Originally, he wasn’t tired, but by the end of the examination, he was exhausted from long periods of going back and forth for the examinations. Kang Xing Luo returned to the ward to rest, and it was not long after that the doctor came in with the results to explain and went over matters that needed attention.

“There’s no major problem with your body. However, it’s better not to be discharged for the time being. I Will formulate physical therapy and speech therapy plans for you. Flipping to the author’s biography page. The author did not have a picture as their profile picture, instead it was a picture of a comical tiny mustache with a red background. The following introduction only had one sentence written there;

Kang Xing Luo chuckled all of a sudden and asked, “Does this author have any other books?”

These words might sound sad at first, however, after thinking about it carefully his voice was full of concern. Kang Xing Luo smiled, closed his eyes and fell asleep.

It was already midnight by the time he woke up. The room was pitch black, he didn’t know when Li Hong Ming turned off the lights.

Xing Luo trembled when he felt someone touching his face and immediately opened his eyes.

There was a robust figure standing motionless in front of his bed. Caught off guard and frightened by the dark shadow, Kang Xing Luo turned on his phone’s light by reflex. Shaken by the unexpected pair of green glowing eyes on the shadow’s face, Kang Xing Luo couldn’t help but turn his head aside.

How are these eyes…..

They are practically laser beams.

A man’s voice rang in the air, “Are you okay?”

Kang Xing Luo answered, “Y-Yeah I’m okay, you’re here.”

How could he not know who it was after hearing his voice? But the weird thing was, he was clearly waiting for Xiao Shizi, however, now that Kang Lai Yin was actually here, Kang Xing Luo instead felt uneasy and extremely uncomfortable.

Kang Lai Yin, “Let me go up.”

Up? Up where? Kang Xing Luo still didn’t understand the meaning of it, but he had already agreed, “Okay, okay.”

It had nothing to do with the reason that he was thinking about — of doting his cat. Kang Xing Luo felt as if he was just unable to reject the man’s request.

Kang Lai Yin placed a hand on the hospital bed, and Kang Xing Luo hastily moved his body to the side leaving an empty space for him. However, Kang Lai Yin did not actually climb up the bed right away.

Then, a ‘rustling’ sound vibrated through the air.

Kang Xing Luo had no idea what could make that sound, only after 5 or 6 seconds did he let out a gasp of surprise.

Kang Lai Yin caught Kang Xing Luo’s hand when he extended his hand out. The man pulled his hand forwards, and Xing Luo felt something warm against the palm of his hands.

…… Sure enough.

Kang Lai Yin was undressing!!

Kang Xing Luo did not know which part of the man’s body he was touching, since his vision was enveloped in darkness. Nevertheless, the palm of his hand was gradually heating up.

The sound of clothes falling to the ground continued incessantly until a while later, the man lifted the quilt and his whole body crawled in.
