Chapter 9：My secrets are out.

It happened rather unexpected. My secrets were found out by my parents. but let's start from the beginning.

A whole month passed by unnoticed and I turned 6 months old. My body is now functioning better and I can talk properly. I was amazed at the power of magical energy and was really happy when I tried to use it. In my previous life,I really loved reading books about magic and similar stuff, and there a narrator would often tell the way magic worked. Sometimes it depended on the chant, sometimes on spirits; however the most common method was to visualize the outcome of the spell. I tried making up my own chant, but then I remembered that father didn't use chants when showing off his magic to me. I don't think that there are spirits around my home, so I tried to use my imagination. It was a success!!! I got super excited and that's when I made my first, if you don't count in that time with 'I'm sowi...', blunder.

I was at the back of our house and no one was watching over me, since Afald and I were playing hide and seek. I hid behind a large bush and waited for Afald to come. I waited and waited..... and became super bored. I'm sure that I waited for no more than 5 minutes, but I still managed to ran out of patience.

I stood up, since it was very uncomfortable to be on my knees and cast magic, and tried to visualize a water spell. A floating ball of water appeared in the air.

"Yup! It was success again! Now I'm sure that I can use Fire, water and earth attributes. what is left to try is...."

"Mirta....."

I froze. I got too engrossed in my thoughts and didn't notice how Afald appeared behind me.

"Mirta... you can talk? And now that I look at you, aren't you standing? Aunty Ame.....! HMPF!"

He tried to call Mother but I stuffed his mouth with water. Oops, now he knows I can use magic as well.... great.
