Chapter 87.1 – WuYi’s hidden merit and fame

In fact, Sancheng, where Nie Xiao and Saath were now, was an empty city with only zombies left. While Saath obtained feedback on living people from inferior zombies, Nie Xiao and the others had been deliberately migrating around the city in a controlled manner to delay time.

Sancheng was located beside Fengcheng with mountain ranges acting as a barrier between the two cities. Since the WuYi base was established in Fengcheng, this place had been the first target of the WuYi Base’s search and rescue. After the addition of SMS communication, survivors from all over the country learned of the existence of WuYi Base. The nearest Sancheng survivors left in large numbers and rushed to seek shelter at the WuYi Base. In the end, apart from the remaining supplies, buildings, and zombies, there were no more survivors left in Sancheng.

Otherwise, Nie Xiao and the others wouldn’t have done everything possible to bring Saath here. Any plan that might harm the innocent ordinary survivors had been excluded from the beginning.

At this very moment, in the dilapidated and desolate city, the summer wind blew, causing the hem of everyone’s clothes to fly upwards. Various abilities moved as if dancing in the air.

Looking at the extremely wrathful black-robed man in front of them, the Nie Xiao group’s eyes were awfully frigid. It was because of this man that their homeland Earth was in a terrible situation. Overflowing resentment filled their chests and rolled like torrential waves. They couldn’t wait to make mincemeat out of Saath.

Saath, who was duped and played, was similarly resentful. He glared coldly at the arrogant earthlings and sneered.

“Since ability cores have been delivered to my doorstep, then I’ll accept it!!”

“Saath, just die!!!”

The two sides didn’t talk nonsense; war was on the verge of breaking out. The collision of diverse abilities issued loud noises as if to tear the blue sky apart. The survivors who were far away in WuYi Base couldn’t help but look towards the direction of Sancheng. Bai Yue, Dr. Wei, Wu Wenyu, and the rest who remained at the base had their hearts in a grip, but they could only put their hands together in prayer.

In the battle at Sancheng, wind, lightning, water, fire, metal, ice, sand… all kinds of gorgeous colors intertwined just like in a spectacular movie blockbuster, making people uncontrollably dazzled. It had to be said that Bai Mei indeed didn’t say anything wrong from the start. Saath’s powerful strength backed by piles of different ability cores was truly a bit difficult for all of them to deal with.

Saath was able to resist the attack of the group with ease. He became even more contemptuous in his heart, wanting to quickly solve this group of earthlings so he could continue to search for the whereabouts of the little prince.

“A bunch of arrogant idiots.”

In the face of such unfavorable circumstances, Possier, Sislow, Feng Dao and Feng Qiang no longer concealed their identity and abilities, using all of their strength.

The Alliance’s famous Mermaid race, Vampire race and Qijiang race’s skills and abilities were all displayed.

Saath heard the Mermaid race’s blessing song suddenly ring in his ears, as well as the sound wave attack of the Vampire race. Furthermore, there were the unique combat skills belonging to the Feng family of the Qijian race charging at him. He couldn’t help but be stunned into a trance for a moment.

Nie Xiao’s group immediately seized this opportunity. Their various abilities made a critical strike, knocking Saath flying before heavily hitting the ground. The flat road in the middle of the road instantly shattered like a spider web, sinking into one huge pit.

Saath abruptly spit out blood and returned to his senses. His bloodshot eyes stared rigidly at Possier, Sislow, and company. Immense rancor flashed in his eyes. He hated that he was unable to just drink their blood and eat their flesh.

At this moment, what else does he still not understand? He was thoroughly played with. Not only did Bai Mei make ties with his human compatriots to kill him, the earthlings and people of the Alliance had also already been colluding!

“Aaahhhh!—” Sath couldn’t help raging. His eyes were dyed red like he had turned insane, as attacks from all kinds of abilities simultaneously burst forth from his body, forcing Nie Xiao and the rest to move back up to three feet.

“I want you to die!!!—”

As he thought of how his plan might have been exposed to the little prince and that the little prince may have recovered completely and escaped back to planet Nemo, Saath’s heart crumbled with anger and unacceptance, for that would mean that all his previous efforts for his new world would be lost.

The next second, Saath was like a lunatic who’d lost his mind. His violent and manic mood swept the Earth. He frantically tried to destroy everything in his extreme rage. He grasped a bloody scimitar in his hand and headed straight towards Nie Xiao, going in for a hack.

“Hand over the little prince!!!” Saath lividly roared.

Nie Xiao swiftly took the hit with a wind shield. The huge force pushed him back until he heavily smashed against the building behind him. The high wall collapsed, bricks fell, rusty steel bars were exposed, and thick dust arose. The corners of Nie Xiao’s mouth suddenly spilt blood.

Because Nie Xiao had the strongest combat power out of everyone, Saath nearly indiscriminately vented all his indignance and mania on him alone, even Bai Mei who betrayed him was not as good of a target to him. As Nie Xiao was the only man present with a fully evolved ability, Saath had every reason to suspect that he had a close relationship with the little prince.

“Boss!!!—”

“Nie Xiao!!—”

Amid everyone’s worries and screams, Nie Xiao stood up from amongst the dust. Ignoring the blood at the corner of his mouth, he leapt directly out of the building through the big hole. He raised his hand and stroked his chest pocket, pressing down the worried and restless little beast dumpling in it before continuing to meet Saath’s attacks with a resolute face and chilly gaze.

“Hand over the little prince!—” Saath snarled at Nie Xiao while throwing various abilities on Nie Xiao’s wind shield like a madman. “Tell me where he is!!”

“Wishful thinking!” Nie Xiao sneered with his blood-stained lip corner, eyes cold. He charged toward Saath, one hand resisting the attacks, and the other amassing blue thunder and lightning.

