Chapter 52 - It's About You And Me

Dexter received Kaili's message. He was so happy but when he read the message, his eyes darkened. This woman really wouldn't stop before she could get back at him. She was really not an example of a good wife.

[No problem. When someone is hungry in an arid forest, he will even eat tree branches so he can eat. I won't give up just because the food is too salty.]

"Oh, well, then I'll come with my cooking. Even though it is very unpleasant, please remember the food I brought was my first cooking, so please appreciate it."

Kaili was getting ready to go to Danka hospital.

Just as Kaili was about to order the online taxi, she suddenly felt like a fool. She wanted to go without seeing her condition. She didn't even have a penny, how could she order an online taxi.

Kaili also felt that she was so pathetic. In the past, if she wanted anything, it was easy to get by. Now ... after married her father blocked all of her bank accounts. She didn't work and had absolutely no income.

At times like this, Kaili wanted to burst into tears. Her life now was miserable.

When her hopes were broken, her cell phone rang again. Kaili took her cell phone lazily. She knew it must be Dexter who called her.

"Hello ..." Kaili's voice sounded so weak and helpless. Even though a few minutes ago she was still very excited, she was not expecting her fun changed this fast.

Dexter heard Kaili's weak voice, he felt a little sad. He didn't want to make Kaili feel sad. If he could, he wanted to replace whatever he had to make Kaili happy.

{I just want to say, if you come here, you can use my car. It's in the basement. The key is beside the door.} Dexter's voice was so calm, it could not be heard that he was currently sad because Kaili was sad.

Kaili felt that she had just got a miracle. She could still go to the hospital where Dexter works without having to think about the cost of an online taxi. However, she also seemed to remember something. Kaili frowned and asked, "Your car? Then how did you go to work if your car was here?"

{"I had an emergency patient. So the patient's family members came to pick me up. I don't understand either but when I was outside, they just arrived and I went with them."}

Kaili was not interested in Dexter's reason. She was more interested in having lunch alone with him.

"Okay, wait for me to come. We're going to have lunch." Kaili disconnected the phone call and hurried away.

"Aunt Inandi, I will go to have lunch with Dexter. Bye! "

Kaili didn't wait for aunt Inandi's answer. She left with a happy heart.

"Brother ... Good morning."

Silvia entered Dexter's room as usual without knocking on the door first.

Dexter was used to Silvia's sudden presence. "Morning, Silvia ..."

"Brother, I was cooking, eat it." Silvia put down the lunch she was carrying.

"Have you eaten?" Dexter asked back.

Silvia's eyes lit up, "Do you want us to have lunch together?"

Firmly, Dexter said, "No. I mean, eat this. Kaili is already on the way to bring my lunch."

Silvia's world collapsed instantly and fell on her viciously. This reality again ... She really couldn't get away from her.

Silvia's long legs walked closer into Dexter's room. Her expression was so cold that it was hard to tell what was on her mind right now. Her steps were limp, her mouth opened but no words were spoken.

Dexter frowned at the look of Silvia's current expression.

"What is wrong?" he asked lovingly. He really cherished this woman. For him, she was his little brother.

"Let's talk!" Silvia walked closer to Dexter.

Dexter was even more worried, "What's wrong?"

Silvia stared into the depths of Dexter's black eyes. She was lulled for a moment. Dexter's gaze was like a calm deep well, making her drift away. The feeling lasted only for a moment. She returned to her current state, remembering her wounded heart, "Don't you feel that there is something to talk about between us?"

Dexter still didn't understand the direction of Silvia's words, which he knew, he was sad to see Silvia's expression that was so hurt, "Via, what's wrong? Tell me, what happened?" Dexter grabbed her shoulders.

Via was Silvia's childhood nickname. Dexter gave that nickname. According to him, 'Silvia' was too long to be called, let it be 'Via', so it was shorter like her cute self.

Dexter hadn't called her that in a long time. Silvia often fantasized when would Dexter call her back with the special nickname he made? How did it feel when Dexter, who was now a great man, called her with such a cute nickname? Silvia even expected that it would be wonderful to hear Dexter's sexy voice calling her like that.

It was true. Everything was according to her expectations. It was just that the moment was not right. Silvia was unhappy hearing it. It instead added sorrow to her heart.

"Yes, a lot of things have happened, and I think we need to talk about it." Silvia continued to stare at Dexter as if to show her vulnerability to the man in front of her now.

"It's about you and me!"

Speaking up to this point, Dexter had understood Silvia's intentions, but he would still await her next words. He also realized that he had done a lot of wrong things to Silvia but it couldn't be helped. Love… was not something that could be forced. Even forced love wouldn't end happily. This was old advice!

"You married another woman without making our relationship clear? Don't you think you are too much? Isn't there a word you want to say?" Silvia's eyes turned red. It seemed that this woman who always looked cold and arrogant was holding back tears.

"Silvia…" Dexter held her shoulders. "I-"
