8:17 AM

Sabrina woke up in Ashton's embrace.

It took her a moment to realize that they are both naked under the cover and that unleashed into her mind a flood of images from the previous night. With that, she understood why her lower back is sore, but she didn't mind it. It's all worth it.

She smiled while remembering Ashton's intense gaze directed at her and how he was caring and strong and gentle at the same time.

They made love repeatedly while taking breaks to cuddle. During those breaks, they caressed each other and exchanged sweet nothings. The two of them didn't eat, but by midnight, they finished their second bottle of wine.

Sabrina remembers that it was 1:21 AM the last time she checked the clock, and Ashton was planting gentle kisses on her shoulder while murmuring how wonderful she is, and it seems that she slept off.

Yesterday was a whirlwind. She woke up with the fear that she will lose Ashton and then Jackson showed up, and the mess in the hospital, and she watched Ashton cook, and she told Ashton everything and they ended up in the bed, making love.

It happened, they are officially a couple. No more Jackson and pretending, she can be with the man she loves beyond the confinement of this apartment.

The only thing she wants right now is to stay as close as possible to Ashton. In this bed or anywhere else, without anyone disturbing them. She does not care that she is sweaty and sticky and that she needs a shower, because her priority is to be with Ashton. It feels like she should make up for the three decades of her life without Ashton by her side.

Ashton stirred in his sleep and smiled.

"Good morning, my queen…" He mumbled, still half-asleep, without opening his eyes.

"Good morning…" She responded while enjoying the sight of his facial muscles which are moving slightly as he is attempting to open his eyes.

Sabrina likes that he calls her his queen and she wants to give him a nickname as well, but only 'nerdy sports-freak' came to her mind and she does not think it's appropriate. It should be something powerful and cute and loving and… she will think about it later. For now, Ashton will be HER nerdy sports-freak, but she will not say that aloud.

"You can sleep more if you want. It's Sunday." Sabrina said when after a full minute he still didn't open his eyes.

"I'm awake." He responded.

"Your eyes are closed." Sabrina stated the fact.

Ashton's smile widened.

"I don't need to open my eyes in order to know that my whole world is in my arms." He said dreamily while tightening his hold on Sabrina.

"I see that your tongue is glazed with honey from early morning." Sabrina was referring to his sweet-talking.

"Mhm…" He hummed in confirmation. "That is because last night I was enjoying the nectar of the most beautiful woman in the world."

"I am only telling the truth." Ashton said matter-of-factly.

The sound of Sabrina's tummy grumbling made Ashton open his eyes.

"Hungry?"

"Maybe a little bit." She admitted.

"Let's shower and I will make you breakfast."

"Let's make it together." Sabrina offered.

"Not today." He refused and got out of the bed. "Give me a minute…"

Sabrina turned after him and saw his shadow disappearing into her bathroom. A few seconds later, she heard the water running.

Ashton returned from the bathroom and Sabrina widened her eyes to take in his bare body in all its glory. She bit her lower lip while remembering how good all those muscles feel under her palms. He is perfect.

She jolted when he tugged the cover away from her.

He paused and his eyes moved over her curves. "You are beautiful."

Sabrina smiled, happy to see that he is aroused and standing in attention. "And you are very handsome."

"I am happy you approve, my queen…" He said while scooping her in his arms and carrying her into the bathroom.

They washed each other while exchanging light kisses.

Sabrina was in a daze, his touch was electrifying, and she didn't realize at what point Ashton started filling up the tub with warm water. The water was running probably from before they got into the shower.

Ashton turned off the shower and lowered Sabrina in the tub.

He gave her a few kisses before instructing: "Relax here, I will let you know when the breakfast is done…"

She saw Ashton wrap a long hand towel around his waist before stepping out of the bathroom.

Sabrina leaned in the tub and exhaled. Everything is perfect. She closed her eyes and smiled. She wondered if Ashton knows about her sore back, is that why he let her sit in the tub?

Sabrina was lost in her sweet thoughts about Ashton and she was surprised that he returned carrying a tray with breakfast. Did she space out or sleep off?

While Ashton adjusted over-the-tub tray, Sabrina hungrily looked at his body which was covered only by a small towel, barely large enough to wrap around his waist and cover his important parts. It looked like he is wearing a mini-skirt.

"I hope you will like it…" Ashton said.

"There is nothing not to like."

He chuckled when he realized that she is not looking at the food at all.

Sabrina bit her lower lip and watched Ashton as he removed the towel and got in the tub opposite from her. The tub is massive and only their legs from the knees down touched.

When water covered Ashton's bottom half of the body, she focused on the tray with breakfast between them.

There is breakfast in the bed, but this is breakfast in the tub! Her boyfriend is the best!

Sabrina observed a massive omelet and two forks and two dinner rolls and two glasses of orange juice, and it's perfect.

They shared the omelet and it was delicious.

She remembered that last night Ashton didn't use all the vegetables she cut for the dinner. He packed some on the side and kept them in the fridge. That explains how the breakfast was done so quickly. Sabrina admired the fact that Ashton is a planning guy. The more she finds out about him, the more she is convinced that he is perfect.

"Any plans for today?" Ashton asked.

"I want to be with you. Preferably here. And if you need to go anywhere, I hope that we can go together." Sabrina responded and pointed at the omelet. "This is amazing."

"You don't want us to go somewhere?"

Sabrina smiled. She likes that he spoke for both of them. "Not really. The two of us, like this, it's perfect."

Ashton exhaled. He wants to be with Sabrina, just the two of them, but there are pressing matters and if they are delayed, things can get complicated. "Don't you want to get in touch with Max and Liz and find out the status with Jackson?"

Sabrina remembered that she turned off her phone. She didn't want anyone to interrupt her time with Ashton. After all the mess from Friday and then from the hospital, Sabrina wanted to be with Ashton undisturbed so that they can talk freely, and the things in the bedroom after the talk were a bonus.

Anyway, Liz and Max know that she is with Ashton at her place and she told them that she wants privacy.

Sabrina frowned. "I don't want to think about Jackson. Not today."

"I don't mind if we stay here the whole day and pretend that the rest of the world does not exist, but Max will be worried. And what will Hunter or your parents say if they find out that you broke up with Jackson and they can't reach you? They will want to know what happened from you, and they will be concerned that you are unreachable. How much I know, they are not aware that the engagement was part of a deal." Ashton saw that Sabrina does not like the idea of talking to them, and he reminded her: "I remember that not so long ago, Max and Liz went off the grid and we ended up going through half of Seattle, searching..."

"OK. OK!" Sabrina gave in. She sees his point. It's not that Sabrina does not want to tell the world that she broke up with Jackson and that she is with Ashton, but she hoped for one day of peace. It will be difficult to explain to her parents that the engagement with Jackson is a sham because that means admitting to lying for eight years. How is she supposed to tell them that? But if she delays it, the Adams family might come to Nathan and Madeline and come up with who knows what scenarios, or maybe they make a bigger damage.

Sabrina thought for a moment before speaking: "Do you want to go and see my parents as my boyfriend? We can invite Hunter as well and tell my whole family what is going on."

Ashton smiled. "I am ready whenever you are. First, call Max and see what happened in the hospital after we left. Rina, I know that it will be uncomfortable, but I will be by your side."

Sabrina looked at Ashton and she wondered if he can get any sweeter. He is smart and levelheaded and supportive, and he even made her breakfast. "First, let me enjoy this delicious food. My boyfriend made it for me with love. Then, we will talk to Max and Liz, and I will see if my parents can host a dinner for everyone…"
