Chapter 31：Home Detained

"Mom, what's wrong?" Hai Rin approach her mother-in-law with a worried expression.

"Did..did..did you see my 'baby' here?" Xin Me stuttered while looking at Hai Rin's face.

Her eyes already redden and in any moments her tear will come out from her eyes.

"My... My baby orchid." Her tears already rolling down from her elegant face.

"Ohh. You mean orchid that has a various colours and breeds inside the green house?"

She nodded hurriedly. Her palm cover her mouth and nose while other one wipe her tears.

"Mom.. Actually, I.. I'm already send it to the charity organizer. They collect the flower and send it to the old folk's home in the city." she said helplessly. Her expression become guilty when she look at her mother-in-law.

One second. Two second. Three second. There's a thud sound from the green house.

"Mom!" she screams a little when she sees Xin Me already pass out due to the greatest shock that she make.

"Andy, carry her to the living room." Hai Rin instructed Andy Lu who is dumbfounded seeing the first madam has fallen down.

He carried Xin Me into the living room. When they passed by the gazebo near the landscape, Mu Ning who is coincidently pass by was shocked seeing her sister-in-law in Andy's arm passing out.

"What happen? Sis-in law always been in a great shape. She even can fight with the lion if she want to. Why she suddenly pass out?" Mu Ning couldn't help but want to know the reasons.

Her eyes sparkling like a twinkle star. She kept on following Hai Rin and Andy Lu from behind. A few maids also following them in a hectic mode.

Lee Zhen who just done with his therapy walks down to the living room. At the same time, a group of commotion leading by Andy Lu who is carrying Xin Me also arrived at the living room.

Shocked by what he sees, he ask furiously. "What happen?"

Hai Rin jump her body slightly when she heard Lee Zhen's thunder voice echoing the hall.

Not only Hai Rin, but all the maids also shocked by the voice. All of them stand static at their place. Their head lowered down as they fear to look at the elder face.

Hai Rin on the other hand, gather up her courage and her voice. She said with an apologetic voice.

"I'm sorry grandpa, I made mom in the state of shock when I said that I gives her orchid to the charity organizer in the city." Hai Rin eyes already red and wells up.

Seeing her guilty face, Lee Zhen couldn't help but sighing. He shook his head slowly and walks toward them.

"Call in-house doctor, inform them that first madam need a treatment immediately." Lee Zhen instructed Mr. Chu beside him.

"Ah, also.. Call in-house psychiatrist too. She might need their help later." With the strict instruction from the head of the house, Mr. Chu made a call to the person concerned.

Within only three minutes, two doctors and one psychiatrist come into the living room and make some check up on Xin Me.

"Both of you, meet me at my study now." Lee Zhen turn her head to look at Hai Rin and Andy Lu. He then heading to his study with Mr. Chu following behind him.

Noticing the serious look on the elder face, Hai Rin felt like her heart almost pulled out from the string.

Andy Lu cannot comfort her due to many eyes are watching in the living room. He just give Hai Rin a smile on his face saying 'it's alright. You have me.'

She smile back and walked towards the elder's study room in center building on the second floor.

When both of them walked into the room, Mr. Chu close the door and wait patiently next to his master.

"Rinrin, do you know what your mother-in-law loves and what's not?" Lee Zhen asks her seriously.

Hai Rin shake her head.

"What you have done to her is unacceptable to her. If you want a green house, you can tell me. I will gladly provide it for you."

"I'm sorry grandpa." She lowered her head down.

"Therefore, to redeem your mistake, you will need to be home-detained for a week. You are not allowed to go outside of the mansion. You get it?" Lee Zhen soften his voice and look at Hai Rin's troubled face.

"Yes Grandpa."

Lee Zhen nodded satisfied and he look back at Andy beside Hai Rin.

"Andy, as her butler you should know what she's doing is not appropriate. You have been living in this house for almost 20 years, you should be able to know what is first madam loves." His voice turn cold and looked at Andy Lu with a stern face.

"I admit my mistake, great master." Andy bowed his head to the elder. His voice stay calm and his posture does not show any fear.

"If you acknowledge your mistake, then you also should perform home-detained and works at the landscape as a gardener in your free time."

Hearing this, Hai Rin faces turns a bit sad. But, she kept her sadness away immediately. She still needs to keep on the act mode.

"Yes, great master."

Both of them steeping out from the study room and heading to the green house back. Hai Rin sigh deeply.

She couldn't believe that the elder is quite strict with the rules. She feels a bit unfair when Andy had to take the blame and scold from the elder.

Seeing her sad face, Andy Lu shrug her hair into a mess. He chuckle and said with a gentle tone.

"It's okay. I'm still alive, aren't I?"

"But, I feel terrible."

"Don't be. It's my honor to protect you."

Hai Rin lost her word. 'This man really knows how to flirt!'
