Chapter 4：Who are you?! (2)

Renae walked into the office with the supervision of the lady officer. She thoroughly went through the information they had about the case to her. She listened attentively to the officer's words so as to not miss out anything she said. It could be a really important clue. Afterwards, the female officer asked if she would like to go to the crime scene to get more information and Renae agreed. She did not wish to waste any more time doing nothing when she is able to discover the culprit. The one that made Matthew suffer. Renae reported to the crime scene at 14 00 with the lady officer. The lady officer left her alone with the rest of the people who were investigating on the situation so they would be focused.

Renae saw 5 other people dressed in white suits with masks on. As she walked closer, a teen boy, probably the same age as her, questioned her. "Who let you in? Are you here to investigate this case too?" He asked Renae in a deep voice. It caused her heart to beat a million times faster. 'What's happening to me...?' Renae asked herself. "Yes, I'm Renae. And you are?" she replied politely. "I'm Kaiden. I guess we're partners since the other 4 are already grouped together." he said in an expressionless voice. When Renae heard that the rest already had partners, it made her feel like an outsider, which was not wrong since she's not a police officer. Renae felt that Kaiden gave off a distant but charismatic vibe. The first thing she noticed about him was his cross earrings, which meant he was probably a Christian or a Catholic. His green eyes were hypnotising. Renae fell into a daze staring at them for so long. She felt as if she'd do anything he told her to do.

They looked around the crime scene to start off the searching. Even though they were split into groups, they would still share whatever they found with each other. "Outside the vault, 5 bullets found... looks like it's the bullet of a 1990 Akdal Ghost TR01. The manufacturer of this pistol is Akdal Arms. The vault is wide open and it's a mess in here. Many, but not much, gold has been stolen. No shoe prints seen. The blood stains only on the outside of the vault, none on the inside." Renae reported through the walkie-talkie. "Alright, good job. There's nothing, much at the staircase or toilet. I haven't found anything at least." one of the other police man on this case reported.

"Behind the counter, many bullets and blood stains. Half the bullets are from the same gun Renae reported, the Akdal Ghost TR01.... the other half... I know it's an assualt rifle but I don't know what... Also, the blood stains have foot prints in them. This means we should see bloody foot prints prints around. Keep an eye out." Kaiden reported. Renae thought about it for a while, then replied, "Meet me at the entrance, I think I can tell what gun it is." After that they both made their way to the entrance. "Here." Kaiden passed the gun over. "It's an AK-101... the manufacturer is Kalashnikov Concern... beautiful gun. Too bad it was in the wrong hands." Renae said, her eyes sparkling as she stared at the gun, almost mesmerised.
