Long Ying noticed that the four clowns were still going on and on about what they wanted to prepare and kept his phone away. In any case, he didn't really think that there was any need for him to keep them in his field of vision. They already knew what they should do or shouldn't do.

"Why do you keep looking at your phone?" Yu Yan peered and saw the group's conversation. Her lips twitched when she saw that they were thinking of buy several cakes for both her and Long Ying.

Did they think that the two of them were big gluttons?

"Would you like to join the group?" Long Ying asked.

"Maybe after today's party. I don't want to ruin their intention of giving surprise." Yu Yan noticed that they wanted to surprise her. Though, Long Ying had already leaked some parts to her through this way.

Long Ying chuckled and patted Yu Yan's head tenderly. "Don't worry too much, they would not mind even if you know."

"I'll just let them continue to prepare the surprise." Yu Yan giggled and pushed Long Ying's hand to the side. She really didn't want to destroy the party by knowing what those four planned to do.

Come to think about it, during her birthday, the four clowns also wished to prepare a birthday party. But because she was staying with a certain Clan Head for the majority of the day and was exhausted for the latter half, they really couldn't do anything.

Ugh… thinking about it made Yu Yan's face turned red.

Long Ying nodded. "Alright then. You don't have to worry about them not throwing proper party. I'll scold them if they dare to do that. You can do your own thing for now."

"En."

Taking her own phone, Yu Yan contacted Lei Xing Yi again. It was only now she realized why her grandfather wanted her to be the one in charge of the management and not leaving it to Lei Xing Yi completely. In her opinion, the plans that Lei Xing Yi planned to implement were mostly implausible and merely wasting money.

She had to correct Lei Xing Yi in many of her plans to make sure that the funding was used appropriately.

If other people heard what she was saying, they might want to vomit blood. In their eyes, the plans that Lei Xing Yi made was already very good because it could earn them a lot of profit within short period of time. It was just that Yu Yan's standards were a bit too high.

After being trained by her grandfather, Yu Yan's standard was indeed very high. It was just that she rarely used her capabilities because there was no chance for her to use it in the past. 

Yu Yan: I'm going back to City A. Have you finalized the company?

Lei Xing Yi: The company is already ongoing ever since a long time ago. I just planned to buy a new place since my place is a bit too small now that the business has started to develop.

Yu Yan: Oh? Where do you plan to buy it? Don't forget to haggle and pick good place.

Lei Xing Yi: There's going to be several land bidding next week and I plan to participate. Let me give you the list of the lands and the estimated price.

Yu Yan: got it.

The file was sent over and Yu Yan browsed through it. The lands were in City A and the location as fairly good. The price was also negotiable and since it was bidding, it was clear that it would fall to whoever managed to bid the highest.

After thinking for a bit, Yu Yan sent her price estimation for each of the land and also the amount of money that Lei Xing Yi might need to prepare. The size of the lands were all different from one to another but they were all similarly valuable piece of land.

Hmm, the selection was pretty good. It was up to their luck to be able to obtain it. 

Yu Yan: You're really lucky that the owner is willing to sell these lands.

Lei Xing Yi: Oh, I heard that the owner is bankrupt not long ago so the lands have to be sold as fast as possible. That's why there'll be land bidding. The one who host it… uh wait, I need to check.

Lei Xing Yi: It's from Zhou Family

Lei Xing Yi: One of his sons, I don't remember his name.

Yu Yan: …You might need to learn how to remember their names soon since you might need to cooperate with them.

Lei Xing Yi: Hmm, I'll think about it. Right now, my first priority is to make sure that I will not die out of overwork.

Yu Yan: Get more employees, girl!

Lei Xing Yi: Easy for you to say that but you're not even here!

Yu Yan: tsk!

From business talk, their conversation ended up at the two of them bantering. After talking for a long time of several nonsensical talk, the two of them stopped. It was also true that Lei Xing Yi was busy since she was still in university and yet, she had to manage her company.

Yu Yan herself didn't really have anything to do and she couldn't exactly help Lei Xing Yi in some matters. When it came to the employees, Yu Yan barely knew them and didn't know how much they could be trusted until she met them directly.

"Ying, which area do you live in City A?" Yu Yan asked curiously.

"At the border, the west one." Long Ying glanced at Yu Yan and arched his eyebrows. "The headquarter had moved its place from time to time and I didn't live in a mansion right off the bat. Why?"

"I'm just thinking that if you live near Yu Family Residence, why do we never meet each other before?"
