Chapter 53 - Welcome To My Very Own Charlie Tango.

Xia Sha could not remember how she falls asleep. But she does have the impression that the movie is so bad that Guan Xian almost left a comment on how illogical it was every minute.

"Xia Sha, wake up, we are here," She heard familiar voices faintly, waking her up from her deep sleep.

Her eyelash flutters as she felt blinding light. A big hand in helping her cover her eyes from the light but her eyes still felt uncomfortable. She turns away from the light, slightly snuggling to her right side.

Soft and warm cotton meet her cheeks as she heard a chuckle. "Are you that sleepy?" he asked after he stops chuckling.

Xia Sha slowly gains her consciousness. She squinted her eyes to see the person next to him. Several questions pop into her mind before a glimpse of memories filled in those blanks for her.

Right, she falls asleep at the cinema on a date with Guan Xian.

Guan Xian. Her heart whispered silently. She looked up and found the man's dark brown eyes fall on her eyes.

Her mind could not proceed with what happened to her right now. Her heart must be tired of beating so intensely after just waking up. Forget the butterflies, she felt the entire zoo is having a party at her ticklish stomach right now.

She forgot to breathe for three heartbeats, realizing she needs to say something as he asked, "Are you okay?"

She is not okay right now. She is out of her mind!

"I'm okay," instead, she said.

"Can we continue our date now, or you want to head back?" He raised his eyes, which twinkle so bright. The more she looks at those dark brown iris, the more she realized he has a pitch-black ring on his outer iris.

She was so busy with his eyes that she did not realize she is ignoring his question. Guan Xian looks like he is unfazed with her ignorance. Thinking that she would likely choose to head back, he added, "I promised you, you will regret heading back if you do."

Slightly flinched, Xia Sha quickly controls her face and expression. She uses her tongue to wet her dried lips.

"We are still on a date?" She looks dumbfounded. Guan Xian lips stretched up. Mischievous smiles appear on his attractive face.

"Honey, the real date just started." He shot his eyes at one big object in front of their car. Xia Sha followed his gaze, finding the same blinding light that disturbs her sleep.

Is it a helicopter she saw?

She gasps, looking at Guan Xian with unbelievable eyes. Guan Xian screened her expression and could not stop himself from looking proud. He is very confident she is so impressed with his effort.

He should consider buying Cun Xi something for replying so fast when he need help. Wang Kai and Jian Jun, he should consider kicking their out from their group chat.

The surprise in Xia Sha's eyes only lasts for a moment. When he was not aware, her face turned into a questioning look. She almost gagged when she said, "Do you plan to awe me with Christian Grey's moves?"

"Do you like him?" He tilted his head. His lips still quill into a smile, but he could felt it twitching.

"er..., maybe?" Xia Sha did not know what to answer. She hides her blush while attacking him with other questions. But Guan Xian, who had seen the perfect opportunity, did not want to let it go.

"So, what are we doing?"

"Well, sorry to disappoint you, but we are not going with Mr.Grey style this time." He said with his annoying smirk.

Xia Sha widens her eyes and instantly look away from him. She could feel her cheeks heated up.

"I never said-" She wanted to clarify herself, but the sound of the door closing has shut her off. Guan Xian has stepped out of the door, and she could saw him going to open the door for her.

"..."

The door opens with a soft crack voice. Guan Xian reaches out his hand, inviting Xia Sha to join him. "Let's go. I'll take you somewhere that makes all your stress fly away."

"I don't do drugs." Xia Sha wanted to hit her own head after hearing her lame jokes. Xia Sha, hadn't you embarrassed yourself enough?

"Pfft..." Guan Xian could not hold his laughter. Xia Sha rolled her eyes, pretend to be nonchalant when in fact, she is so embarrassed that she wanted to die right now.

Guan Xian escorted her to the helicopter after assuring her that it's not a drug. Xia Sha never lay her eyes on him again, afraid that something stupid will come out of her mouth again.

