Ji Fanyin had no intention of giving in to Ji Xinxin’s half-threatening half-pleading request.

She was willing to meet Song Shiyu because she could earn a few million from the meeting, but as for Ji Xinxin…

First of all, Ji Xinxin was definitely not going to pay her.

Secondly, regardless of whether she went or not, Ji Xinxin would still contribute huge chunks of Emotional Points to her anyway.

Shortly after Ji Xinxin returned to the country, Ji Fanyin came to realize just how wild that young lady’s imagination was. Her emotions seemed to be constantly on a roller coaster, contributing huge amounts of Emotional Points that could nearly match Song Shiyu’s.

Still, Ji Fanyin was rather curious to know if Ji Xinxin was really going to ‘keep waiting for her’.

So, she looked through her memory to search for the handicraft shop that Ji Xinxin spoke of. She tapped into a delivery app to hire a runner to purchase something at the handicraft shop on her behalf.

The shop closed at 9 P.M., so Ji Fanyin requested for the runner to head there at 8.45 P.M.. She specifically told the runner to give her a call upon arriving at the shop.

“Hello, I am calling from Flash Delivery Knight.”

“I’d like you to buy the most popular felt craft in the shop for me. Make sure to collect the receipt.” Ji Fanyin’s focus was naturally not on the handicraft products. “I’d like you to look around the shop and check if there’s a beautiful woman sitting alone.”

The handicraft shop catered to a niche market segment, so there weren’t many customers. The boss was operating the shop mainly out of interest.

It was because of its quiet environment that Ji Fanyin often headed there alone.

There were only eight tables provided for the customers in that shop, so it took only a simple sweeping glance to scan the area.

The runner slowly scanned the area as he said, “Most of them seem to be in groups. I don’t see any… Ah! There’s a young lady sitting alone by the windows. She appears to be waiting for someone.”

Oh? She’s really waiting for me? Not bad.

Ji Fanyin’s eyebrows shot up. “Okay. Buy the items I requested. Give me a call when you get here.”

The runner soon arrived at Ji Fanyin’s residence. His face visibly stiffened when he saw Ji Fanyin’s appearance, “H-hello?”

His face revealed his horror.

“That woman sitting in the shop is my little sister. She threw a tantrum and left home, so I’ve been keeping tabs on her to ensure her safety,” Ji Fanyin randomly found an excuse to explain things. She transferred the money to the runner and said, “Thanks for making the trip.”

The runner nodded in a daze. “O-oh… I think that shop is going to close soon. Will your little sister be fine?”

Ji Fanyin nonchalantly glanced at the incoming call on her phone as she replied, “She’ll be fine. She’s old enough to know her way around.”

It was only after shutting the door that Ji Fanyin calmly picked up Ji Xinxin’s call. “Yes?”

“… Big sis, are you really not coming over to meet me?” asked Ji Xinxin. “I’ve already waited for you for an entire day.”

“You’ve worked hard,” replied Ji Fanyin.

She squeezed the phone between her ear and her shoulder as she carried the plush animals she had just received from the runner to her living room.

Oh? They’re surprisingly cute. I’ll leave them on the table as decoration.

“Since big sis isn’t willing to meet me in person, let’s talk over the phone instead,” said Ji Xinxin. “Are you free now?”

“What if I’m not?”

“… I know your secret, big sis,” said Ji Xinxin. “I’ve already figured out the reason why you’ve changed so much recently.”

Those words successfully piqued the interest of the previously disinterested Ji Fanyin.

“Big sis… you dreamt of that person too, didn’t you?”

Ji Fanyin fell silent. “… The God of Fortune?”
