"Sometimes crying can heal you so we shouldn't be too shy to cry your grievances"
Severus didn't speak anything after that and Desella felt like she was sitting in pins and needles.
What should I do? I know what I did was wrong but I had no choice. Eshhhhh….I shouldn't have become selfish. What if he sends me back in the book
Desella was engrossed in her worry.
"Desella", Severus shouted.
She instantly shook and looked up to meet his gaze.
"You know that you have messed my plans? This book will aka You have been guiding me for a period of time and even saved me several times so I thought that this time too you would have some tricks up on your sleeves to save me and help me but alas, you cheated me. So how are you going to repay me? Damn, I even rescued you from that trash book and this is how you repay me?", Severus asked feigning hurt.
If noworry was here he would have surely praised Severus since his acting was realistic.
Desella fell for his acting and started blaming herself. He even forgot that she also helped him Several times and even saved him.
"I am sorry Severus for ruining your plans but I actually didn't want to ruin it. When you freed me I had plans for helping you but I couldn't since your visit to the main palace will only put your life in danger. You arent a simple necromancer but a cursed necromancer. The curse that you accumulated isn't short and your destiny to bring curses for you. We need to find a solution to this problem. You probably didn't know but the main palace has been secured by god's blessings and anyone who is cursed can't step inside"
Severus brows raised in interest and he couldn't help but ask," But I have visited that place once and that time too I was heavily cursed. So, why can't I go again?"
"Last time you were cursed but you still had some blessings left so you survived. To be honest, even I am shocked how were you saved since your blessings were measly and you had no chance of survival. You can call it luck or destiny or whatever you wish to say, but it's a miracle that you survived. You practically survived God's wrath."
"Wrath, why? I didn't do anything there?"
"Are you forgetting or do you think that I don't know about it? I know that you copied scrolls from there and the fact that you being a cursed entity stepped inside the place which was blessed by him is enough for you to experience the wrath of him. Do you get it?"
Severus nodded his head in acknowledgment but now he became a little uneasy.
Why did Desella know about scrolls?
She wasn't there when I copied them?
And was this the reason that I fainted in the chamber of secrets?
Several questions swirled in Severus's mind.
Desella saw confusion written all over Severus' face and she chuckled sheepishly.
"If you are thinking about how do I know about it then don't worry, I don't know all your secrets but the only one which you shared. Once you were holding me in sleep when I was in a book form and you sleep talked so I know about it. Don't become anxious."
"Aah..okay", Severus breathe da sigh of relief.
"Desella why did I fainted in the chamber of secrets? Do you any explanation for that?"
"Hmmm...you fainted in the chamber of secret because you were attacked by the wrath of God. You were lucky that your pet Noowrry was powerful who shielded you from Deity's wrath and rescued you from the main palace. Alas...he was heavily injured at that time and I think he is still healing from that injury. It wasn't a small curse Severus and since now you and noworry are related to each other so he also shares half of your curse."
"Huh? Is Noworry injured? But he looks fit and fine?", Severus asked in bafflement.
"I am not talking about outer injuries but inner ones. I don't know how strong is your pet and you sure are very lucky to meet him. He saved you from the curse but his inner spiritual energy has been depleted drastically. It's not easy to heal from curses and it's way more difficult to increase your spiritual energy? You should have noticed that after that incident he should have become slow and weak? Didn't you?"
Severus was struck with reality.
Indeed!
Noworry was becoming weak day by day?
Earlier he thought that noworry was just lazying around but now everything was clear.
Noworry was practically losing his strength.
He fainted in Janes's home. He also was late in protecting Severus and himself when Jane went in maniac mode.
It seems like noworry was injured.
Poor Noworry!
Severus felt guilty.
"Desella help him. I know you would have some knowledge of spiritual energy. Tell me? Tell me how can I save Noworry?", Severus asked quietly.
Desella kept her mouth closed.
"Are you telling me or not? If not then I am going to trap you again.", Severus threatened her when he saw that she had no intention of helping him.
"Uggggg….threat. Why are you threatening me? I was thinking. I told you that I am bound to you and I really don't know how to free myself from you, it's not like I want to but still I don't know how to. To be honest, since you rescued me I am indebted to you but don't you worry. As a will, my sole existence is helping the owner of the book. Now that book is gone but there is the owner so I need to help you otherwise I might fade away into nothingness. See Severus I don't have any choice", Desella spoke bleakly.
The walls were correct.
My freedom wasn't outside but inside. I was free inside. Free to roam inside the room. I had only one work to just live in that cage and help the owner. Daily I lamented on my existence and thought about various ways of running but nothing worked. I can't even die. I tried various suicide attempts but nothing worked. I lived there as a human in a locked room. It was mundane and repetitive but at least I was free. I wasn't obliged to anything except helping the owner but now everything changed.
" Severus, I can't even freely wish now since I have to serve you with whatever way I am capable of. Earlier when I was in a book form, the only way that I needed to serve was to provide information but now although things have changed but my not my duties. I need to serve you with my mind, body, and spell", Desella choked while speaking. She didn't know why she was blabbering this but, she just couldn't hold herself back.
Maybe it was because after a long wait there was finally someone who was listening to her. Talking to her like a normal being. Although he threatened her, she had her trust in Severus and was sure that he won't trap her. It was more like a request then a demand thus she sobbed softly.
