Chapter 484 - The Plot Continues (III)...

"...Why did you lie to Magari?" Shirone asked while staring at Kuroka's eyes. Kuroka took a deep breath as this was going to be a long chat. For a couple of seconds, she didn't say anything as she didn't know how to start this conversation. 

"...Well, it wasn't a complete lie, not exactly" Kuroka said as she put her hands behind her back and she started to stare towards the sky. "I meant what I told her" Kuroka said and Shirone gave her an unconvinced look. 

"Tell me Shirone, do you think anyone besides Reo would have helped me? I mean clear my name and then help me get your guardianship?" Kuroka asked softly as she stared into her sister's eyes. 

"...I don't know" Shirone said in an unsure tone as she seriously had no idea. Kuroka gave her sister a sympathetic look. 

"No one would have helped me… You see, they didn't have anything to gain by helping me. Right now, Magari or the Youkais are being kind to us, but if I still had my criminal status then they would have tried to put me down instead of helping me" Kuroka explained with a strained smile on her face. 

"You are wrong! Someone might have helped you!!" Shirone defended and Kuroka smiled kindly. 

"They might have, but there is no way to know for sure… I have stopped trusting everyone blindly. Our bastard of a father was also kind when mother was alive" Kuroka said in a bitter tone. Shirone had no idea how to argue with that. 

"Shirone… I have seen way too many betrayals throughout my life and I have seen how Leaders act… and I would never trust a Leader of some Faction. Well, maybe except Lady Hela" Kuroka said with a heavy look on her face. 

Tears started to pool inside Shirone's eyes, she couldn't even fathom what her sister had been through. "You are still young and I don't want you to experience the things I had experienced. That is one of the reasons why I have accepted Reo's offer" Kuroka said with a grin and ruffled Shirone's hair. 

Shirone sniffed loudly and hugged her sister as the two of them kept walking. Kuroka smiled brightly and slung an arm over her sister's shoulder and pulled her closer. After a few moments of silence, a teasing grin appeared on Kuroka's face. 

"There is another reason why I want to stay at Knox" Kuroka said in a chirpy tone and Shirone immediately looked up to stare at her sister's face. 

"You see… My mating season is about to arrive and I live under the roof of the strongest man in the entire Omniverse!!" Kuroka cheerfully explained and Shirone lit up like a Christmas Tree. Smoke started to come out of her head. 

"It is not all about my mating season, I have come to really like him… I want to have a litter of kittens with him, but I don't know if he would allow someone weak like me into his bed or not" Kuroka finished with a sullen look on her face. 

"...You should give it a try if that is what you want" Shirone muttered with a massive blush on her face. She wanted to refrain from saying anything, but she also wanted to cheer up her sister. 

"Do you know when you are going to go into heat?" After a few minutes of silence, Shirone questioned. Shirone was yet to go into heat, so she hadn't experienced it on her own, but she had been taught everything by the other Nekomatas. 

"Somewhere around a week" Kuroka answered and then she gave her sister a pointed look. "You shouldn't try doing it with anyone" Kuroka said with a serious look on her face and Shirone bristled after hearing her sister's words. 

"Why?" Shirone asked with a blank look on her face. 

"Because you are young!" Kuroka deadpanned. "We start going into heat as soon as our body becomes capable enough to carry a child, but that doesn't mean that you should carry a child…" Kuroka explained in an exasperated tone and Shirone gave her sister another look before she reluctantly nodded her head in understanding. 

Kuroka smiled brightly and ruffled her sister's hair. "Don't worry, I won't stop you after you turn 17" Kuroka explained and once again Shirone blushed and smoke started to come out from her head and ears. 

Kuroka started to giggle after watching her sister's reaction. Her sister was so adorable… 

[POV Reo] 

Hmm… looks like the Hero Faction is going to cease existing after three days. Their deaths aren't going to be a huge loss… Well, Indra might feel really bad, but his feelings are inconsequential. If he really felt so bad, then he shouldn't have allowed the Hero Faction to run amok. 

I shook my head to clear my mind… I didn't want to hear Kuroka making plans about how to get into my pants. I needed to concentrate on what I was doing right now. I knew how Yachiru's mind worked, she already considers me as her husband. So, I need to propose to her too…

If I don't ask her along with the other girls then she would feel bad, but she accepts it just like that and she wouldn't even say anything. Well… she wouldn't say anything, but she might try to cut me down if her sadistic side decides to make an appearance. Anyways… I have finally finished preparing Yachiru's Gemstone…

I decided to go with a black diamond with a reddish tint… I am sure that she is going to cherish the Stone. Now that I was done with the Stone, I decided to start working on her ring. All the rings are going to have the same design. I pulled out a small chunk of Nth Metal from my Storage Space and with that, I finally started to work on it. 

After a minute, I was done. So after putting the Stone in the ring, I decided to lie down and drift around through the endless Space. Now, should I propose all of them at the same time or take them on a short date and then propose them individually? 

After an hour of contemplating I finally decided to propose them individually. That way, I will be able to make it special for all the girls. Hah…!! Now, I need to plan their separate dates. Having a Harem comes with its own problems…
