They were resting before going down for the last time.
In the eight hours, each team needed to go down five times, with team two going one more time than the others, and the same with team one in the next eight hours.
Right than it was team two fighting down below, after which will be Dan's team, team four, than team six and finally team two before they go to sleep, and teams one, three, and five taking control.
Alexander and the two hunters with him, left Dan's group somehow before when they saw that they were able to handle the insects themselves, and went to rest because they still had to help the people from team one fight.
Dan's group didn't really feel much different without them there, they did need their help in the beginning as they weren't used to fighting those insects, but with time passing and them standing face to face against them, they found it quite easy.
The insects right than were strong and even Dan's group would got injured if they weren't careful.
"Replacement." The leader of team two shouted.
Dan looked at the other before saying:
"Ok let's go down."
They than replaced the people from team two.
As soon as people from team two entered the gate, Dan and his teammates started feeling the pressure, the insects were stronger than before and many of them had some special ability.
Like the insects which kept on throwing acid at them, and the other one which released a foul smell when it got attacked or killed, even though it was weak, or the wasp like insect which kept on releasing poisonous needles, and many others like that.
Nero who was good at long ranged attacks, kept on releasing spears at the wasp-like insect, and in his fourth attack, after he got used to its maneuvers he was able to shoot it down.
Dealing with the others was easy, the hardest was the stinky bug, it was actually weak but it's smell was simply horrifying making the group suffer, espicaily Nero who had such a strong sense of smell, at that point Dan and the others were glad they didn't have his ability.
Execpt that, nothing major happened before their time was up.
They were given a small house next to the wall, just like all the other teams, so they can come as fast as possible if some unforeseen event happened while they were resting.
"Keep watch while you're asleep, if something really strong is coming you should wake us as soon as possible." Dan told Nero with a serious expression.
Nero just nodded, he knew what to do.
Dan's group knew that After waking up They would face the hardest period of the whole night, so they tried to rest before that so they would be ready when the time comes.
They had something to eat and some quick baths before heading to sleep.
When he reappeared it was in the shore where they first teleported from the ship.
He looked at the far away light which was coming from the ship before teleporting toward it.
Appearing inside the dinning room, he saw Randy setting there just like the first time.
Randy stood up and said while smiling:
"You seem good, how are the others?"
They had already decided that Robin would teleport to the ship to make sure that nothing unforeseen happened in top of it, and also pass the state of the people in the village, so both side can understand the other, and so they don't worry about each other.
"Fortunately, we are all good till now, the others are resting at the moment, they will probably fall asleep after I return and affirm that the ship is good and nothing happened... Nothing happened right?"
"Yes, listening to Dan's orders, we moved far away from the shore, and till now we didn't meet any danger." Randy answered while nodding.
Than he added:
"But how was the fight, can you handle what's coming?"
"The first few hours were easy, and even though the last few had been a little bit hard, it had been more annoying than dangerous, especially with those stinky bugs and the likes, but I think that it would be somehow dangerous in the coming eight hours after we wake up, Alexander said that it would be the most dangerous period after all... Alexander is the village's best hunter."
"As I said, things are good on our side so just return and rest so you can be ready for what's coming." Randy said.
Robin nodded his head wished Randy good night, before teleporting away.
When he appeared again in the house, he coughed two times, loud enough for all the others to hear him, which was their single for "everyhting's good".
Nothing changed inside the house, non of them even moved but he knew that they got it.
He returned to his bad and started falling asleep.
Around seven hours later and before half an hour of the end their rest, Dan's team woke up.
They got ready, and while they were eating something to fill their stomachs Dan turned to Nero and asked:
"No strong insects appeared?"
"There have been some insects like the Armored Ant and the Blood Thrower, nothing stronger than that, but the alarming thing is that they are becoming more frequent, I think that it won't take long before we have to deal with ten or more of those at the same time." Nero said.
When he heard that, Dan wondered how the village was able to hold on till than, Armored Ant and other insects like it were hard to deal with for the villagers even though they weren't that hard for him and his group.
For a small village like that, dealing with ten insects at the level of an Armored Ant at the same time was above the limit of what they could take.
Dan stayed silent for a while before asking:
"How about casualties, did we lose any?"
As he said that, the others all stopped what they were doing and turned their heads to Nero.
"We lost three people, they died around an hour ago, it was because of some type of jumping spider, fortunately they found and dealt with it soon and it didn't have time to hurt anyone else."
The house turned silent, Dan just sighed and said:
"Ok everyone, let's get going." They than moved to the wall.
Insects usually would start getting less and less after twenty four hours of the sun setting, so Dan's group had to hold on for the last dangerous eight hours.
They and the other two teams wouldn't do that alone as the members of the other three teams would join them after resting for four hours or so because the last hours after that were the hardest.
When they reached the walls Dan's team were able to feel the oppressing pressure.
Losing three people made all the villagers nervous, because from the last few times, the understood that as soon as casualties starts appearing, more and more would follow.
Those with loved ones or family members in the teams had pale faces while they clinched their hands, some of them hadn't even slept the whole night from worry.
After team one finished their last turn they got replaced by team two and headed inside, it was than that Dan saw Alexander.
He thought that he would just help team one for the first few hours before but it seemed that he had helped them along with the other two hunters the whole night.
"Hey Alexander how is it?" He asked.
"As we expected it is harder than ever right now, and we haven't even reached the most dangerous period of the night yet." Alexander sighed, it was quite apparent that he and the other two with him were tired, and that's to be understood because till than those three were the ones who had the least amount of rest among all the fighters.
He and the other two had some wounds here and there but they still seemed a little bit better than the others with them.
"You go rest, we will be able to handle what's coming ourselves." Dan said while looking at him and the other two.
"But... Sigh, ok..." Alexander wanted to say something but he changed his mind and just sighed.
He and the other two were actually going to stop and rest, but after those three people died and he saw the fear on the faces of those in team one, he just couldn't do that, and neither could the other two.
But what they did put Dan's team in a disadvantage, he thought that no matter how strong that would got, dealing with the insects appearing than was going to be dangerous.
"I will come to help after three hours." That all what he could say, he decided to only rest for three hours instead of the four the others would have.
The other two with him also nodded, showing that they would do the same.
Dan just nodded, and he appreciated that.
They waited for their turn to go down while watching the others down below.
Soon it was their turn, and they went down replacing team two.

"So there's a chance the war will stop?" A good looking middle aged said man to the young man setting on the seat of honor there.
"Yes there is, but till now it's just a chance, we can't put our bets on a simple possibility, if the war is still going to keep on going we will be in a problem." Another young man who had a pair of blue eyes seemed as if he understood what the middle aged man was meaning with his question and interrupted.
The middle aged man wanted to say something but the young man in the seat of honor coughed and he stopped himself.
