Li Qing's smile faded, her eyes still lingering on the birds that flew further and further away. Certainly, she wanted to get where she wanted, and she would do it by hook or by crook. Her first goal? Obviously it was to become rich! Getting revenge on Chu An? He was more of a stepping stone for her! As someone who had a certain degree of wealth before and had grown accustomed to her lifestyle, Li Qing felt strange not having a penny to her name. However, the issue of money was being solved, all she had to do was wait.

Basically, Li Qing didn't place Chu An in her eyes, to her he was too foolish. The previous Li Qing had overheard Qing Luo, who was admonishing Chu An on the phone, tell him that he should not display his affection to Xuan Sanaa out in public as his little uncle was dissatisfied with his conduct as the paparazzi had taken a picture of Chu An and Xuan Sanaa at a restaurant, and let's just say that they weren't keeping their hands to themselves. Chu Wángzí found his nephew foolish to get caught on camera, and further, he thought his nephew to be lacking in morals and discipline.

An uncle like Chu Wángzí was more likely to try to rectify the problem of his nephew, wanting him to learn the consequences of his actions and thus who knows what he might and might not do. However,Chu Wángzí was merely a pawn in her game, and unfortunately, he had practically waltzed right into Li Qing's plans. If he knew it was just an elaborate plan, certainly he would curse himself for feeling even a little bit of compassion for Li Qing.

"Dinner's ready!" Lei Ju called from in the kitchen, thus, Li Qing abandoned her thoughts and went out to join Lei Ju. A smile graced Lei Ju's cute little face when she saw Li Qing and happily set the table. "It's good that the swelling has gone down," she lightly commented when Li Qing grabbed the glasses off of thecounter to set the table. "Mmm, though the cut stings a little now and again." Li Qing and Lei Ju sat at the table and were having a hearty dinner when Li Qing mentioned that she would visit Grandpa Chu, Chu Vien, in the next two days to tell him about the divorce.

Lei Ju paused once she heard this, afterall, Grandpa Chu would not allow Chu An to divorce Li Qing by any means, afterall, he had made a promise to Li Qing's grandfather, thus, one would not be sure if he may assume that Chu An had forced Li Qing to ask him for the divorce. Then too, Grandpa Chu was sick, so he couldn't handle much change in his emotions. "Are you sure? He may be against the divorce," Lei Ju gave her opinion, but Li Qing shook her head, "Older people have a lot of sentimentality, and would always want to keep their promises, but that wouldn't make him bind me to Chu An, as he knows this involves someone's happiness, he just needs proper persuasion."
