[VIP Box]
"Who do you think is going to win?" Ororo asked Rumi as both silver-haired battle lovers checked out to participants.
"My bet is on the bespectacled girlie" Rumi said out loud, not bothering about the fact that Former Devil Kings along with parents of all the Young Devils were also present inside the room.
Lord and Lady Agares didn't like how their daughter was being referred to, but they didnt have the guts to say anything out loud, but at the same time, they were also interested to know why Rumi thought that their daughter was going to win.
There were some other families too, who were having similar types of thoughts, but the Glasya-Labolas Family head wasn't pleased with Rumi. He knew his son was a moron, and he was probably going to lose, but shouldn't say that out loud.
"I can't find myself to disagree with you" Ororo added dryly. It has been years since she had been training and sparring with Rumi. She might not be experienced as Rumi when it comes to physical battle, but she could easily understand a lot about people from their body language.
"Is Seekvaira Agares really going to win?" Since Rumi or Ororo didn't bother to lower their voices, Kunou obviously heard them too. So, Kunou decided to ask Reo about his opinion.
"Yes. There are lots of factors in play here… First of all, Seekvaira Agares will have a territorial advantage. She is quite familiar with Amazon Forest or she wouldn't have asked for it. Secondly, she seems to be much more prepared along with her Peerage members, but I can't say the same for the heir of Glasya-Labolas Family" Reo answered the girl's question with a smile.
There were a few more factors in play here, but Reo decided to refrain from mentioning them as they were simply unnecessary. Kunou finally nodded her head in understanding and turned back to stare towards the arena. The others inside the room miss Reo's words and they found that they agreed with Reo's deduction.
The way Seekvaira Agares and her Peerage members carried themselves, it was pretty obvious that they have trained very hard for this Tournament. "Hey, Rumi, fancy having a new student?" Ororo asked and Rumi raised her brows in question.
"You mean her?" Rumi asked pointed towards a Screen focused on Seekvaira Agares.
"Yes her" Ororo added and Rumi cocked her head sideways.
"I will decide after I watch the match" Rumi said and nodded her head. Ororo shrugged and decided to follow Rumi's lead. The girl seemed to have a lot of potential, but that doesn't mean that she was going to become an exceptional fighter in the Future.
However this time, Lord Agares was unable to stop himself from speaking up. These women were talking about training his daughter… He knew that both women were romantically involved with the Destroyer, so he wouldn't mind if his daughter was being trained by them.
So, Lord Agares stood up from his seat and approached Rumi and Ororo. Reo obviously noticed the man, but he didn't bother to do anything since the man didn't have any hostile intent. Nit that the man could hurt either Rumi or Ororo in the first place.
"Excuse me" Lord Agares spoke up when he finally arrived beside Rumi's and Ororo's seats. Both of them had noticed the man approaching them as soon as he had stood up.
"Yes?" Ororo asked in a polite tone.
"Greeting, my name is Velmont Agares, I couldn't help but overhear your conversation. Is it true that are planning to train my daughter?" The Head of Agares Family asked in a polite tone. He had heard them clearly but according to traditions, it would have been rude if he didn't confirm their standing clearly.
"That depends on the fight" Rumi answered with a straight face.
"Yes, of course. I assure you that my daughter won't disappoint either of you. She has been working really hard since the Tournament was announced" Velmont Agares rattled off, he was quite pleased with the development.
"If she is any good, then you don't have to worry about her… we will take her under our wing" Ororo assured the man and Velmont Agares beamed at the statement, but he didn't want to ruin the mood by continuing the conversation as there was not much to say. So, he quickly made his way back to his seat. He noticed the jealous looks he was receiving from the other families. With a smug grin on his face, he finally reclaimed his seat…
[Rating Games Field]
"Instead of getting bored while waiting, allow to me explain what Object Break Game is. I am pretty sure that most of you don't have any ideas…" Grayfia took a small pause to look around at the crowd. When she was finally satisfied that almost everyone was paying attention to her, she decided to start her explanation.
