Chapter 158 - You Are Dead

"Impossible! That sounds like a complete novel. Why would people do that?" Zheng Shuang furrowed her eyebrow but laughed as if she just heard a joke. 

"I'm not even kidding. You could check your apartment's security footage. That girl was there when I called you while you fly to Paris with Kai Xin," Xia Sha suggested. 

Zheng Shuang looked at her warily but still take out her phone and check her apartment CCTV. She looked hesitant but curious at the same time. 

Xia Sha could understand Zheng Shuang's response. After all, she, herself, could never accept someone stole her face and identity. Not to mention, fool her fiancee like a flip of a hand. 

"Gasp! What is that!" Zheng Shuang almost broke her phone when she loses grasp of it out of surprise. Xia Sha kindly place the phone back in the owner's direction and smiles. 

"See? I'm not high and creating nonsense. Someone is trying to steal your face and identity." 

Zheng Shuang felt shivers running all over her body. She pointed at her phone and put on a scarred face. 

"Where is this psycho now?" 

"Don't worry. I locked that girl up now with help from Guan Xian and the rest. However, I need to ask you something. Did Xiao Yu acted suspiciously lately, and do you have feelings for Xiao Zhan?" 

"Xiao Yu has always acted suspiciously. That is why I wanted to call off the wedding. He sometimes said something that I don't understand. He thought that I hate you! Gosh! But I might know the reason now," Zheng Shuang looked disgusted when at the sight of her phone.

"Hm, that girl might be someone we bullied in the past? I'm not sure. But she does hate us with all of her soul," Xia Sha mumbles when she remembers that young woman's erratic screams. 

"You talk to her? What did she say?" Zheng Shuang led inwardly to Xia Sha to hear her story. 

"Lots of things that indicate we ruined her life. She also said that I need to break up with Guan Xian and marry Xiao Zhan. That will make me miserable because you will hate me," Xia Sha raised her eyebrow in sardonic. 

"Ew! She must have thought I like Xiao Zhan! Ew! Just because I always push Xiao Yu away doesn't mean I love another person. Moreover, his brother and my best friend's ex. That is like double violation!" Zheng Shuang detests of the young woman's thought. 

Zheng Shuang was just as expressive as Xiao Ni. It was amusing to look at her expression changing every time she talks. 

"All is fair in love and war. What does double violation even mean?" chuckles escaped from Xia Sha's mouth. 

"You know what I meant. Don't act stupid." Zheng Shuang rolled her eyes and sarcastically replied. 

"So, does that mean you are actually like Xiao Yu?" Xia Sha raised her eyebrow and wiggled it to tease Zheng Shuang. Zheng Shuang put on her straight face and scoffed. 

"Do I look like someone who will listen to my dad? Even if he drags me to the altar, if I don't like the person, I'll run away!" 

Zheng Shuang speaks out loud without realizing two figure men standing at the door. Xia Sha wrinkled her nose and smiles at Zheng Shuang. 

"Senior Xiao Yu would be glad to hear that," Xia Sha murmured, lowering her head as she surpasses her urge to laugh. 

"Hmph! He will never hear it! He could not even distinguish between real and fake. Do you know that one time he thought that I wished you will marry Xiao Zhan so we can be sister-in-law? What nonsense, we are already sisters!" Zheng Shuang could not stop rumbling once she let her frustration out. 

Xia Sha nods her head slightly, trying several ways to make Zheng Shuang aware of the other listener on her back. 

"I thought he was on drugs or cheating."

"I did not," That deep hoarse voice shook Zheng Shuang internally. She sat up straight and glared at Xia Sha with blaming eyes. 

'Why don't you tell me he was here? Since When?' she could shot a laser from her eyes. 

Xia Sha sucked the inner part of her cheek so her laughter couldn't escape. Zheng Shuang pouted and sicked her head down to the table. 

"Stinky Xia Sha, I'll get you back later," Zheng Shuang turned vengeful. She felt Xiao Yu has casually taken his seatback, her brain froze. 

Meanwhile, Guan Xian playfully tapped Xia Sha's shoulder twice with a smile. When he got Xia Sha's attention, he winked, showing that he had succeeded in his mission. 

