Chapter 29：I Am Yu Lin

Hai Rin look at her watch, it's already passed 7 pm. She looked at Andy Lu who was driving beside her.

"Andy, I want to go to the Central Park, can you drop me there? I think I want to be alone for a moment." She said while looking out the window.

"Why? What's wrong? Did anything happen?" he turned his head looking at her worriedly.

"No... I just want to be alone right now."

Andy Lu just nodded and change lane to the Central Park. He park his car at the side of the road. Turning his body to her side, he said "Call me when you're done."

Hai Rin just nodded. She step out from the car and walk to the path at the park with empty mind.

She keep on walking until she saw benches under a huge tree. There are two benches under the tree facing in different direction. Hai Rin takes a seat on a bench that facing a river.

Suddenly she felt like someone else sit on the bench which is located behind her. She turned her head and was stunned for a moment when she saw who the person was. Both of them looked like they were a bit shocked.

"You!" both of them say it simultaneously.

There are silence between them for a moment before the man turned his body and facing her from her side figure.

"I think I know you but I really can't remember when and where. Are you willing to tell me who you are?" Yu Lin started the conversation.

"I think I saw you at the airport that day. But, I'm pretty sure that was our first time met each other." Hai Rin also adjusted her seat and looked at him.

"Hmm..." Yu Lin rubbed his chin a little before he continued again.

"So, what's your name?"

"I am Hai Rin."

"Hai Rin? Seems like our name has a similarity. I am Yu Lin. Nice to meet you Miss Rin." He said nonchalantly.

"I think last time my butler said that you are the top richest in the country, so why are you wandering here?" Hai Rin looked at his face with a puzzled face.

'Butler? So she's not just a random person, I guess.' He thought while looking around them.

Suddenly he saw one person hiding behind a tree that is not far from where they are sitting. Just from the first glance, Yu Lin knew that man is well trained. Luckily he already got used to grow up around the military lifestyle all the time.

"I just want to enjoy the scenery at night. After all, my mood is not quite good right now." He smile at the man behind the tree.

Andy Lu's frowned his eyebrow. He then took out his mini binocular from his pocket and look at that man silently.

"Oh? Seems like I'm not the one who had a bad day, huh?" she chuckle a little.

"Boyfriend?" he asked with a calm voice.

"Hmm... I don't know... but, maybe I do like him."

"One sided love?"

"Pathetic, isn't it?" she let out a soft laugh.

"If you thinks it's worth it then try harder to win him over. But, if he doesn't appreciate your existence then move on."

"Easy to say then to do it. I guess, I'm just a passerby to him."

"Then tell me who that guy is? I'll beat him up for you. FOC of course."

"Hahah.. Thanks for your kindness my lord. But, no thanks..." she laugh while covering her mouth with her palm.

"How about you? Girlfriend?" Hai Rin try to take a guess.

"Not really... more like my angel." He smile when he reminded her face.

"…" Hai Rin rolled her eyes.

He chuckle when he saw Hai Rin's reaction. "Really. She's my angel."

"Fine…. "She put both her hands up, surrendered.

"Forbidden love?" she ask again.

"Did our instinct always have the same thought? How do you know?"

Hai Rin shrugged her shoulder.

"Lucky guess, probably."

"Hmm… is it too obvious? Ah, forget it." He waved his hand in the air.

"By the way, you shouldn't let your butler wait for too long." He continue again while give a quick glance at the man in hiding.

"How do you know he's waiting for me?" Hai Rin turn her head around and start to look at her surroundings.

"Aren't our instinct work together?" he said nonchalantly. He use one of his hand to support his head.

Hai Rin was dumbfounded when she heard his explanation. She shook her head slowly and take a look at her watch again. She sighed.

"I'll take my leave then. Nice to meet you, Yu Lin." She standing from the bench. While she was standing, a necklace that she wore came out from her shirt.

Yu Lin looked at the necklace. His face was a bit shocked. He said with a serious tone. "Wait."

Hai Rin turn her head looking at the man. "Huh?"

"Where did you get this necklace?" he point his finger at her neck.

"This?" she touch her necklace and lowered her head down a little looking at the necklace.

Yu Lin just nodded his head. He then pull out his necklace around his neck showing at the woman in front of him. The necklace look exactly the same, just with a different letter. Hai Rin has R letter while Yu Lin has L letter.

"Eh? We have the same design necklace!" Hai Rin almost jump from excitement.

"I got it from my mom. I think it might be a trend back then when we were babies." She said with a loving expression in her face. She loves her mother and grandmother more than anything since they are the only family she has.

"Yup. I guess so. It's getting late, you better hurry up or your butler might be died from boredom soon." He nodded his head again. His corner of his eyes catch a glimpse of a man with a battle standby mode.

'Huh! So protective over her.' He said in his mind.

"Ah right! Thanks Yu Lin. Next time if we cross each others path again, let's have a drink, okay?"

"Sure!"
