"If you don't pull those things down I will certainly find you!" I don't like playing these damn games any more...Wang was saying on the phone as he led the way out of the hospital. he pulled the phone away from his ears after a few unpleasant exchanges of words but just then, another call came in;

"Sir, we have been stopped from working for the Hans, the miss must have found out that she even moved out of the house....we can't do anything about it." a manly voice said, Wang who was still fuming from his recent conversation, was now burning with anger that he threw his phone in the distance but it unknowing crushed into a car that was entering the hospital premises.

Xia who sat near the window was terrified due to the sudden crushing sound, the glass window didn't break but it did get a mere cracker through it. An kai who was quiet in the back seat, moved his head to look at the rare view mirror on his left so did Linda, and both ended up surprised.

"An kai was the first one to get off the car, he looked at the car window and then Wang before commanding the rest, " let's go."

" He must be in a bad mood, poor child..."Xia commented on seeing Wang and the phone that was almost in pieces. after, she looked at the calm surroundings of the place.

Are we in the right place, Isn't this a hospital? asked Xia but this was like a reminder to An kai, he looked at the poor woman for awhile not sure whether to tell her the news, he contemplated for a while before turning to her slowly, "There is a "little" problem but you needn't worry, okay?"

Being unaware of the situation, Xia smiled at the gentle tone An kai used.

"you're still the child I raised, God must have sent you back to me." you know son, I was very sad to continue living without you but now, I am so strong than any time ever! when Ming comes back, as you know, she couldn't find a job but you know how pretty she is, right?

An kai didn't answer but Xia continued, she became a stunt double in the beginning but as she progressed, she learnt how to act and came to some valuable roles. I am sure next year will be her year! she went to a friend's party but she will be here in a few days but there is one thing for sure...

An kai asked because he didn't know how to tell the rest, Xia was in a great mood. her eyes shining with a lot of positivity and her words filled with a lot of energy but what An kai didn't realise was the fact that Linda wasn't with them any more, and his driver was about to burst to tears in any moment from then. he couldn't bear the weight of shuttering the old lady's fantasy.

...Huan will go crazy! all her idols are tied behind you. she has been talking about you for as long she remembers and she only has eyes for you. Xia continued seeing that Kai was interested but as she was about to continue, her phone rang, and a very big smile appeared on her face.

" my little angel..., hello?"

"Yes, just eat and rest. I will be back with a very huge surprise for you. bye. Xia ended the phone call and turned back to An kai. I want to...

"Ming is in the ICU but don't worry everything is going to be alright. it was the driver, he realised that getting sad wasn't going to help so he just said everything in a single breathe.

Xia looked like she was just awoken from a dream. she smiled at An kai like she has always done and then she started to move forward lamenting to herself.

Dreams are supposed to end, my Ming can't be any less than a normal person with that beautiful smile of hers, and as for An kai, he will never come back to life. he died and I can't change that fact. my little girl will become a lawyer as she wishes...

Dogs pant when they can't contain their heat any more but what could a sad lonely middle-aged woman do after facing so many calamities and less peace, internal peace.

Facing the truth would make you slightly better even though it doesn't chase away the pain.

what Xia could always do is to lament that truth she knew to herself. An kai is dead and so she should stay strong for the living, the poor fellas that had just learnt how to smile in this world of "who cares?"

she was convincing herself to leave the dream.
