Thinking of it all, she felt pretty discouraged. Kaili sighed and exhaled it roughly.
Cara could clearly see the sadness and worry in her best friend's heart. She also patted Kaili's shoulder. Her head leaned on Kaili's right shoulder, "Don't think too much about it. Isn't time sometimes can change everything?"
Cara also knew what makes Kaili so upset, what was she afraid of, this friend was losing her confidence!
"Kaili…."
Her green eyes stared at those brown eyes. Cara then slowly opened her mouth, "Kaili, why are you so insecure? I really don't like it! You are so beautiful, so skilled. We can't master everything. Moreover, we have a limited time with only two hands. You who look down on yourself are indirectly protesting your parents as if to ask why I was born in this world. There is a woman who risked her life to give birth to you. There is a man who sweats to meet your needs. It's because you are so precious to them. But look, you don't even know how to be grateful!"
Instantly, Kaili was struck by lightning! Right, how could she not think from his parents' side? She was so ungrateful!
"I-" Just as Kaili was about to continue her words, her phone rang for the umpteenth time, and it was still from the same caller, Dexter.
"Your husband has called many times since earlier, pick it up! He must be really worried," Cara suggested.
Kaili stared at her mobile phone for a while. In the next second, she shifted the red icon, she rejected the call. After that, she turned her mobile phone off.
"Why did you turn off your phone?" Cara couldn't understand Kaili.
"Hehehe… don't we want to party until we get drunk?" Kaili blinked her eyes then took a sip of her wine.
"Kaili, you always wonder, don't you, is your husband's Dexter is really the president of GBK?"
"I wanted to forget about it but you keep bringing it up!"
"I have a way to solve all the riddles of your life."
Kaili looked at Cara probingly, "Say it!"
"Why don't you just go to the GBK company and make sure there? Easy peasy, isn't it? Moreover, you work in advertising, of course, you have a reason to come there."
Kaili's eyes immediately lit up, Cara's suggestion was indeed reasonable. Why didn't she think of it that way? Kaili just laughed at her own stupidity!

Meanwhile, Dexter, who had been trying to contact her ever since, suddenly felt annoyed and worried at the same time after Kaili's mobile phone was suddenly off.
Luckily, he had installed a location tracker linked to his mobile phone from Kaili's phone, so now he could easily find out his wife's location. Even though now his wife's phone was not active, but earlier he had seen Kaili's location, since 7 o'clock she had not moved from the bar. Now he was on his way to that location.
It's already 10 pm and Kaili still wasn't home. Thinking of Kaili being at the bar for three hours, his heart was also a little uneasy. He worried a lot, especially about Kaili's low tolerance for alcohol, besides that she still had an allergy to the basic ingredients of alcohol. What if the spoiled woman forgot about her allergies and drank alcohol without looking at the ingredients?
Dexter shuddered, remembering the last time she had an allergy. He worried to death!
"What happens with you, Kaili? Why did you go to a bar?" Dexter also remembered his wife's strange behavior all this morning. He wondered, did it have anything to do with what she had asked this morning?
Not long after, he arrived at the bar.
When he arrived there, Dexter already found Kaili who was half-conscious. The woman rested her head on the table as she continued to grumble. While Cara, who was still conscious, gasped when she saw Dexter's presence there.
Dexter immediately checked the type of alcohol on the women's table and studied the composition. Fortunately, it didn't have rye in it. Only then could Dexter breathe a sigh of relief because if Kaili drank alcohol-containing rye, one could imagine that this woman would end up in the hospital.
"Uh, Doctor Dexter, hi!" Cara was a little awkward saying hello because she was the one who made Kaili drunk.
"Miss Cara, I will bring Kaili home. I will ask my friend to take you home." After all, Cara was a woman, he couldn't let her come home drunk alone, especially since this woman was his wife's best friend, how could Dexter have the heart.
