Chapter 159 - The Real Incidents

Hearing how his son talked to him, Long Shao Huai was even angrier, but he held back. He pointed to the door. "Leave and don't come again."

"I don't even want to come here." Long Ying shrugged and walked out of the door calmly.

As the door was closed, the temperature in the room dropped even further. Long Shao Huai was staring at the documents laid on his table with annoyance. He knew very well that when problems like this cropped up, it also meant that the two brats would try to influence him.

How did he know?

That was because it was what happened during his time as well. This wouldn't do, he had to have a good talk with those two brats….

Long Ying left the Long Residence and called An Lin to drive the car. When the latter came, he noticed the somber expression on Long Ying's face. He immediately shut his mouth to allow Long Ying to calm down first. It was only after some time did he ask to Long Ying while driving.

"Boss, is there anything we can do?"

"No. Just do your job quietly. The battle had just begun and the two sides have full artillery. If we come and influence them, it's obvious that we're just going to get caught in crossfire." Long Ying's smile turned colder. "Return back to Island A."

"Boss?"

"Let it be."

"Yes." An Lin understood that there would be some problems in Long Family but it was clear that Long Ying had no intention to participate in that kind of problems at all. Instead, he was letting things to develop on their own while he was watching from the sidelines.

Was Boss planning to become the oriole from that mantis stalk cicada but didn't notice the oriole behind? Would Long Shao Huai even allowed Long Ying to not get involved in this matter at all?

An Lin was a bit worried.

However, Long Ying's expression was calm. His silver eyes were watching the surroundings around him without any change in his emotion in the slightest bit. He didn't allow this matter to influence him.

As time passed, news regarding Long Family dispute began to surface from time to time. Previously, the two brothers were known to be harmonious with each other. They were polite with each other in public and thus, it was said that many people were envious of Long Family.

Only an extremely small portion of people knew the truth behind the scene. Of course, they didn't dare to leak it out in fear that they would be digging their grave. But with this news surfacing from time to time, it was clear that the Long Family was having an upheaval. 

Many people came to realize that the Long Family would undergo changes soon.

Long Family was not connected to all of the enterprise in the entire world to the point that everyone had to pay attention to them completely. 

They were busy because of their private matters.

Right now, Yu Yan was also busy looking at the documents that Long Ying gave to her. She was speechless when she saw the result of Long Ying's investigation regarding her mother. 

She had been asking for this for some time, but when she finally got it in her hand, she felt that the paper was so heavy. Reading the content, her feelings could only be described by surprise and more surprise. 

This… was this the truth?

"Are you that surprised?" Long Ying asked his wife helplessly. If only it was possible, he really didn't wish to show the documents to Yu Yan. But since she was the one who asked, he had no other choice but to comply with her.

He had been wondering why Kang Mao Lan hated Yu Yan so much, but he would have never thought that this was the case until he finished the investigation. To think that there would be something like this.

Well, it was not that weird, too.

After all, Long Ying had already seen the structure of Yu Family. For someone like Kang Mao Lan, this might have been something normal. 

Yu Yan nodded. "I never… thought that this can happens."

No matter how much she disliked her parents because of their indifference to her, she would have never thought that there was something like this that occurred at the background. This… was clearly crossing the line. 

"Do you have any question?"

"Am I Yu Zheng Tong's daughter?" Yu Yan asked slowly. Her hand that was holding the paper was trembling slightly. She didn't feel like she wanted to know but at the same time, she wanted to know. 

Long Ying nodded. "There's no doubt about that. I do DNA test for you and your father. The result is undeniable."

Yu Yan lowered her eyes and looked at the documents in front of her. Slowly, she asked. "How about my sister?"

"I never try to test, but it's possible that she's not." Long Ying narrowed his eyes. "Would you like to conduct a test?"

Possible.

In the past, Yu Yan just thought that her mother disliked her because she was unaccomplished. It had been burdening her mind for some time but she knew that she was not that talented as a person. Compared to her sister, she was indeed not that much. But now that this result was out…

It was possible that the reason her mother didn't like her was because she was the child of her and Yu Zheng Tong. She liked the child she had with another person….

Yu Yan didn't know whether to cry or laugh. 

In the past, she thought that if she worked a bit harder, her mother and father would give her attention. But now that she had seen this result, was it even possible for her mother to care for her?
