The day ended without much rewards. He did not get much Drag Points but the good news was that he managed to trigger all the chicks he needed to complete his missions.

When he reached home, Ye Xian’er was washing his clothes. Her own clothes would be put into the washing machine, but she would wash Ye Tianyi’s clothes with her hands. How could you not love a woman who was willing to wash your underwear with her own hands? Not to mention, she was a very arrogant woman. Ye Tianyi was deeply moved when he thought of it.

Ye Xian’er shook off the water from her hands when she saw that Ye Tianyi had returned home. “The food’s ready. Wash your hands and we’ll eat.”

“Why did her words contradict what she felt?” Ye Xian’er asked.

“I don’t know.” Ye Tianyi shook his head.

Who would be able to understand something like this? Ye Tianyi had no idea how to explain it as the system cannot be known by a second person. As for Ye Xian’er… Ye Tianyi could not tell her no matter how much he trusted her.

When Ye Tianyi arrived at the tenth floor, he saw a woman and two men waiting outside the office. There were more than a dozen people in the room next door, working overtime on their keyboards. A middle-aged man happened to be walking behind Ye Tianyi, and Ye Tianyi recognized him with one look.

“Manager Shang, I’m here for an interview to become a member of the Scarlet Legion’s Eighth Team,” Ye Tianyi said to him.

“Alright, understood. There are ten minutes left to eight o’clock so you can wait outside for a moment. There are three people here for an interview. I’ll come to you once I’m done with them.”

“Okay!” Ye Tianyi nodded.

They were here to interview for an office job, not the Scarlet Legion. Hence, they were not martial artists but regular workers.

Shang Yu entered his office. Ye Tianyi approached the office’s door.

The woman and one of the men were wearing suits. The other plain-looking man was dressed casually.

“Chen Meng, you can come in first.”

The woman walked in.

“Nice to meet you, general manager. I have a double master’s from Hua Qing University and many years of work experience. This is my resume.” The woman passed her resume to Shang Yu.

They could all hear what she said, and the door was open so they could all watch the interview.

“Alright, got it. Please go out and wait for our notice,” Shang Yu said with a smile as he accepted her resume.

Chen Meng was stunned. He did not even look through her resume…

“Alright.” She walked out in disappointment, feeling as though she had been rejected.

“Zhang Ke.”

The man wearing spectacles and a suit walked in with a smile on his face.

“Nice to meet you, general manager. I graduated from Fu Ha University and I have a double Ph.D. in economy and management. After graduation, I was working in the top five hundred companies in the Tenning Empire. I decided to come back because my family is here. This is my resume,” Zhang Ke said confidently.

His academic qualifications and work experience were much richer than Chen Meng’s. He must be the one to get the job.

“Alright, I understand. Please wait for my notice outside,” Shang Yu said again.

Zhang Ke was obviously stunned.

How did this happen?

“But you haven’t even looked at my resume.”

“Wait for my notice,” Shang Yu said, professionally faking a smile.

“Wang Dalong.” 

Wang Dalong walked in, trembling. Ye Tianyi looked over. As Wang Dalong was about to sit down, he saw a crumpled piece of paper on the floor. He suddenly remembered something. He walked over, picked up the crumpled piece of paper, and was ready to throw it into the rubbish bin.

“Hey, wait!” Shang Yu interrupted him with a smile. Wang Dalong looked at him doubtfully.

“Please, open the paper and take a look,” Shang Yu said with a smile.

Wang Dalong opened the paper. A few words were printed on it. ‘Congratulations, you’re hired.’ Dalong was shocked when he saw the words.

Ye Tianyi was also stunned. What the f*ck! Someone actually used this tactic he saw in the news earlier?

Shang Yu then walked out with the surprised Wang Dalong and said, “The three of you can come into the room together!”

They then went into the office where a dozen people were working over-time.

Shang Yu clapped his hand and said, “Everybody stop, I have an announcement.”

Everybody looked at Shang yu.

Shang Yu smiled and patted Wang Dalong—who was standing by his side with an excited expression on his face—on the shoulder. He said to everybody, “Let’s all welcome cleaner Wang Dalong.”

Clap, clap, clap—

The sound of people clapping could be heard.

Ye Tianyi, “???”

The cleaner, “?”

Wang Dalong was stunned! The…the cleaner?

“I was shocked. I thought the general manager was going to reject me,” Zhang Ke said while clapping his hands.

Shang Yu pointed at him and praised him. “You couldn’t even notice such a huge pile of paper. You must be suitable for the supervisor position.”

Ye Tianyi, “???”

Realistic!

This is too f*cking realistic! Wang Dalong was in charge of picking up trash because he was talented in that, so he was suitable to be the cleaner?

Shang Yu walked out and looked at Ye Tianyi after he finished speaking. “Follow me into the office.”
