"Sir you need to pee on the stick." The nurse said to Alex handing him the pregnancy test kit. "Sir?" The nurse called out for the second time.
"Yes?" Alex replied absentmindedly. The nurse had to repeat the instruction and once Alex nodded his understanding, the nurse let him to the toilet.
Alex stared at the pregnancy test in his hand and for a moment he had the urge to throw the plastic thing in a trash can and run away from here. He just stood there staring at himself in the mirror clutching the pregnancy kit in his hand, racking his brains on how to deal with the news.
"Sir is everything okay?" The nurse called out from outside waking up Alex from his thoughts.
He cleared his throat before answering the nurse. "Ahrmm! Yes I'm okay, just give me a minute." He peed and followed the nurse's instruction and waited for the result. His heart is pounding so loud in anticipation. Honestly he doesn't know what result he wanted to see.
A few moments later one line appeared, he held his breath as another line slowly materialized. Alex almost dropped the pregnancy kit when Keith's suspicion finally became a reality.
He didn't know how he was able to come out of the toilet. He's not even sure if he handed the pregnancy kit back to the nurse. He barely notices them taking his blood samples and doing other tests on him.
He was so out of it that he belatedly realized that he's back in the bed with Keith sitting beside him as they wait for Dr. Calix to arrive.
They heard a knock on the door and soon after Dr. Calix came in with a nurse behind him pushing some kind of machine.
"Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Andersen it's positive you are pregnant. You're about eight weeks along your pregnancy. We confirmed it with the pregnancy test kit you took earlier and from the result of the blood samples we took from Mrs. Andersen as well." Dr. Calix happily announced.
Keith had a hunch about it, but it still surprised him that Alex was indeed pregnant. He remembered knotting on that night they bonded and the way Alex keeps throwing up in the morning fueled his suspicions.
Keith reached for Alex's hands and kissed it gently. However he was caught off guard when he saw the blank expression on Alex's face. Is Alex not happy about the news?
"Ahmm! We should do an ultrasound to see if the baby is healthy. You'll be able to hear the heartbeat as well." Dr. Calix tried to make his voice sound enthusiastic as it seems the mother is not so happy about the news. He signaled the nurse to bring the machine closer to the bed so they can do the ultrasound.
"C.. Can we not do that for now?" Alex whispered but enough for everyone inside the room to stop their movement.
The nurse glanced at Dr. Calix unsure on what to do. On the other hand, the poor doctor turn to Keith for further instruction.
"Is it okay if we don't do it for now?" Keith asked politely, still holding Alex's hands, squeezing it gently as if telling his Omega that it's alright.
"Ahhh… Errm!" Dr. Calix don't know how to respond, they need to conduct the ultrasound in order to know if the baby is healthy. "That should be fine I guess." The doctor replied, sighing. "Anyway, I'm going to refer you to another doctor who specializes in Omega pregnancy. Unfortunately I have limited experience in handling Omega pregnancy and they are mostly Omega women." Dr, Calix said to Keith as Alex is not giving them his attention.
"Is he also in this hospital?" Keith asked.
"Dr. Lee is mainly working at the University Hospital though he consults in some of the hospitals across the country. I believe he is currently out of the country for some consultation but I already checked with the hospital, he will be back by next week." Dr. Calix professional replied.
"Thank you, I will ask my secretary to set an appointment with him." Keith replied, he stare at Alex who was still not saying anything.
"I will give Mrs. Andersen some supplements for now. You can get the rest of the prescriptions from Dr. Lee once you make the appointment." Dr. Calix said and gesturing to the nurse to give the supplements to Mr. Andersen. "The yellow tablet is to be taken three times a day. This is as much as I can do for now." The doctor sighed, he can only give supplements as they don't know if the baby's heartbeat is weak or strong since they cannot do an ultrasound yet. He thought they were a sweet couple but now he has his doubts if he would base it on the mother's lack of interest.

"Why are you home so early?" Sebastian asked as soon as the couple arrived. He thought they had a visitor when he heard the sound of a car arriving. He was surprised that it was Keith and Alex.
"I'll head to the room first." Alex said to no one in particular and immediately headed to the stairs.
"Hey Keith what is going on? Did you have a fight?" Sebastian bombarded Keith with questions as soon as Alex was out of sight.
Keith sighed as he stared at the direction Alex went. "We went to the doctor and we found out that Alex is pregnant. I had my suspicions so I wasn't really surprised at all, but Alex had no idea and did not take it well." Keith explained.
"I don't understand. Does he not want to have children?" Sebastian asked bewildered.
"I honestly don't know. I just want him to be okay." Keith replied, grabbing his hair in frustration. "I'll be in my study, call me when Alex comes down for dinner, if he won't just bring him some food in our room." Keith instructed as he headed to his office.
Sebastian watched Keith walking away from him. His eyes then turn into the direction of the master's bedroom. He wondered how he would be able to help the two of them.

Alex sat down on their bed, his hands unconsciously ended up on his stomach, he instinctively caressed it and wondered if his baby hated him. It's not that he doesn't want it. He does. Of course he wants to have babies and build a family with Keith.
He didn't know that Keith knew about the pregnancy. He keeps having these thoughts: what if Keith married him because he knew he was pregnant? What if he was only after the baby? He doesn't like doubting Keith but he is scared.
He hates feeling like this. This is not him. He shouldn't be like this. It's unfair to Keith and to their baby. What should he do?
Tears fall down his face as his emotions heighten.
He should probably talk to someone. Right now there's only one person he wanted to talk to.
Alex fished out his phone from his bag and dial the number of the person on his mind.
"Hello brat, miss me?" The person on the other end of the line said as soon as they answer the call.
"Hello Mattie."