"Uh, no need, no need." Cara quickly refused Dexter's offer. "I can go home and still be able to drive myself. You just take Kaili home." She smiled.
Kaili assessed Cara and indeed it seemed that the woman was still fine.
"Are you sure, Miss Cara?" Dexter confirmed.
"Of course! Don't worry, I brought my car here." Cara answered confidently.
"Hmph, fine. You don't have to worry about Kaili's car, I'll ask my friend to take care of it. Well, we'll take our leave." Dexter carried Kaili out of there.
Kaili was not sleeping, she was conscious but under the influence of alcohol. When Dexter arrived, the woman was still cursing. And while in Dexter's arms, she still managed to stroke her husband's face.
"Husband, you are so handsome," she said.
"Why are you so perfect? Tell me, is your love as deep as I love you?"
"Dexter, don't lie to me, okay?"
She kept babbling all the way go to where Dexter's car was parked.
"Kaili, calm down!" He continued to reprimand while gently hitting his wife's hand which started to move everywhere.
"Be a good woman, okay." Dexter kept warning her. It wasn't easy until they arrived at the parking area.
Dexter put Kaili into the front passenger seat, not forgetting to lower the seat a little to make it comfortable to sleep on. Now Kaili had closed her eyes, Her face was already red. It looked like this woman was drunk.
Dexter looked at Kaili with a thousand questions that came to his mind. But in the end, he didn't speak but instead kissed his wife's forehead for a while.
"Kaili, why did you go to the bar? Is there something bothering you? Why don't you tell me? Am I not your husband? The person who is most in charge of your life right now."
Apparently, Dexter's breath as he spoke hit Kaili's red face, so she opened her eyes for a while and closed it again.
Even though she was still under the alcohol influence, she could clearly see the man who was staring at her intensely right now was her husband.
"Dexter… you are so mean!" She cursed her husband with her eyes closed.
Dexter didn't heed Kaili's muttering, that woman really liked to talk nonsense when drunk. After fastening the seat belt and making sure Kaili slept comfortably, Dexter shifted to the driver's seat.
Until they arrived at Sky Garden, Kaili was still babbling with her eyes closed. But what's even more interesting was that almost all that woman said was 'Don't lie to me, don't fool me!'
Dexter worried to death if Kaili was already starting to suspect him as Grizelle said. He was scared right now!
Dexter put Kaili on the bed gently and carefully. After pulling the blanket up to her neck, Dexter now looked at his wife with a complicated look. His strong hands parted the strands of hair that covered the woman's forehead and face. Dexter also stroked Kaili's red cheeks with his fingers.
"Kaili, tell me, what did all your words mean? Why do you look worried about me?" Dexter said quietly. "Did you already know the things I kept secret from you? Which one do you know?" he added.
However, even so, he had made up his mind, that he would tell Kaili everything soon.
His heart hurt so much now seeing Kaili sleeping with a sullen face. Her brows furrowed as if in protest.
Dexter kissed Kaili's forehead, then her left and right cheek, then her lips, saying, "Good night, Mrs. Chiro."
Until the sky fell on the earth, Kaili was the only Lady Chiro in his life! After observing Kaili no longer moving, then Dexter walked to the side of the bed next to Kaili and fell asleep.

The next morning, Kaili woke up and saw Dexter was already dressed up. Even though it was only 5:30 am. Kaili was a little surprised, what was it that made this man tidy and looked like he was getting ready to go to work at this hour? But Kaili didn't want to think about it too deeply. She was still angry right now!
Dexter realized that Kaili was awake, he approached her with big steps.
His hands locked Kaili's sides, "Good morning! Did I disturb your sleep?" he asked gently.
"... ..." Kaili didn't answer.
Dexter did not stop just like that.. He raised his right hand then brushed away the strands of hair around his wife's forehead, then his hand stopped at Kaili's oval chin. In the next second, Dexter pinched Kaili's chin gently, "Did you sleep well last night?"
