Chapter 242 - If I matter to you don't marry her(36)

Name:A spoilt princess Author:kyomukam
I live with my grandfather from my mother's side, says grandfather. he treats me very well and he respects my decisions most of the times. there are no hidden ideas in me, whatever you people say makes me hate my stupidity even more so please, don't force conversations or past stories because all of that makes me feel useless. I don't know Ming personally but I do know that she knows much more than us all.

at this point, Xia looked so pale with tears threatening to fall at any given moment. An kai noticed so he tried to make his words more bearable;

"I don't doubt anything you people say, but I can't believe a thing either." I want a simple life with peace that can content me for a while...

"you sure know how to joke! "people"? you don't even care about what's happening...you know, when we used to live out of this city, our lives were never too good but never hopeless either.

we were happy than what you could ever tell... but hearing you say such things messes me up. I feel like you.... should have died for once.

I can bear those words but their people as call us, who can't. if you think telling this doomed story of yours is going to save you then just go, disappear and never show your face again. you don't need us and we don't need you, you don't know us then, we don't know you either! Xia got hold of herself and left, leaving An kai looking blankly like he didn't know what was going on. he kept staring so deep into the distance but what he didn't expect was the fact that he would find Xia at his current known home and two, he didn't expect to find grownup woman looking at him while hiding behind the crowded flowers few steps away from the wooden bench he was sitting on.

...

Christina who bumped into An kai and Xia walking towards the garden, stopped and hide until the two disappeared and then she followed along. she went behind a very big ported plant she stood herself in a low position to listen but however hard she tried she was never able to hear what the two were saying. the two had sat side by side on the wooden bench. Xia suddenly sprang up and said all that she said to An kai and left. Christian wanted to change to a more comfortable position when suddenly the man she was piping at was right in front of her.

An kai could very well tell that she must have been listening to his conversation but before he could make the analysis, Christina looked at him casually with signs but An kai didn't move which forced the latter to talk.

"Hide and seek...leave or they are going to find me, please...hurry and leave." Christina continued to pretend as she argued An kai to leave. An kai scanned her up and down before continuing to walk away and after a few steps, he looked behind only to find her sighing lightly.

I f this act of "I know you" continued, An was very sure he was going to go crazy. he went to look at Ming for a while and then he got ready to go find the old man. if only he had told him something small about the people he used to stay with, he wouldn't be faced with these kinds of people and the different sensations. If Roline said things that made him feel weird, then Xia cut him into small pieces. he could still hear the tone she was using. the way she wished he was dead was unexplainable.

...

After Linda parted with Wang, she headed straight back to An kai's place with her awful mood, she removed her shoes and reached for the blue slippers on the shoe Rucker but just before she could touch them, the little assistant to the great master suddenly snatched them away.

"properties in this house are PERSONALLY owned, feel free to make orders, I will sign the bill. thank you!

The little assistant said she had picked the slippers individually for one person, no one was permitted to fit in them their feet. Linda who hadn't realised what was going on snaped back and looked at the young woman. she was slightly taller than she was. her hair tied up in tight ban, she oozed the law of beauty and class added with the arrogance in her voice, she was the true boss lady of the twenty-first century.

"Do you have to be that stringent, there just slippers, aren't they? Linda rolled her eyes at the latter, completely showing her dissatisfaction.
