12 Goodbye Chu Home

Li Qing's delicate hand erased the bloody evidence and with it that callous expression as she stood up.

She watched the doorway which Chu An had left and laughed, yet it wasn't a laugh of cruelty, it was laughter filled of deprecation. Her face scrunched up as crystalline tears flowed down her cheeks, one with a handprint and one still graceful, creating a heartbreaking scene. Her hand covered her eyes as she mumbled, "stupid, " and dried her cheeks, leaving no trace of that distraught expression and turned to go down the hallways after glancing once more at the doorway. In the far corner of the salon was a dim green light that blended expertly within the plants which captured this entire spectacle.

With a calm visage, Li Qing walked down the familiar yet unfamiliar hallways, passing by a series of brown polished doors until she stopped at a supposedly random door with the same design as the others, however, she knew this was the very room that Li Qing had spent part of her married life. Of course, Chu An had his own home, however, Li Qing had spent quite a lot of time at the Chu family home, so she had a few things here that she wanted to take.

She went straight into the room, which was actually one of the guest rooms in the Chu home and gathered the photo frames with Li Qing and her grandfather and clothes that were gifted to her, however, she didn't pick up anything that was related to Chu family, whether they were given to her or not, that also included the wedding ring which she left on the side table.

She collected everything in her arms and was going to leave the room, but stopped when she was passing the vanity. She looked at herself which was reflected in the mirror, and in it, was a young woman, with her raven hair in a ponytailwith fascinating electric blue eyes framed by thick, long lashes, with smooth pale skin, however, only the left side of her face was smooth and pale, for on the right side, her face was swollen and purple while her lips were cut.

Li Qing scrutinized herself and her lips were about to form a smile, but she stopped. "Ouch," she complains and looked at her face again and snorted, heading for the door once again. She went back to the salon and stuffed what she gathered into her little bags that she had brought from the hospital.

Without a change, she went back the way she came when she had now returned, and went through the front door to see Da Ori and lots of maids outside. It seemed that Chu An and Xuan Sanaa had went along with the ambulance when it transported Qing Luo.

Li Qing pulled out her phone while ignoring the group, but that didn't mean others will disregard her. Da Ori, seeing swollen faced Li Qing chuckled while covering her mouth. "Look at you, if someone saw you they would take you to security! You look like such a street rat! One of you, call Mr. Magnus to collect our guest to drop her out by the guard's booth," Da Ori graciously provided, as if she wasn't a guest herself.

However, Li Qing wasn't going to complain, it saved her the trouble of walking to thesupervisory booth herself. Chu home was situated in a community called 'Měilì Dì Difāng' * which would not allow nondiscript vehicles in. Therefore, Li Qing merely called a taxi to meet her outside the gates of 'Měilì Dì Difāng' while waiting for Mr. Magnus. In a timely fashion, as soon as she finished her call, Mr. Magnus pulled up in the same sedan limousine and she naturally jumped in to the car. Da Ori though, watched her happily, as to her, this was goodbye to the little wench. Also, the fact that Li Qing hadn't refuted her then, made her look at Li Qing in mockery. "Finally, she knows her place," Da Ori thought laughingly as the car drove away, with the one person who was in her daughter's way, Li Qing.

On the other hand, in the car, Mr. Magnus, at first was surprised to see Li Qing's face so purple and swollen, however, he straightened out his mien after a second. Li Qing however, was pleased, she had no reason to return to Chu home again. Today, it was 'goodbye Chu household.'