The closer they are to the helicopter, the noisier it gets. Guan Xian proudly stood in front of the shiny black helicopter, smirking at Xia Sha.

"Welcome to my very own Charlie Tango."

Xia Sha pressed her lips and lowered her gaze. Her blood rushing to her palm as she gritted her teeth, "I did not like-"

"Get in!" He touched her hand, half forcing her to get into the passenger seat. Her eyes widen once again. She spontaneously asked, "You will drive yourself?"

"I got my license, baby." He said proudly.

Xia Sha raised her eyebrow, trying not to look very impressed with him. This guy although looks not reliable has more lots of merit he could brag about other than his bad reputation. Although, she might be the only one who refuses to believe his brilliance.

He quickly crawls to the driver seat. The first thing he does is turning his head to her side, ensure Xia Sha is safe. He takes the headphone, helps Xia Sha put it on her ear.

"Comfortable?" he asked quietly.

Xia Sha nodded her head, trying to compose herself in the middle of a heart crisis. What's more when he leaned in and securing her seatback. Her eyes circle perfectly as she blinks her eyes forcefully.

When he felt the rigid and somewhat weird rhythm of her breath, he looked up, and his voice echoes at her headphones, "Are you okay?"

She nodded her head once again. Even though she is felt far away from okay right now.

SHE IS NOT OKAY!

Guan Xian said something in a mix of numbers to the navigator while Xia Sha observing him quietly. "..., over and out." His deep voice rang out.

Her hand grips tightly on her belt when the helicopter starts flying to the sky. She watched him turning some switched and grasping the stick neatly. He has his boyish grin all the time, bring her rises from above.

An incredible amount of words stuck on her tongue. She looked through the clear window, beautiful light from the polluted city become her views.

The view is incredible, she felt a different sense of wonder rushing on her body.

"That is the Guan Corporation building," he pointed out one of the tallest and brightest buildings from his seat. Xia Sha followed the tip of his finger.

"Hmm," She nodded her head, now busying herself to see her company building. Guan Xian smiled and pointed in another direction, "That's yours." he said.

Xia Sha was initially very excited about his help. But after witnessing how pathetic her building to the Guans. Her eyes naturally turn a bit somber, before it burning with another flame.

"Don't be too cocky, I'll build my company bigger than yours." She said smugly, obtaining Guan Xian's chuckles beside her.

"I'm sure you will," he said.

On normal days, Xia Sha would think he is looking down on her. But tonight is too special for her to ruins with unimportant bickering. Capital City at midnight is a whole new level of breathtaking.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" he suddenly murmured, glancing at her with a grin.

"Beautiful? Guan Xian this is more than beautiful. This is breathtaking!" She gapes at him before admiring the view again.

"Oh, well, I'll take you somewhere even more breathtaking than this." He said with a little cockiness that she could still accept.

"Impossible." She answers almost instantly, while he just shrugged her shoulder as his answer. He pointed at the other building, grinning when he said, "That is the Skylar Tower. foods and views are amazing there."

"Whatever it overs, it does not worth its ridiculous prices."

"I can guarantee it very much worth the price."

"Come on, fifty thousand for one dining?" She said with 'are you kidding me' looks.

Guan Xian laughed and pressed her lips. "You sound like you are one of those women who fight at a clearance sale when we both know your dress cost more than that dinner."

Xia Sha stunned upon hearing his answer. That's actually enlightening how much Ling Guang's has affected her life. She once remembers Skylar's first opening.

Instead, she nodded her head while giving him a reassuring smile.

"Come on, fifty thousand for one dining? It's ridiculous!"

"Come on, don't say you never been to Skylar before because of the price?" Guan Xian's voice snaps her back from her daydream. She flinched and did not have time to answer his question. He make it sound like her reason is ridiculous.

"You know what, I'll give you a free coupon if it's because of the price. But promised me to try it, once at least." He demanded.

"You sound so offended, chill." Xia Sha smiles.

Guan Xian shook his head and look at Xia Sha with a serious face. "Xia Sha, I owned the place."