"Object Break Game a variant of the normal Rating Game where the goal is to break the objects. These objects are in the shape of Fallen Angel and Devil women. These objects will be scattered around the battlefield and there will be 13 of these objects in total. The first team to break seven of these objects within the twelve-hour time limit will win the Rating Game and just like in the normal Rating Game, you can also defeat the enemy King to achieve victory" Grayfia finished her explanation.
Once again, Grayfia looked around at the crowd and found that most of the people understood her explanation, and those who haven't understood anything were being explained by the people sitting beside them in the spectator stands. Grayfia is a Devil, so her eye-sight is extremely good.
After a few seconds, Grayfia activated a Teleportation Circle and teleported away from the platform. As soon as Grayfia was gone, the Teleportation Circle started to dissolve into the ground. The rest of the 10 minutes were finally gone and the Game Field transformed into the Amazon Rainforest.
"Greeting, I am Grayfia Lucifuge and I will be officiating all the Rating Games. Seekvaira Agares along with her Peerage and Zephyrdor Glasya-Labolas along with his Peerage has been teleported to the opposite sides of the Game Fields as you can see on the Magical Screens" Grayfia's voice rang throughout the arena.
"The objects have been also placed around the Game Field in a random manner. Now, it is time to start the Rating Game" Grayfia announced and a Communication Circle appeared near Seekvaira's ear and Zephyrdor's ear.
"Yes!" Both Seekvaira and Zephyrdor declared at the same time.
"With this, the first Rating Game of the Tournament has commenced!!" Grayfia announced cheerfully and the crowd roared in excitement and anticipation…
[Inside Devil Faction Waiting Room]
"Do you think Zephyrdor has any chance of winning?" Genshirou Saji questioned Sona, whose eyes were fixated on the screen.
"Close to none" Sona answered blandly.
"But he might try something underhanded like taking someone hostage?" One of Sona's newest Pawn asked in a worried tone. Maka has been a Grim Reaper, but unlike Bennia Orcus, she was a full-fledged Grim Reaper. After the death of Hades, she had nowhere to go, so she along with her friends had decided to join Sona.
Sona Sitri has resurrected her as a Pawn, just like her friends. Bennia has been also resurrected as a Pawn, but she has consumed two Pawn pieces, while her other friend Ibis has taken only one Pawn piece just like her.
"Yes, there is a chance that Zephyrdor might try that when he finds that he is fucked, but chances of something like that happening are very low" Sona answered. The previous Sona would have never used such crude words, but this Sona was much more different.
"First of all, Seekvaira is a smart girl, this isn't your usual Rating Game. She only needs to break 7 objects to win the Game, so she would probably avoid any type of direct confrontation and secondly, Zephyrdor is a huge moron. He wouldn't think of taking someone hostage" Sona deadpanned and Tsubaki nodded her head in agreement.
After that, Sona's Peerage members started to discuss among themselves while Sona kept staring at the screen in front of her. The waiting room was very big, so everyone had their own space. So, Sona wasn't bothered by the fact that someone might be eavesdropping on their conversation.
From time to time, Sona kept glancing towards Diodora Astaroth and his Peerage. There was something odd about his Peerage members, all of them were women, and all of their faces were covered by hoods. Diodora was acting like a benevolent young lord, but Sona could swear that it was an act.
She never liked Diodora Astaroth, there was slimy about him and suspicion only grew stronger with time. Previously she haven't questioned anything, but after being trained by Yachiru she had started to see the world in a different light. No matter what… Sona wouldn't trust the fucker as far as she could throw him.
After that, Sona glanced towards the corner where Rias was sulking… Sona released a sigh, there was nothing she could do to help her best friend. Rias might have won if she was fighting against Zephyrdor and she would have a chance against Seekvaira too, but there was simply no way that Rias could defeat Sairaorg Bael.
'Sorry, Rias. You can't pull a miracle out of your ass' Sona pondered and turned back towards the screen.
"Looks like you were right Kaichou. Seekvaira Agares has planned to avoid any sort of direct confrontation…" Tsubasa said with a grin and Sona could only nod her head. Now, it was just a matter of time…
