Elizabeth, Andrea, Mia, Brianna, and Sabrina are in a luxurious spa, close to downtown Seattle.

This is the first time for Andrea to join the other four ladies for enjoyment in a spa. They started with a coffee in the morning, and after that, all five of them went for girly pampering.

They usually have their spa-treatments on Fridays or on the weekend, but since Liz is planning to go on a vacation soon, they all took a morning off from work so that they can meet.

Andrea, Mia, Brianna, and Sabrina are lying on comfortable leather treatment-chairs, wearing fluffy white bathrobes. Their hair is wrapped in lush towels and their faces are covered with thick facial treatments.

Spa technicians are silently busying themselves around four ladies, providing manicures, pedicures, and any other treatment available because girls got themselves a full package of pampering for this morning, and Liz booked one extra procedure.

"AHHHH!" An ear-piercing sound came from the room next door.

Mia frowned with concern obvious on her face. "Will Liz be OK?"

Andrea snickered. "She will survive. I can't believe it's her first time to wax her private parts."

"She waxed her bikini area, but this is her first time to get a Brazilian.", Brianna explained.

Liz emerged from the door and moved toward the empty treatment-chair, walking funny with her legs spread apart.

"Are you OK, sweetie?", Sabrina asked Liz.

Liz took a seat and exhaled before showing a small smile. "The technician said that aching will stop within minutes and swelling will be gone within a few hours." Liz looked at her crotch area fearfully, not daring to spread the robe and see what is the swelling the lady mentioned. It stings like hell, but she is happy that stinging is slowly turning into a numbing sensation.

Liz was grateful that the ladies started working on her manicure and pedicure, and provided a distraction.

"What's the occasion?", Andrea asked Liz while gesturing toward Liz's crotch area.

"We will go on vacation in three days and I wanted to try something new."

"Are things back to normal with Max?", Mia asked Liz.

"Max is recuperating well. He does not need a wheelchair and as long as he moves carefully, he is fine. There is still a number of bandages on him, but it can all be covered with clothes and it's mostly for precaution."

Mia made a face. "I was not asking about his health."

"Oh…" Liz understood that Mia is asking about their relationship. "He is sweet and caring."

Brianna sensed that there is more to it. "But?"

"Is he guilty because his ex is nearby?", Andrea went straight to the point everyone was thinking about.

Liz saw that all eyes are on her and that she can't avoid the topic. "At first, he was injured but now… I must admit that I have a mental block that prevents me from relaxing."

Sabrina gasped when she realized the meaning behind Liz's words. "You must be one of the few girls in Seattle who don't want to sleep with my brother."

"I didn't say that I don't want to.", Liz said quickly. "It's just that… I don't know. Something is not right."

"You are insecure.", Brianna said.

"You think so?"

Brianna confirmed. "Absolutely. Until you get over it, you will not be able to enjoy your time with Max."

"How do I get over it?"

"Confront the bitch.", Andrea responded instead of Brianna. "You fear is that she will find a way into Max's head. Or to be more accurate: into his bed."

"I know that Max loves me.", Liz said with confidence.

Brianna bobbed her head. "Do you? If you are so confident, why are you not able to relax?"

Liz hesitated in answering, and Andrea took the opportunity to speak. "Liz knows that guys have two heads and in front of an alluring woman, the lower one takes charge. Max gave his heart and his mind to Liz, but she fears that Irene will find a way to seduce him." Andrea turned to Liz. "Honey, it hurts me to see you out of spirit. You need to go to Max's territory and let that woman know who the boss is."

Liz groaned at the idea of confronting Irene. "I hate this. Dating is troublesome."

"But it's worth it.", Mia responded. "Don't you enjoy with Max? Doesn't he make you happy? I remember that until that woman showed up, you were beaming. If you want to keep that, you need to fight for it. Will you allow some random woman to spoil your happiness? Now is Irene, tomorrow will be another woman. Max is handsome and successful, which attracts a lot of women. At least now you know who your opponent is."

Liz knows that Mia is right. There are many women hoping to get Max's attention, and Liz is the one who gives Irene significance.

Sabrina didn't like that they are talking about Max like he can be easily seduced. That is her brother! "Normal guys might forget themselves when they are aroused, but Max is not like that. I believe that he showed more than once how he can control himself when it comes to Elizabeth."

Sabrina turned to Liz. "Max stopped partying because he wanted to be worthy of you. You are the only woman who made him change his behavior willingly. Don't forget that. I'm not saying that you should not put Irene in her place, but don't doubt Max's feelings toward you."

Andrea sighed and spoke to Liz: "I hate to tell you, doll, but a guy like Max comes with baggage. You can't date a heartthrob and expect that he will not give you headaches."

Everyone looked at Andrea with confused expressions.

Mia was the first one to recover. "Are you cheering for Liz and Max to patch up their relationship or not?"

Andrea shrugged. "I'm only stating the facts and I hope that Liz will make her own decision if Max is the right match for her or not. From the moment I met Liz, I knew that she is too good for Max. He might be handsome and smart but emotionally he is like a toddler and Liz is way out of his league." Andrea winked at Liz and added: "With me, you would not have these worries. I will take good care of you."

Brianna grabbed one grape from the plate next to her and flicked it at Andrea. "Will you ever give up? Liz is straight."

Andrea giggled and popped the grape she caught in her mouth. "We were all straight at the beginning… and some of us saw that there are better things out there. Feeling loved and appreciated has nothing to do with gender."

Mia, Brianna, Liz, and Sabrina had to agree with this.

"Max loves Liz and he appreciates her.", Sabrina said in Max's defense.

Andrea bobbed her head. "I didn't say that he does not love her. But will you deny that he is acting like a toddler who is going around and yelling, 'mine, mine, mine!'. Liz is saying that she is the inexperienced one, yet Max is hurting her like a clueless himbo with a negative EQ."

Liz frowned. She knows that Andrea is not Max's fan, but this is too much. "Please, stop badmouthing Max. He is smart and kind and caring and his EQ is definitely not negative. He made a few mistakes, but overall, he is treating me very well and I feel loved."

Andrea snorted. "As I said… you are too good for him. And also, when you realize that he is trash, let me know." Andrea grinned.

Liz stifled a laugh and shook her head, unsure how to respond to this. Will Andrea ever give up?
