"Hmm, your husband will not let you know the detail. Those who knew about this will be in danger because this drug is kept under wrap even after three or four decades." Lisa was troubled. She sighed. "You just need to know that this drug is disguised as strength drug."

Strength drug?

The name made Yu Yan perplexed. She looked at Lisa with a confused expression because what crossed her mind when one was talking about strength was muscles and more muscles…

At this time Long Ying had finished talking and walked to Yu Yan. He pulled her closer to him. "Let's go back."

"You're done?" Yu Yan was surprised. That was a bit too fast.

"We'll ambush them and you'll come with me."

"Huh?" Yu Yan was stunned when she heard Long Ying's arrangement. Looking at his serious expression, she decided not to speak about what she wanted to say. From the way it looked like, he had another reason why he wanted her to participate in this ambush.

Long Ying nodded at Kira. "Prepare yourself and your men. I won't be able to protect you."

Kira chuckled. "You don't have to worry about me. You won't be able to defeat me much less them."

"Don't push your luck. I'll be able to defeat you if I go all out."

"We shall have a spar sometime in the future."

"Sure."

The two men were naturally competitive and didn't want to lose out to each other. On the other hand, Yu Yan blinked her eyes in confusion. If she was not wrong, Mr. Kira was a businessman, right? When did he turn into a powerful martial artist whom Long Ying couldn't even defeat easily?

The transformation was a bit too fast and unexpected.

Lisa rolled her eyes and poked her husband's hand. "Don't you try to challenge everyone you meet. If you got hurt in the middle of the journey again, I'll tell your parents and let them beat you to pulp."

Mr. Kira's back was now soaked with cold sweat. From all people in the entire world, the only people whom he was afraid of would be his mother and father. The two of them… was his absolute nightmare. But of course, that was only if he did something wrong that deserved spanking. If he did nothing wrong, of course he didn't have to worry about his parents spanking him and beat him up black and blue without giving him any chance to retort. 

Long Ying shook his head and waved his hand. "I'll be going now. Don't forget our agreement."

"I can say the same to you."

Leading Yu Yan out, Long Ying ignored the pair inside. They still needed to discuss more of the detail with his uncle while Long Ying would hear their report later. He had already arranged his men to prepare the location for the ambush and what he needed to do right now was to have some rest.

As they entered the car, Yu Yan turned to look at Long Ying. "Tell me more."

"What do you want me to say to you?" Long Ying replied.

"The ambush."

"That's…."

"Why do you want me to come with you?" Yu Yan stressed the point that she wanted to know the most. Back in the room, it was unsuitable for her to interrogate her husband in front of so many people. But now that they were alone in the car, excluding An Lin who become the driver, she could talk freely with him.

Long Ying looked at Yu Yan with a complicated expression. "They're going to attack you no matter whether you're with me or not."

In other words, he wanted her to stay near him so that he could protect her from harm. Those people would not hesitate to harm her once they saw that she was alone or even with him. After all, some people already knew that he had a wife and that his wife would be his weakness.

Yu Yan drew a sharp breath. As she had thought. Her existences naturally led to Long Ying having to adjust his plan to make sure that she was save and sound. He didn't want to let her be harmed and it was true in many aspects.

"Yan'er, I…"

"What is it?" Yu Yan noticed the hesitation in Long Ying's eyes.

"I don't want to lose you, so you have to make sure that you're close to me and the others, alright?" Long Ying stressed the point. There was no need for Yu Yan to know everything as long as she could stay near them because it was the only way he could protect her the best.

"Are they retaliating?"

"That's obvious." Long Ying let out a dry laugh. Thinking of the people whom he had to fight because of the drug matter, he felt even more annoyed right now. They were supposed to not even be in this country and yet somehow after decades of being dormant, this type of drug appeared once more.

It was so annoying.
