"Q… At this rate, I will be late to work…" Brianna said through giggles.
"How about you take a day off?" Quentin said playfully while pulling Brianna back into the bed.
"No one takes days off as soon as they start working. I need to be present and prove myself first, otherwise people will see me as a slacker." Brianna stopped her attempts to escape and turned toward Quentin. She hugged him and smiled. "Thanks to the deal with Reynolds Publishing and your positive feedback, my dad gave me three more clients to handle. I don't want to disappoint him."
"Maybe I should give you negative feedback so that you have less work." Quentin said with a smirk.
Brianna didn't respond. She knows that he would never do anything to harm her. She kissed him on the lips before asking: "You didn't answer my question from last night: are you moving in with me?"
Quentin has no intention of moving in with Brianna. But he is missing her, so he came on Friday evening and brought some extra clothes. He will return to Seattle when he has to, but until then, he plans to stick to his fiery Goddess and work remotely.
"I will be here as much as possible until you come to Seattle." Quentin responded honestly.
Brianna is happy that Quentin is here, and that he would do so much for her, but she has her concerns. "Don't allow your work to suffer. OK?"
Quentin pouted. "Is your work more important than me?"
"Yes, and no. My work is important because I need to pay bills, and it's the same for you. No one can survive out of love. We would not be this happy if we are squeezing in a shabby one-bedroom apartment in the suburbs."
"I am happy to squeeze with you anywhere…" Quentin said while tightening his hold on Brianna.
Brianna would love to melt in his embrace and spend the next few days in the bed with him, but it's Monday, and she needs to be responsible. "Q… I started working only two weeks ago. But soon, I will pitch to my dad the idea about branching to Seattle and then we can plan for something more than occasional sleepovers."
Quentin grinned. He likes that Brianna is talking about their plans, together.
Brianna used this moment of Quentin being distracted to squirm out of his hold and dash into the bathroom. "I will shower…"
Quentin narrowed his eyes at the half-open bathroom door for a second, and then a mischievous smirk appeared on his face when he heard the shower running. "Did you think that bathroom is safe?"
Brianna's eyes flashed when she saw that Quentin is joining her under the shower. She was never this conflicted. Should she hug him, kiss him, touch him, or push him away? Ah, decisions… decisions…
"Let me wash your back…" Quentin murmured while getting the shower gel.
"Allow me to wash your front…" Quentin spoke softly in her ear while his hands snaked around her waist, cupping her girls.
Brianna didn't resist. She leaned on Quentin and allowed him to do as he pleases because she knows it will be good for her as well. Technically, she is under the shower and getting ready for work. Everything else is a bonus.
His hands glided between her girls, to her flower, skillfully pressing and caressing, and within a minute, Brianna's body was ablaze. She didn't think about the time or the work, the only thing on her mind was the aching need in her core and the man who invoked it. No one ever fired her up like Quentin, and somehow, she knows that no one ever will. Quentin is unique, special, hers. And she is his.
Quentin turned Brianna to face him and pinned her between the wall and himself. Brianna held onto his shoulders and lifted her legs around his waist, eagerly waiting for him to fill her up. And he did.
There was the pressure, the friction, and the waves of pleasure battered her insides with his every thrust, causing all her nerve endings to scream from the intensity and beg for more.
With the motion of his hips, Quentin expertly guided Brianna to the edge where pure ecstasy awaits, and then they plunged off into the rapture, together.
"I love you, Quentin…" Brianna breathed.
Quentin looked at his fiery Goddess with a silly grin on his face. She said it, just like that. It was clear and she can't take it back.
Quentin kissed Brianna on the lips, and murmured: "I love you, Brianna…"
It was difficult to pull out and to separate from her, but he knew that he needs to do it. For now.
Quentin thought how every moment with Brianna is divine and it's getting more intense. She is like a drug he can't live without. The only way he will survive this is to get her to move to Seattle. Then, they don't need to separate. And the plan hatched in his mind…

~ San Francisco, Harper Investments ~
11:42 AM
"Come in…" Brianna called without lifting her gaze from the screen in front of her when she heard a knock on the door.
"Miss Harper, CEO Harper asked you to come to his office." Secretary said when she peeked in.
Brianna wondered, what does her father want now? It's almost lunchtime, and she planned to go home and meet with Quentin who is working from there. Well, whatever her father wants, Brianna hopes that it will end quickly. "I'm coming…"
Brianna knocked at the door with the name tag: 'Joseph Harper, CEO' and opened it.
"Brianna, thank you for joining us…" Her father said with a big smile.
Brianna wanted to ask who that 'us' is, but then her eyebrows shoot up when she realized that the second person in the office is Quentin.
"Miss Harper…" Quentin greeted her politely.
Brianna shook his hand and smiled. "Mr. Reynolds…"
"Brianna, Mr. Reynolds was telling me how well you are handling him and that he would like to extend our cooperation." Brianna's father said with pride obvious in his voice.
There was a snort from the side, and only then Brianna realized that there is another person in the office, her cousin, Thomas. Brianna decided to ignore him.
Brianna's smile widened. "I am happy that Mr. Reynolds is satisfied with my service."
Quentin's gaze deepened. Oh, yes. He is satisfied with her service. "Of course, Miss Harper. You are the best. I could not believe that you started working only a few weeks ago."
"Mr. Reynolds told me that you discussed branching of Harper Investments to the North." Joseph said and looked at Brianna expectantly.
Brianna paused. She will not deny it because she spoke with Quentin about Harper Investments branching to Seattle, and her moving there, but they didn't talk in detail. She decided to play along. "Reynolds Publishing is based in Seattle, and I mentioned that if we have an office there, we can work closely and take care of their deals."
Quentin nodded in approval of Brianna's words and turned to Joseph. "Miss Harper is modest. Not only our deals, but I have friends in several other companies who would be delighted to work with Harper Investments, as long as you offer them similar conditions."
Joseph's eyes flashed, and he was unable to hide his glee. More customers! Why didn't Brianna tell him about that? They are considering branching, and if there is a market without their coverage, and with customers, that is a sure win! He will talk with Brianna about that later. Now he needs to make Quentin happy.
"Would you be interested in joining us for lunch? I have a reservation at the Hilton hotel. It is one of the finest restaurants in town and we will be happy if you join us." Joseph said and looked at Quentin expectantly.
Thomas frowned. Yes, they have a reservation, but it's a reservation he (aka Thomas) placed so that HE and Joseph can enjoy a luxurious meal in peace. Just the two of them!
Quentin looked at Brianna. "Will Miss Harper join us as well?"
"Of course!" Joseph said louder than intended while his eyes were fixed on Brianna. He hoped that she will get the hint: she needs to attend this lunch!
Thomas' frown deepened. In truth, Thomas does not mind if Quentin joins because that would give Thomas a chance to score points and maybe steal the customer from Brianna, but why is Brianna joining? Thomas does not see Brianna as worthy; she should reject it.
Brianna didn't want to attend this lunch. It was supposed to be only Quentin and her. How did it become a group activity? And considering that Thomas will be there, her digestion will be ruined. But she can see that Quentin is using this opportunity to expedite her plans for moving to Seattle, and as much as she does not like that he is meddling, he is helping her out.
Brianna noticed Thomas's dark expression, and she will not miss the opportunity to spoil his appetite. "Yes, I will join…"
"Excellent!" Joseph exclaimed and turned to Thomas. "Tom, please make sure that our reservation includes everyone…"
Thomas cursed internally while maintaining his smile. "I will do that right now…"
