After our short staring session, the two of us soon took a bath together before coming out fresh in new clothes. We weren’t heading for a quest today as such we are dressed in our outing clothes, Mana wore a blue velvet skirt with a white blouse that had a black ribbon.
On the other side, I wore a simple one-piece dress that was white in color. The dress looked modern in comparison to most people’s clothing since they were custom-made from a luxury shop with the help of my drawing that was… well… trash but the seamstress still managed to create it though in exchange for the right to use the blueprint… or was it even a blueprint… felt like a child’s drawing.
“You look so beautiful in that,” I said as she twirled for a second, staring at the mirror with a blushed face. It has been a long time since we wore these dresses after commissioning them from the shop, I feel like drawing more dresses from our world and having that seamstress make more especially after seeing Mana dressed so beautifully.
“You are far beautiful, though…” she replied while glancing at me as I smiled before out of the blue, the door slammed open as a flying Flora appeared, her face looked as if she had just woken up as a loud growl echoed throughout the room.
“Mwama!!!” she cried as Mana caught her in a flash, hugging her tightly as Flora dug her head onto her shoulders. It seemed more like she missed Mana a lot after a single night of not being together.
“There, there. Are you hungry?” Mana inquired, patting Flora’s back as she nodded before looking at Mana for a second as she asked while looking at Mana’s shoulder.
“Mwama, are you injured?”
Immediately, embarrassment filled both of our faces as Mana quickly pinched Flora’s cheeks as she replied in a bit panicky voice, “No. I am not injured,” before Flora tilted her head with visible confusion all over her face.
“Anyway, where are Kate and Kaleen?” Mana asked before Flora pointed at the door as both Kate and Kaleen… or Leisha… I should probably ask which name to call her, came to sight. The two were dressed beautifully in their own ways, Kate wore jeans while Leisha… or Kaleen wore a purple dress, the two had wry smiles on their face.
“Was Flora a trouble to the two of you?” Mana inquired as she walked towards them, carrying Flora as the two looked at Flora for a second, shivering before shaking their heads. I wonder what kind of mess Flora did to the two of them.
“Did you have fun last night, Flora?” Mana looked at Flora and questioned before Flora’s eyes shined as she nodded like crazy as she answers Mana in an adorable, soft voice that screams cuteness but to both Kate and Leisha, it seems different as the two shivered.
“I had fun! The three of us played toys!”
Unable to resist the temptation of curiosity, I decided to ask Flora, “What kind of toys did you play together?” before she looked up at the ceiling while counting her fingers.
“We played house, pillow fight, and cards!” she iterated before Kate and Leisha averted their gaze as Flora tilted her head looking at them before a bright smile blossomed on her face. Her figure radiated an aura of incredibly adorable happiness.
It seems like they made a mess last night, huh… Flora usually doesn’t play that much with us, she would usually ask Mana to sing her a lullaby or read her a story before sleeping. Well, then again, it was rare for her to find someone to play within the house.
“I see, do you two have any plans for today?” Mana asked while looking at both Leisha and Kate who shook their heads.
“We planned on going window shopping for today,” Kate answered as Leisha looked at me for a second as if analyzing my figure before averting away, hiding a bit on the door as Kate dragged her back with a creepy smile on her face.
“That actually sounds interesting, where are you two going to look around?” I asked before Kate answered while whistling a bit as she looked at Kaleen with a smirk.
“We actually didn’t plan where to look around…”
Window shopping without planning is normal back in my world, I actually used to do that a lot along with none other than myself… I would admire the beauty of the dresses, pieces of jewelry and even get tempted with food.
“Well, our original plan today was to send an invitation letter to Flora’s friends for tomorrow, but I guess we could look around together if the two of you don’t mind. The shopping center should be close with the postal,” Mana said before Kate shook her hands.
“We don’t mind at all, rather the more, the merrier~!” Kate answered before Mana nodded as she looked at me for a second, almost as if telling me something before she sighed.
“Actually, how about we split up for a while. I still have something to buy at the shopping center and it would be better if someone sends the letter to the postal office, is that fine?” Mana suggested as her eyes stared at Kate as if the two were communicating through telepathy.
“That’s fine~! I also planned on buying something near the department area of the shopping center,” Kate answered before the two of them looked at both Leisha… or Kaleen and me.
“Well then, it’s decided. The two of us will go buy our stuff, in the meantime, how about the two of you deliver the letter to the post office since Ayumi is incredibly unreliable with directions. We will meet at the second bell at the entrance of the shopping center, is that fine with the two of you?” Mana said with a creepy smile.
“But…” I was about to refute only to be stared at by the two of them, the room was as if pressurized enough that I couldn’t rebuke, there was no choice from the beginning… “Okay… I’ll do it…” before Mana nodded with a smile.
“Well then, how about we start heading our ways… the postal office shouldn’t take long, I will buy ingredients for tomorrow, well then… bye, bye!” Mana said as she walked out of the room suspiciously, carrying Flora who was supremely confused over the sudden of events.
After she exited the room, she soon pushed Leisha inside before slamming the door as the two of us stared at each other in silence… wait, what just happened… was this some kind of devious plan she setup… but why?
Meanwhile, on the other side, both Mana and Kate sat in the living room as Kate asked, “Are you fine with the two of them being together?” before Mana shook her head, sighing.
“It’s better to have harmony instead…” she replied to Kate while poking Flora’s cheeks, hugging her tightly as a small pout appeared on her cheeks, “I already understood that it’s close to impossible to keep her to myself…”
“I see, well… enough of this mood, how about we head out now?” Kate suggested to Mana who soon nodded as the two of them stood up and walked out of the residence with Flora tilting her head in confusion.
