Chapter 23 - Why I Married You?!

A trace of emotion was clearly visible in his eyes, forcing his tongue into Kaili's mouth and exploring it!

Shit! Kaili always succeeded in making him give up. He wanted this woman now, but Dexter immediately broke away. He brushed Kaili's face and lips gently with his finger. The kiss lasted only a minute, not long. But managed to make Stella and Richard speechless.

Dexter smirked, "As you can see, it seems that she will be pregnant with my child soon. Are you seriously still thinking about our divorce?"

Kaili had just come back from her shock after being kissed by Dexter's just now, and upon hearing about 'carrying my child', her cheeks blushed. This was such a shame, why Dexter did the nonsense? Was he trying to defend her? Did that mean…. Dexter's like her back? Can Kaili hope?

However, while thinking that, Dexter, who was still lowering his head near Kaili, whispered to her, "Don't think too far! You know exactly why I married you!" then he left.

Kaili, who heard all of Dexter's statements earlier, could only grieve over the man's back who was getting farther away. Her heart was completely broken. At first, she thought, marrying a man she loved for 5 years was a plot twist in her life that God had prepared long ago, but who would have thought this would happen.

Earlier, Kaili defended Dexter in front of her parents as much as she could, but in return, this man said such hurtful words. Her heart was completely torn out. It felt like being cut by a sharp knife. But what could she do?

"Kaili, why are you crying? Are you crying over such a useless man?"

Kaili didn't answer her mother, her soul was still swaying. Her heart went to pieces.

"Kaili, Mama is talking to you. Why are you silent? That man is really having a very bad influence on you! I can't let it be! You must leave him immediately! One week. Mama gives you one week to divorce him!"

"..."

Kaili just kept silent and went straight into her room. She really didn't care about his parents who were currently still in their small living room.

Dexter's words had pricked her heart too much, the more those words echoed in her ears, the more she felt in pain.

Right, this was her fault. This was her sin, and now without shame, she hoped that man would love her after all she had done consciously? Even though there was a reason behind it all, but wasn't she too presumptuous to expect love from a man who used to be insulted by her without feelings?

Meanwhile, Brandy had arrived at Silvia's place. From afar, Silvia was already very happy to see a familiar car approaching her.

She knew, her brother —Dexter — would do anything for her. Even without hesitation leaving his new wife just to help her. Silvia knew that Dexter loved her very much.

"Brother ... finally you come—" Silvia stopped her words as soon as she saw Brandy who came out from the car.

With a sour face, she asked, "Why did you come? Where's Dexter?"

Brandy opened the door, "Miss Silvia, please come in."

"No! Why are you picking me up? Where is brother Dexter?"

"Hmm, you should ask the young master, not to me. I am only carrying out orders." Brandy maintained his polite smile. From the beginning, he had suspected this. All these years working within the Chiro Family, how could he not understand Silvia Zen's spoiled attitude.

"I won't go if it isn't Brother Dexter who picked me up! I will stay here!"

"If you've said so, then what else can I do? I'll leave you here. I've contacted the mechanic, they will arrive in 5 minutes. Please wait here until your car is repaired," Brandy said elegantly. Was it his job to persuade a grown woman? He's an assistant, not a nanny! He wouldn't do that.

"Brandy! You are so annoying!" Silvia snapped at him irritably.

"Sorry Miss Zen, I still have a lot of work to do in the office! You know that the young master rarely comes to the company if it isn't for an emergency! It can't help only depends on the General Manager. It is up to you if you want to be here until your car done. If not, please get in the car and I'll drive you to the hospital."

'Arrgghhhh!'

Silvia stomped her foot and got into the car with a very gloomy face.

"Beautiful but bad temper! No wonder she has wrinkles everywhere!" Brandy sneered softly, but unfortunately, Silvia could hear that.

"What did you say? How dare you tell me wrinkled!" Silvia's eyes were rounded, her brother's assistant was even more like Dexter's.

"Sorry Miss Zen, but what I'm saying is true. You'd better go to the beauty clinic right away, do some treatments that will rejuvenate your skin—"

Brandy had not finished all his words yet when a sharp gaze had filled the rearview mirror. Suddenly he fell silent. How could he ever dare to this woman?
