Chapter 517 - Silence...

[POV Reo]

"Tell me, Ophis… do you want to reclaim your silence?" I asked with a grin on my face, surprising everyone beside Ophis, once again I was disappointed to see that Ophis was still stoic as ever. I really wanted to shock her or surprise her… at least get some reaction out of her, but it was all for the nought.

"Yes, that is the only thing I want" Ophis answered with a blank look on her face. If it was anyone besides Ophis, then I would have been sure that they were being sarcastic, but unfortunately, it seems that Ophis had no idea how to show emotions.

"Do you specifically want the Dimensional Gap or any other place would do?" I asked curiously, and Ophis seemed to be contemplating my offer… At least, I think that she is contemplating my offer. After all, her face is still as inexpressive as ever. Having a conversation with her must be very hard.

"I would have preferred having the Dimensional Gap since that is where I was born, but I can have my silence in a different place then I won't complain" Ophis said and picked up a few cookies from the plate placed in front of her.

"Wait! How do we know that we can trust you?" It was Arthur Pendragon who questioned me.

"You don't, but if I wanted to harm Ophis then I wouldn't have done it in such a roundabout way. I can kill Ophis with a flick of my hand, I don't need any elaborate plans" I said while looking straight into his eyes. Arthur shivered in fear after hearing my words. Bikou and Le Fay immediately turned towards Ophis to get confirmation.

"Can he really do that?!" Bikou asked incredulously.

"Yes… he could kill me, but I would be reborn after some time since I represent a Concept" Ophis answered in a monotone as she continued to nibble on cookies. "But I don't know if I would retain my memories or not" Ophis added and everyone besides Kuroka gulped in fear while looking really worried.

"Yes… I have done some research. You won't remember anything after you are reborn" I added and Ophis gave me a curt nod, but aside from that, she was completely unbothered.

"So, why don't you just go and kill Great Red? That would solve all the problems, right?" Bikou asked, looking confused. I looked at him trying to discern if Bikou was an exception or his whole clan was just as stupid as him.

"Doing that would be disastrous… Great Red might be lurking in the Dimensional Gap, but he is in fact protecting this world from invaders like me… Why do think that I am the only one who decided to grace your World? Well, my lovers are there too, but that is beside the point" I pointed out and it seemed that realization finally dawned on Bikou's face.

"This is the first time I have heard of this" Le Fay whispered in a low tone.

"It is something Great Red isn't going to advertise. After all, he didn't want to give any ideas to people like Rizevim or Cao Cao" I explained with a shrug, and this time, both Arthur and Le Fay nodded their heads in understanding. Kuroka was being Kuroka, so she was listening to what I was saying, but she was completely unbothered by everything I was saying.

"By the way, what happened to Cao Cao? Of course, if you don't mind me asking. There are some rumours flying around that Cao Cao and his group had attacked Yasaka, the leader of Kyoto Youkai Faction and he along with his group was killed by Yachiru Unohana" Arthur asked me in a respectful tone.

"Yes, that rumour is right. Cao Cao and his group had attacked Yasaka and that was the last thing they did. They were killed by Yachiru… Were they your friends?" I asked as I grabbed the cola glass from the table.

"No… No, they weren't exactly my friends. Both my sister and I were part of their group, but later we decided to join Vali's group" Arthur said while shaking his head. He wasn't saddened or anything, but he was slightly uncomfortable since he knew those people. Le Fay placed her hand on Arthur's shoulder, trying to comfort the man.

"...It seems that Vali lost the fight. No surprise there" I revealed while looking in a different direction. Four gasps were heard as Kuroka also perked up after hearing that Vali was defeated.

"Is he alive?" Le Fay asked me in a hopeful tone, she looked almost desperate for a positive answer. Kuroka, Bikou, and Arthur were in similar states.

"He will live. Ddraig took him to Yachiru to get healed" I answered. Le Fay, Arthur, and Bikou paled, but Kuroka released a sigh of relief as she sagged in her chair. This time, Kuroka found herself being the centre of attention since the others were staring at her for an answer. It seemed that Ophis was also waiting for an answer even though she didn't look worried.

"What?!" Kuroka questioned incredulously. "Yachiru-San is the best healer I have ever seen, nya~. She could practically heal you as long as you are alive, nya~ and she doesn't discriminate between her patients, nya~!" Kuroka quickly explained why she was relieved. Finally, the others decided to drop the matter and trust Kuroka's words for now.

"So, where is he now?" Arthur questioned me in a polite tone.

"Right now, he is in Sitri Mansion. If you want, you can't visit him later" I said in a dismissive manner, the whole group beside Ophis sighed in relief.

"Ophis, did you know that Rizevim is planning to release Samael?" I asked and Ophis simply tilted her head with an unreadable expression on her face.

"You mean the Dragon Eater?" Ophis asked and I nodded my head in confirmation. "No, I didn't know that he was planning to release Samael. Using Samael would make it a lot easier to get rid of Great Red" Ophis answered in a monotone. The others kept looking at us with questioning looks on their faces since they had no idea who or what Samael or the Dragon Eater was.

"But you are a Dragon too… or did you forget that?" I asked and Ophis didn't give me an answer. After a few moments of silence, she simply grabbed her juice glass and took a long slurp through the straw.

"But why would he try to hurt me? He works for me?" Ophis questioned and tilted her head. I almost palmed my face after hearing her question. I was right… Ophis is extremely naive.

"No, you might think that he is working for you, but in reality, he isn't. He is simply trying to cause destruction and sow discord" I sighed. From the looks of it, Ophis still looked confused, but she gave me a small nod after a few moments.

"So, Ophis, are you ready to see the place I told you about?" I asked and Ophis quickly nodded her head as she slowly climbed down from her chair. Having that loli body must be really inconvenient. I remember the time when I had to climb up on the chairs too…

Then Ophis turned towards Kuroka. "All of you wait here" Ophis said and I honestly don't mind them staying here. By the way, Ophis thanks for asking my opinion. I thought sarcastically.

"They can accompany us if they want. They won't be having any sort of problems" I quipped from the side.

The others hurriedly stood up with excited looks on their faces. Before anyone could blink, the six of us found ourselves floating in Space. Everything around us was mostly black as there wasn't anything around us. This part of the Omniverse is completely empty, there are no stars, black holes, or any type of mass. This part of the Omniverse is simply… empty.

Though this place is of great significance. This is where I had fought with Ikkagen and everything around us had ceased to exist during the fight. The nearest System to this empty space is the Marvel Multiverse. Apparently, the Marvel Multiverse came to exist because I died in that place.

I am the Leviathan of Destruction, and a whole Multiverse came to exist due to my death…. Pretty ironic…

"So, what do you think about this place?" I asked, looking at Ophis, who was looking around us. Her eyes slightly glowing with interest and excitement… Wow! I was finally able to see some sort of reaction from her.

"Yes, this place is more than adequate!" Ophis said dryly, but everyone noticed that there was a small undertone of excitement in her voice. It was almost negligible, but anyone who knew her for some time would easily notice it. "Are you sure that I can keep this place?" Ophis asked in a monotone, but her eyes were almost desperate.

"Don't worry, you can keep this place. Nothing is going to exist in this place for billions of years and if someone comes here then you need to simply tell them that the Leviathan of Destruction allowed you to stay here" I explained and Ophis nodded her head in understanding.

"Can we go back? I want to meet Vali one last time before I start residing here" Ophis said while looking at me. I simply nodded my head and all of us found ourselves back in our backyard. With that, I have finally dealt with the main powerbase behind Khaos Brigade…