"He confessed," Guan Xian state casually, pointing at Xiao Yu. 

"Confessed?" Zheng Shuang look baffled while Xiao Yu was dumbfounded.

"Oh, he confessed that he suffers from Prosopagnosia. That is why that girl could fool him so easily. He also confessed that he wanted to unite the Xia and Xiao families together. That is why he wanted Xiao Zhan to marry you." Guan Xian said innocently. He looks cheerful while Xiao Yu's face darkened.

"WHAT? Prosopagnosia? Are you going to die? that sounds serious?" Zheng Shuang look like a sad puppy as she reached for Xiao yu's hand. Xiao Yu, who is secretly enjoying her attention, hold his smile.

"It's not that serious. Prosopagnosia is the inability to recognize a face. But I'm not that severe. I could recognize faces but not in detail." Xiao Yu explained. 

"I don't blame him. That woman does look and sounds like Zheng Shuang," Guan Xian tried to help him out.

Xia Sha and Zheng Shuang rolled their eyes at them. Men. It would be a miracle if they could point out details. That young woman's voice was different from Zheng Shuang's. 

Xia Sha looked at Xiao Yu and let out a heavy breath. She knocked her knuckle on the wood table to get his attention. 

"We need to find that girl's identity. Does she left any clue?" 

Xia Sha had completely let out her pretentious mask and treated Xiao Yu as how she should treat him in the first place. Of course, even though Xiao Yu seems to be the victim here doesn't mean he could escape from the suspect list. 

She didn't forget that she hasn't counted her grudges with the Xiao family. She still needs to be careful around Xiao Yu. 

"I do overhear her talking to someone occasionally. She seems to call the person over the phone 'missus'?" Xiao Yu squinted his eyes and furrowed his eyebrow. He tried to recall something that could help the investigation. 

"I overheard her singing the classical song. Once," Xiao Yu chimed in, suddenly realizing his stupidity. 

"How does she sound," Zheng Shuang's eyes glaring at Xiao Yu fiercely. Xiao Yu gulp nervously, he shook his head.

Zheng Shuang would close her eyes and let Xiao Yu passed if those words come out of his mouth instantly. However, those words coming from the man sitting next to Xia Sha instead. 

Zhe Shuang glares at Xiao Yu. 

"Bro, you should've to answer like that instantly. Does she look prettier? No! Does she have a nice body? No!" Guan Xian hissed as if Xiao Yu's response had disappointed him as his teacher. 

Guan Xian grinned and stretched his arm to hold Xia Sha's beside him. 

"I don't know someone could have a lower EQ than Jian Jun. But I found one right here. I have to admit. It's fun," Guan Xian murmured in a low voice but making it loud enough for Xiao Yu to hear. 

She did not realize Xia Sha's face had darkened, and smoke started to come out from her head. She elbowed Guan Xian's stomached to pushed him away and gritted her teeth. 

"You sound so experience in this. It must be a perk of being a Cassanova before," Xia Sha glare at him. 

Guan Xian seems to be lost at the word. He turned to Xiao Yu and send a help signal. However, Xiao Yu is not his best friend. Xiao Yu would care less if Xia Sha broke up with Guan Xian because of these small matters. 

Instead, he will be grateful. Guan Xian, this opportunist, and sly man could taste his own medicine. 

First of all, confessed? Xiao Yu wouldn't say anything to help Xia Sha even though he knew that he missed something. He would rather investigate everything himself. Moreover, it's taboo to show his weakness at to his rival.

Thirdly, he dares to provoke Zheng Shuang when he already had lost of apologized lining up for his fiancee. His head was aching from the first time he saw Guan Xian in the bathroom. 

Since he had made him miserable, it was refreshing to let him suffer the same things. So, instead of helping Guan Xian, he added something to provoke Xia Sha's anger.

Xia Sha gasped when she heard Xiao Yu's word. She stood up and left the room quickly.

Guan Xian: "!!!" 

Xiao Yu, I will hold grudges at you and your whole family from this moment! He hissed to Xiao Yu before he run out to chase Xia Sha.

Zheng Shuang looked at Xiao Yu and patted his shoulder. 

"Brother, you are death."
