“Ehem…” Kate suddenly coughed out loud as Kaleen… or should I say, Leisha, snapped back to reality, looking around us as she asked, “What’s wrong…?” before Kate pointed at her face which confused her greatly as she took out a mirror before freezing in place.
“Ah! Sandwich girl!” Flora suddenly shouted after scanning Leisha who was frozen like an icicle. I almost chuckled at the nickname she gave, sandwich girl… HAHAHAHA!
“Uh… what should I say…?” Leisha mumbled as she looked at us with a wry smile. As expected of the Witch of Isle though, she managed to disguise herself through some kind of witchery… I wonder if that appearance of her as well is another layer of disguise?
“Well, you don’t have to say anything…” Mana said as she looked at me with a creepy smile as Flora hopped off from her before running towards Leisha and patting her head as a gentle smile blossomed on Flora’s face like an angel.
“Want some swendwech!?” she tried saying, only to bite her tongue near the end as Leisha giggled a bit while looking at Flora who was like an angel. An adorable creature that no one in this world could match, that is what Flora is!
“Anyway, how about we discard this quest? There doesn’t seem to be any high ogre in this location, rather I think the most reasonable answer would be the quote high ogre quote they saw was just the Justra Cobra,” Kate interrupted as all of us nodded.
Within a few kilometers from here, my mini-map is telling me there is no such opponent that is as strong as a high ogre. A high ogre would have a greater indicator than the Superior Justra Cobra on my mini-map which leads me to believe that the Justra Cobra was actually the ‘High Ogre’ they mentioned.
“I agree, my eyes are also not detecting any presence that is larger than the Justra Cobra within the radius…” Kaleen… or Leisha said as she stood up before looking around as she stopped on me for a second and blushed which looked odd… but I thought nothing of it.
“Well, what about those suspicious two we met?” Mana inquired before Kate and Leisha shook their head.
“We can’t do anything about it, after all, it is not part of our quest. The only thing we could do is send a report to the higher-ups, preferably the Guild Master or perhaps teacher who will then convey our message to the higher nobles like the King or Queen, perhaps the council?” Kaleen… or Leisha said as all of us nodded.
It remains as a fact that we could be arrested if we tried to battle against them without concrete evidence which is why it makes more sense to simply report it to a trusted person such as Aurora who would then convey it to the Queen since, from what I heard the Queen is apparently an acquaintance to her.
“I guess this marks the end of our quest then,” I said before they nodded with one exception, Flora who was looking at me with her eyes shining beautifully green.
“Mwama, Aywumi-ma, what about boar?” she asked as her eyes turned teary before a loud growl echoed throughout the entire forest as all of us stared at her who seems to be hungry for some roasted boar.
“Eeeh… don’t cry, we can buy boar after we finish this…” Mana said as she slowly walked towards Flora who seems to be understanding, walking towards Mana, and hugging her as Mana lifted her up, patting her back.
After a short while of patting Flora, the four of us soon walked back towards the exit, following our tracks out of the forest as we soon reached the exit where a bright sunset came into sight. The sun was like an ice cream melting downward.
“The sunset here is truly wondrous,” I said while staring at the sunset before a hand bumped into mine as I looked at the fault before Mana looked at me with a sigh as I grasped her hand before a cough entered our ears, surprising us as we looked towards the direction before a blushing Leisha could be seen with Kate coughing several times.
“How many times have I told you to not charm other girls…” Mana whispered in an exceptionally low voice as I smiled wryly. As I predicted, the charm only works on people that meet certain conditions like certain cliches.
“It’s not my fault…” I said before she looked at me with a heavy sigh as she turned towards Leisha who seems to have strayed outside of this world for the second time today.
All of a sudden, the sound of a carriage being dragged by a horse echoed from the distance as we turned towards the direction before the carriage that first carried us to the town and also here, came to sight. Running like there was no tomorrow.
“Yeehaaa!” a familiar voice followed as the woman with a cowgirl hat came to sight, speedily reaching our destination before stopping abruptly, drifting to the side as she added, “Hop on! We are headin’ home! Yeehaaa!”
Without hesitation, the four of us along with Flora who was sleeping on Mana’s shoulders entered the compartment of the carriage before the woman patted the horse as it started running towards the sunset as we stared at each other with smiles.
“Anyone up for some beer tonight?” Kate suggested as Mana looked at me.
“Beer sounds nice, though it’s better if we do it in my place since I don’t feel like heading out to eat tonight,” I said with a wry smile as she nodded, patting Leisha’s back for no reason.
“What do you three want to eat for dinner, though?” Mana questioned.
“I’ll take sandwiches, I want to try this mayonnaise and ketchup you mentioned,” Kate responded as Mana nodded before looking at Leisha who was nodding despite her mind being out of this world, she was holding her cheeks weirdly, tilting left and right at times.
“Boaarrrr…” Flora suddenly mumbled as she slept on Mana’s shoulders, drooling before biting onto Mana’s shoulders as she looked at me surprised.
“It seems like ya’ll have a glutton,” the woman at the front laughed loudly as both Mana and I smiled satirically, looking at Flora who seems to be super hungry for roasted boar…. I guess she might go on a tantrum if we won’t give her roasted boar for dinner.
“Well… it’s Flora, after all…” Mana said, patting Flora’s back as both Kate and I nodded at the same time, staring at her who was happily sleeping while biting Mana’s shoulders with her tiny, soft teeth as the carriage ran towards the sunset before a weird window appeared in front of me.

The window sounded happy for some reason but for me, it really wasn’t as Mana looked at the window with an indescribable look on her face as she looked at me with a wry smile. I bet you a hundred dollars… this is something that stupid Goddess rigged again… you piece of damned potatoes!
