Chapter 125 - Actor Long Ying

Why did that man wanted to meet him?

"Did he say anything else?"

"He only says that he wants to talk to you about something and that if you reject meeting him, you'll regret it forever."

Bao Tu's lips twitched. What a big mouth. He always thought that Yu Yan was already arrogant enough but he found out that her husband was even more arrogant compared to that woman.

There were times when he really wondered what made him fall for Yu Yan when he saw her back then. The first time he met that woman, she had a stoic face because she had just fallen out of love. The way she continued to reject him was intriguing, making him interested in her.

He tried to court her through various methods and even visited the Kang Family in order to get more information.

It was there he met with Yu Xin, who was more beautiful and attentive than Yu Yan. While Yu Xin was also aiming to get high position in her career, she still paid more attention to him. On the other hand, he took so much time to pursue Yu Yan and by the time she began to agree to go with him, his passion had started to die down.

Probably that kind of woman was not exactly his type. She even broke her promises over and over, making him annoyed.

Sighing, he waved his hand lightly.

"Did he bring anything?"

"He's carrying a folder with him."

"A folder?" Bao Tu was even more confused. From what he knew based on his investigation regarding Long Ying, the man was nothing more than a useless man who couldn't even get any job. And yet, he was coming here with a folder and claimed that he had to meet with him.

Oh well, his mood was already bad because he couldn't attend Xiao Han Yu's birthday party. It couldn't be worse if he chose to meet that man, right?

"Let him come."

"Yes, CEO."

It didn't take long for Long Ying to appear on the top floor. He glanced around slightly but it was clear that his attention returned back to Bao Tu. The gaze he had didn't look like one who was useless.

Bao Tu looked at Long Ying coldly. "What do you want?"

"I have a proposal to make." Long Ying also didn't want to beat around the bush. He even refused to greet this man, whom he deemed to not even worthy of him calling the other party with his name directly.

"What proposal?"

"I want you to get married with Yu Xin."

Bao Tu's lips twitched as he looked at the annoying man in front of him. He did have plan to get married to Yu Xin but it was only if he couldn't find any better woman than her. Just as he was about to rebuke Long Ying, the man took out a paper.

"And if you do it within the next two weeks, I'll transfer AB mine profit share to you."

AB mine profit share!

Last year, there was a significant increase in the profit, which was why even Yu Xin got over 10 million of yuan. Her share was only as much as 5%, which meant that the total profit was even bigger than that. Her mother, aunts, and cousins, all got even more than her as their shares were bigger.

Of course, not all profit was distributed because a part of them was being used to invest more but it was still quite a large sum.

Bao Tu looked at Long Ying. "You're willing to throw away that share just for the sake of me marrying Yu Xin?"

"I don't want you to pester my wife." Long Ying's face was straightforward.

The secretary was looking at Long Ying as if looking at a fool. Bao Tu was no longer interested in Yu Yan and naturally would not try to snatch a beggar's wife. There was no need for this and Bao Tu would not even get close to Yu Yan.

It seemed that this man was also a fool in love.

"Just for that?" Bao Tu was so surprised that he blurted out the thoughts in his mind.

"What do you mean just for that? I don't want to see annoying men like you pester my wife. Besides, your aim is this share, right?" Long Ying sneered at Bao Tu.

Bao Tu was silent for a while. AB mine has become his supplier since the past few months. The price was already reduced since Yu Xin was his girlfriend, but it was still quite an imaginable sum. But if he could get the share, it meant that he could get free supply worth 5% of the total mines.

It was quite a lot.

At least, for him.

"How much do you want?"

"50 million of yuan."

Bao Tu's face turned cold. "Are you trying to exhort me?"

Long Ying sneered. "Just 5% already earn me more than 10 million of Yuan while you can get it for long term. 50 million is just the price of 4 to 5 years."

Well, that was true.

However, to cough out up to 50 million of Yuan directly was not something Bao Tu could do. He needed to talk with his family members about it.

"What? You don't think that this price is good enough? If you don't want to, I'll just sell this to other businessmen. There are a lot who are working in jewelries industry in the party and I know some of them."

Of course, Long Ying didn't only know them through the party just now. He already knew a lot of businessmen because he was the one cleaning up after their mess when they asked for Dragon Clan help. He would not say this to Bao Tu, though.

Hearing that, Bao Tu's mood turned sourer. He was not even invited to the party and yet a beggar like Long Ying could come. It seemed as if his worth was not even as much as the annoying beggar in front of him.

"Good, draft the contract. I'll surely get married to Yu Xin within two weeks." Bao Tu sneered. Yu Family had actually finished the preparation and only required Bao Tu approval. Besides, just signing that certificate was already more than enough.

Long Ying smiled. "If you can be faster, I can ask my wife to convince her cousins to sell you the share too."

"Her cousins? Kang San Hao and Kang San Hai?" Bao Tu's breathing quickened. The share that those two brothers hold worth 40%, which meant that he could become the biggest shareholder once he got them. And if he could get a bit more from Yu Xin's family members, he could practically get unlimited supply of diamonds.

It meant money!

"Yes."

"How do I know that you're not lying."

"Just call your woman. I'm sure she'll tell you that Yu Yan's relationship with her cousins are good."

Bao Tu was still skeptical, but he took out his phone and dialed Yu Xin. The party was not supposed to be over yet or even if many of them had already returned, the family members would still stay over for some interaction.

"Bao Tu?" Yu Xin's voice was coquettish.

There was a smile on the corner of Bao Tu's lips when he heard his woman's loving voice. "Hmm."

"Are you done with work?"

"I'm almost done. How's the party?"

"It's good." Yu Xin smiled then she turned around and her face darkened upon seeing her two cousins. They were not exactly friendly to her and often preferred to stay close to her sister.

"Eh? Yu Yan have returned back?" Kang San Hai's voice entered the phone. He sounded aggrieved. "I still want her to tell me about the present she chooses to you, Mother."

Xiao Han Yu looked at her son with bewilderment. Didn't Yu Yan tell him first that she would be going back. However, she noticed that Kang San Hai's line of sight was looking at Yu Xin and realized that her son was up to something.

"Yes, she's planning to rest because she had to work again."

"Tsk, why should she work so much? If she wants to, I'll just give her some money so she can spend… ouch! Brother, what are you doing?"

"Idiot."

"Brother!"

Yu Xin had moved away from the two siblings, but the conversation from them could be heard even from the phone. She silently cursed her cousins to be so noisy. "Sorry, my cousins are noisy."

"It's fine. Is the party not over yet?"

"Hmm, most of the guests have returned. Sorry that I can't secure an invitation for you, Bao Tu."

"It's fine." Bao Tu could feel his heart bleeding when he said the sentences. He paused for a while. "Your sister comes?"

"Yes. She came with her beggar husband." Yu Xin's tone turned strange when she heard that Bao Tu was asking about Yu Yan. "Why are you asking about this?"

"Did she make things difficult to you?"

"Yes, she…."

Long Ying listened with impassive expression as Yu Xin exaggerated the event. He sneered internally because he knew that it was Kang Mao Lan and Yu Xin who were trying to create trouble for his wife. But of course, Bao Tu would rather believe his woman rather than a stranger. 

After talking a bit more, Bao Tu knew that Long Ying was truly present there and even talked to some businessmen. Yu Xin didn't pay much attention to him, but she did see him walking around a few times. 

"So, what do you think, CEO Bao?"