Duan Wenyu and the others also joined the battle. The two sides fought hard, rendering the surrounding buildings a ruined mess and whipping dust around.

The little hamster shrank in Nie Xiao’s pocket. At this moment, he didn’t dare take the initiative to make a move and inconvenience everyone. His small paws were tightly pressed against Nie Xiao’s chest through the cloth, listening to the powerful and reassuring beats of his heart while continuously transferring his power of vitality.

—Daddy, jiayou ya!

Nie Xiao, whose breathing was somewhat unstable after being hit hard by Saath, immediately felt a surge of warm current pouring into his body, repairing the wound he’d just received, and at the same time, seemingly strengthening the abilities within his body.

As if he heard the little guy’s thoughts, Nie Xiao’s eyes quietly warmed. Then he raised his head and continued to attack Saath with his chilly gaze.

Saath took Nie Xiao’s attack and suddenly discovered in horror that Nie Xiao’s strength got stronger, as if the damage he’d inflicted moments ago didn’t exist at all.

He looked toward the unnoticed Wu Wenqi, Duan Wenyu and Jiang Qiu trio next to them and realized that they also had that faint trend to complete evolution. Their ability cores had somewhat loosened and were on the verge of complete fragmentation and melting. Although Xiao Yan, Ning Feng and the others were not as good as the three who were about to fully evolve, their strength seemed to have improved one step further during the battle.

After fighting for some time, not only did none of them appear defeated, but they also quietly became stronger.

Great anger and frustration immediately filled Saath’s chest. He gritted his teeth and looked at the earthlings in front of him. He couldn’t help letting out a sharp and resentful roar, causing the terrifying coercion power of a zombie king to instantly engulf the earth.

“Repulsive!!!—”

The crystal nucleus in Bai Mei’s brain trembled under the tremendous pressure. He flew through the air and fell fiercely to the ground, spouting a mouthful of blood. Luo Yunhai cried out and rushed toward him in a panic, yelling “Bai Mei”.

In a split second, all the zombies on the entire Earth looked in this direction as they began to stir restlessly and riot.

Seeing this situation, Nie Xiao and the others’ hearts thumped, and they whispered “not good”.

Saath looked down at the kneeling and struggling Bai Mei on the ground, and then looked at Nie Xiao and the rest of the people who broke his plan. The blood-stained corners of his mouth curled up, his eyes suffused with ruthlessness and bloodthirst, and his throat issued an unbridled, wanton laugh.

If it was in the other environments in the universe, Saath couldn’t really guarantee that he would be able to defeat Nie Xiao, Jiang Qiu and company, whose strength was continuously growing, by relying on himself alone. However, they were currently on Earth where he possessed a unique advantage.

In this place that had been invaded by the virus, all the zombies became his help. He had a natural zombie army that was obedient and loyal to him.

Here, he would never lose because of the discrepancy in power like he did to AnYi, Duke Seidon and their group before. He now had many soldiers, and the scene of him fleeing would never happen again. Not to mention that except for Nie Xiao, the abilities of the others have not yet fully evolved and they have not yet reached the level of AnYi, Duke Seidon, and their group; there was also none of the Alliance’s advanced weapons of powerful lethality on Earth.

In this battle, he surely had success within his grasp.

Saath’s eyes seemed to be dipped into poison water as he laughed viciously and crazily, saying, “Dare to break my plan? Then I’ll just bury all of you with the entire planet hahaha!!”

“You’re fucking courting death!!!” Nie Xiao’s eyes were pitch-black with hostility and his voice was extremely freezing. He took the lead and attacked directly in front of Saath. The thunderous lightning in his left hand and the violent wind in his right hand made the clouds between the sky and earth billow and the whole world’s color darken.

The dark clouds turned into heavy rain pouring on everyone. The big raindrops became Duan Wenyu, Xiao Yan, and Possier’s finest weapon.

Saath immediately opened a defensive shield similar to Wu Wenyu around his body, blocking Nie Xiao’s group’s attacks. His lips curved into an evil smile as he spread his arms under the curtain of rain and issued orders to all the zombies on the whole Earth. “My lovely zombie army, go forth! From now on, attack the humans around you and attack all the human bases hahaha!!”

“Ahhhhh– You fucking bastard!!!”

Everyone charged, carrying overflowing animosity and bitterness.

On the ground, Bai Mei was once again forced to spew a mouthful of blood because of the coercive command. His consciousness was struggling alternately between sobriety and confusion. The ineffectiveness of the restorative medicine made him grow pale fangs again as his nails firmly clasped the soil. He looked at Luo Yunhai who was standing beside him, bright red blood-tears of distress spilling out of his eyes. “Hurry…hurry up and kill me! Brother Hai, please…kill me!”

Luo Yunhai burst into tears, trembling so much that he was simply unable to put himself to the task. He could only temporarily wrap Bai Mei’s body with the sand under his feet to imprison him. He painfully shouted as if his heart was being dug out and his bones scraped, “IMPOSSIBLE!!!”

“Aaaahhh! Kill me—” Bai Mei, who was confined in the sand, frantically screamed and tussled. Sanity disappeared in his mind and only bloody red was left in his eyes. Kill, kill every living being in front of you.

Ning Feng, Wu Qingfeng, and the others’ eyes flushed red as they watched this scene, but they were unable to deal with too many thoughts at the moment and could only turn around to help Luo Yunhai imprison Bai Mei. The low-level zombies in the surrounding area were in an uproar, besieging them in an endless stream. They were overwhelmed for a while.

Saath, who was watching the humans struggle from mid-air, laughed heartily with great joy. His appearance was disgusting and abnormally distorted. “Hahahaha what a beautiful scene! This is the fate of those who betray me.”
