\"Warrior's Shout\"
\"Assasin's Pride\"
\"Archer's eye\"
\"Warrior's aura\"
The two carriers stood in their place akin to firm mountains, their face devoid of any expression.
The skill was akin to an enormous bow with excessively pulled string, waiting for the missing link to release its arrow with all ferocity.
Link was glad he did not need to convince the group to perform this task, as this way he could get rid of the monster and avoid sharing the loot all with one shot. As he was happily thinking of his possible future gains, the greedy magic apprentice performed the skill, effectively executing his long-time companions!
\"Mage's Might\"
An enormous amount of energy was produced, being boosted with every passing second, Dahlia looked on with admiration, this would defiantly kill the beast. Once Link pulled the trigger releasing the energy, they all felt sick, something was not right, their life force was being drained. They struggled violently, blood-curdling screams of agony filled the hall as 4 humans dissolved into dust, getting scattered around. The scene was so horrifying that the culprit lost his bearing falling to the ground in shock, even the charging behemoth hesitated, trying to make sense of the sudden change. One moment of carelessness was more than enough for the attack to land on his body, yet nothing happened!
Aghast the young mage looked on the outcome, nothing had happened, he had killed his shield and sword for no reason! Regret was slowly starting to invade his corrupted heart, terrified he attempted to run away. However, his body was not following any instructions; rooted in place, Link watched, terror smeared all over his young face.
Fortunately, the ogre was standing still with a dazed expression on its face, as if he was unable to perceive the foe in front. Link turned around to ask for help from the carriers, they would be able to help him run away; yet before he could call out for them, he saw an empty space behind, they had left beforehand.
Feelings of betrayal filled his heart, leaving a bitter after taste in his mouth; turning around to witness the state of the enemy, Link noticed the assistants were on either side of the beast forming a triangle with Link, putting the ogre in the middle. Before their bizarre stance could raise suspicion a nerve-wracking wave of pain attacked his mind, it was as if every cell of his brain was on fire; another round of petrifying symphony of agony started. Howls echoed throughout the halls of dungeon, frightening any creature in the vicinity, the wails had amplified the dark atmosphere of the dungeon creating a hell on earth!
After some time passed, there was nothing more than silence in the massive hall, every living lifeform except one was dead, with the exception breathing raggedly as if he would pass on at any second. Slowly the heartrate became stable, causing some color to shade the ale face; the body on the ground twitched slightly, but the eyes stayed shut.
A while later the eyes opened, possessing an unusual shine to them, one that would alarm the survival instincts of any living being looking at such glow, screaming at them to run with all might. The glow faded in a matter of milliseconds, with it, the ferocious aura disappeared, yet the sleeping ogre had a new danger level; like a small fish which had just turned into a dragon!
John analyzed his new vessel, a thorough scan was needed in case any defects were before any small instability affected his plans.

John had used the memories of the host, which were completely vulnerable after such devastating injury, to gather even more information for his subject's status window. He had found the name of the designed fighting technique, each move in detail and the reasoning behind its design. It had to be mentioned if any student truly learned every aspect of training sets from the idea to the wrong moves and eventually the perfected version; the process of learning would have been moved by leaps and bounds. Alas, this was impossible, yet John had done such a task by carefully observing muscles and the mind of its mount, like checking a horse to be purchased.
\"This ogre came down rather easily, the use of chain attack which killed the members of the group, cut away the connection between the mana symbol and the core. Cutting ties aggressively broke the soul of the creature, as the mark had been fused with parts of the soul. \"
\"Such a peculiar scenario happing around, the group was forced into these courters by elite kobolds, it seemed as if the other race hoped this small group to kill the monster inside. I reckon the reputation of this small party had soared within these small walls, one cannot expect to leave a trail of the dead without being found. The door showed a brutal history amongst the different kinds of creatures inhabiting this floor, they were natural enemies fighting over resources. As they could not be tamed to harmonize, a powerhouse had to personally make a move, calming them down using intimidation. This could have been the work of one of the aged beasts affected by mana core, or ordered by the mater of these walls, in either case, the being should be hidden in some layers keeping the order of the first few floors. Such existence should be outside normal routs as it would affect the ecosystem of lifeforms close to it, thus going forward there is a more pressing need to find all hidden routs with extra precaution\" John pondered.
\"Once the lab rats fell into the traps of kobolds, facing a much stronger foe, out of fear for their lives and greed within their hearts, they engaged in combat. With such an immature mindset, affecting humans is rather child play, which makes the existence of higher powers more severe. As they could easily alter the course of human minds, gathering destiny and fate. According to the limited evidence derived, the so-called gods have built their base of power attainment around the mortals. However, relying on others for power is simply foolish, which opens them into a never-ending struggle to gather more resources. Thus, it can be concluded that either I am within a realm filled with chaos or they have more sources as backing; more information is needed for a definite conclusion. Neither of the possibilities has a sway on the short-term milestones, yet this new specimen seems rather interesting, as it processes a weak power of fate. With my new powers organized, quantified and properly controlled, finding such small traces is no challenge\"
John used the broken soul pieces to convey a command to the system: \"Show my stats\"

John observed: \"The system is truly discriminating between its subject, but that is the proper management and the way I can use most! More information is shown, but it is still not connected enough to the soul to be able to read more. It is understandable to have the element of reading minds built into the mainframe, but with this many subjects, it can be very time consuming and unnecessary to monitor each one. However, tricking a strong handful to lower their guards willingly is rather smart. I am starting to like this game more and more. Now for the final and most important gain...\"
