Chapter 135 - I’m Sorry

Inside the hut, Yu Yan was struggling to release herself. The men didn't intend to kill her as she knew that they could already do that in the mall back then. They were carrying guns and yet they took her away.

Her body was hurt as she was thrown to the ground just now and got beaten a bit on the capture process and on the way. These people didn't even hesitate to hit her even if she was Long Ying's wife. Even if she was cooperating, they kept on beating her just to vent up their anger.

By now, Yu Yan knew that her entire body was battered up. There were countless bruises from the time they beat her up inside the van while cursing. She couldn't hear what they were saying perfectly, but she could guess that they were venting their hatred. 

However, her eyes were still glaring at the people in front of her without any hesitation.

"Is this woman the right one?"

"Yes, he's that Dragon Clan's woman." The man spat out. He looked at Yu Yan and sneered silently. "To think that such a ruthless man could have a pretty woman as his wife. He must have used up his entire life's luck."

"Well, good thing she's just a small pawn. We can get her easily and use her to threaten the Dragon Clan." The second man looked back. "Now, Long Shao Huai will not dare to treat us lightly anymore."

"Yes."

Long Shao Huai?

Yu Yan had thought that they were Dragon Clan's enemies but as it turned out, they were aiming at her because of Long Shao Huai. Knowing that accursed father of Long Ying, she knew that he would not care even if she was turned into mincemeat and no longer recognizable.

That cold blooded man never cared for his son nor his daughter in law.

"Hey, hold her and then call him now and say that…"

Thud!

At this time, Yu Yan moved forwards. The knot in her wrist was undone. It was a small trick that she had learned from Long Ying during their pass time since it might come in handy. A small knife was held between her hand as she lunged forward, attempting to stab the person near her.

Slash!

"Gah! What in the world…"

Kick!

The man moved faster and the knife pierced through his sides. His eyes turned cold as he raised his leg and kicked Yu Yan to the back.

Bang!

"Gah!"

*cough* *cough*

Crashing onto the wall, Yu Yan felt as if her entire body was crushed at that instant. Tears welled up on the corner of her eyes as she tried to keep her consciousness, looking at the group of men in front of her. However, she noticed that one of them had stood before her and his legs came to her once more.

Kick!

"Damn this woman! Did you not check on her before, huh…?"

BANG! PRANG!

The man couldn't even finish his words when a bullet suddenly pierced through his forehead. The other men were stunned but they moved quickly towards the woman on the ground, intending to make her their shield.

BANG! Prang! Stab! Stab!

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

"All clean, Boss!" San Xia jumped into the room through the broken window. Her right hand held several knives while her left hand held a hand gun. 

The second man couldn't move and he looked back. To his horror, his legs were cut cleanly. That woman had used her thrown knife to slice his legs into two. He had lost his ability to walk.

The third man and the fourth man were killed instantly by the bullets that San Xia and Long Ying had shot. The fifth man was trying to get away but he was immediately caught. 

Long Ying burst in. His right hand was holding the gun while his eyes were filled with worry. "Tell An Luo to clean up the rest of the men scattered in the area."

"Yes, Boss!"

An Luo, who was outside, immediately moved along with the other subordinates to clean up the area. There were still a lot of people around the place that was supposed to be guarding the area. However, Long Ying and his men had slipped inside when they came here just now.

It was only after they had assured of Yu Yan's safety would they begin to clean up the mess.

"Yan'er," Long Ying called out, crouching near his woman. His hands were trembling as he didn't know how Yu Yan was.

Yu Yan opened her eyes. What greeted her was Long Ying, who stood there with worry in his eyes. His right hand was still holding onto the gun while his left hand paused midair between her and him. It was clear that he was hesitant to move forward and grabbed her like he usually does.

Looking behind him, Yu Yan could see that the men who caught her had died. They didn't look like they could even put up a resistance when Long Ying shot them down. She raised her head and looked straight at Long Ying.

"I….I'm sorry." Long Ying felt even more guilty.

When he told her that he would take her with him, he had promised Yu Yan that he would never let her get hurt. But now, she was in this place, kidnapped by some people whom his accursed father offended and didn't even inform him beforehand. If only it was informed to him, he would have taken more measures to protect Yu Yan.

Looking at his hand, he felt that he had no right to stay by Yu Yan. If he only kept on making her life in danger because of him, how could he make her happy? His inner turmoil stopped him from reaching out to Yu Yan even though he wanted to hug her and appease her right at this moment.

Yu Yan noticed Long Ying's inner turmoil and propped her hurting body. She lunged forward with all of her power and hugged Long Ying.

"It's okay…"

"I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault," Yu Yan muttered, ignoring the pain in her stomach and back. "Bring me to hospital now and I'll forgive you completely. If you dare to leave me when I wake up…. I'll post all of the photos of you and me from our high school until our marriage to social media."

Long Ying was stunned and grabbed Yu Yan once more. It was then he realized that her back was coated in blood. His eyes turned cold. "Call the ambulance here!"

"Yes, Boss!"

He looked at Yu Yan in his arms and gritted his teeth. She had to be fine…

Yu Yan was taken to the hospital while the entire place was razed by Dragon Clan. The authorities tried to question them but the Dragon Clan merely gave some superficial reasons. Of course, it didn't stop them from having to answer some legal problems that was settled after some time.

The group's location was bombed by Long Ying after he asked for another explosive from Han Kuai. It created sensation as many news reports were saying that the Capital City had suddenly turned unsafe. As the result, there was huge migration of people who were unaware of the background story to get out of the Capital City until things were safe.

Some news report only reported that there was some failure in research and that it was not dangerous. However, it still pushed some people to be wondering just what was happening in the Capital City.

Thankfully, the news died down after a few days.

In the hospital, Long Ying was waiting for Yu Yan in her ward. The doctor told her that there were a lot of bruises on her back and stomach because she was being beaten up, but it was not life threatening. At the same time, she was unconscious because her head was hit and it gave her light concussion.

Based on the CT-scan, there was no wounds inside but she might have fallen into coma due to the shock. In a few hours' time, she should wake up.

"Boss, Han Kuai is here for a visit."

"I'll come out." Long Ying walked out of the ward. His eyes were bloodshot as he couldn't sleep last night and continued to accompany Yu Yan while arranging his men to take care of that group. He would not let even a single one of them alive in this world. 

Walking out of the door, he saw Han Kuai leaned on the wall. The latter raised his head when he saw Long Ying walked out. "You scare me greatly when you suddenly ask for that thing. Did you finish them off?"

"Did you not watch the news?"

"I didn't but I guess it work well. You know, I can just teach you how to make the more complicated ones that can pass through the security rather than you asking me to make from time to time if you need a lot." Han Kuai passed a look at Long Ying, waiting for the man's opinion.

"No." Long Ying shook his head. "I already know some of the simple ones with chemicals but if I have to start learning again from scratch, I won't be able to do it."

"How about if I just teach her?"

Seeing the cold gaze from his friend, Han Kuai was exasperated. "You don't plan on hiding the entire matter from her forever, do you? I'm sure that she'll ask for you to let her participate once she wakes up if she really do want to stand by your side in this part of the world."
