2 Prologue 2/3 : Astral Blood Essence

With the Ethereal Cataclysm Array activated, the Ethereal Grotto Sect vanished from the face of the world.

Within the Ancestral Hall Realm throngs of sect members, young and old, sat down in a lotus stance preparing to meditate on the primordial waves.

Cestra and Jasmine, the married couple, lit an incense stick as a sign of ritual and did obeisance to heaven and earth in the form of ceremonial bows towards the four cardinal directions. The married couple held their hands together and nodded towards Smaragdus to invoke the ritual.

At this very moment, a spacial rift formed between Heaven and Earth. A vast arcane aura gently seeped through the fissure and permeated the environment, sublime multitudinous rainbow coloured lights streamed out in vistas from the rift indicating a being amalgamated with the primordial laws was travelling through space-time.

Every soul within the Realm no matter they be the Pinnacle Elder or the youngest infant all gazed in utter fixation towards the incorporeal spectral being, that gently floated out of the rift upon a celestial cloud. The being subconsciously emanated an aura of a Ruler, a ruler that commanded utter obedience upon his subjects.

At the same time this incorporeal form stepped out from the void, an immeasurable suppression of primordial laws soared out in waves intoxicating the soul in a baptism of comprehension. All members of the Ethereal Grotto, apart from the Pinnacle Elder, Smaragdus and the married couple, subconsciously fell into a meditative trance. The members were engrossed comprehending the Primordial Way, and without a doubt, this will be a great boon towards their future achievements. Smaragdus and the couple managed to stay conscious because the Astral God permitted them to do so. While the Pinnacle Elder turned his cultivation base to remain alert.

"Greetings Astral God." The four sect members bowed in respect towards the Astral God.

"For what reason have you called?" A cold yet approving voice echoed throughout their souls.

Smaragdus stepped forward, hands cupped in respect, "Dear Lord, I ask you to help my disciple and her husband birth a male child."

The ethereal being's eyes flashed as he inspected the couple, "Talented. Exceptional. Little Dragon, you managed to find a disciple who could cultivate your technique. Something even I struggled with."

Smaragdus' eyes flashed with joy, "You praise is too high, my lord,"

"Very well, I shall help. I am in need of a new Imperator for the realm. One to lead this realm in the inter-planar wars. Fortunately, there is more than enough time for the child to prosper and mature." The Astral God coldly replied.

The Pinnacle Elders body shook at the mention of the words 'inter-planar wars', and he gazed at the incorporeal form with disbelief. The Astral God paid him no heed.

"Little Children, your child will concurrently be your own and my descendent at the same time," The Astral God lucidly looked at the couple, but if one looked deep into its eyes, one would see a spark of happiness – something that it hasn't felt for aeons.

"I will place a few drops of my Astral blood essence within your bodies, and when you two are joint-in-union, my Astral blood essence will amalgamate with your Qi, and thus enter the female's womb. Creating the purest and most arcane a foetus,"

"Within the child's blood will run yours and mine; divine and mortal," The Astral God wilfully explained, as if it was the most trivial thing.

This time it wasn't only the Pinnacle Elder that shuddered in disbelief, all four of them stared at the primordial God.

"This is the most I can do for you and the unborn child. Any more and I would anger the all-encompassing Primordial Way. Sowing more negative karma than positive. I may have reached the pinnacle of the Astral Way, but that is only one of the many branches of the Primordial Way." Said the Astral God in a determined tone.

The ethereal being languidly smiled, this smile caused the essence of the realm to jump in joy and converge around the god, shrouding him in a corona of light akin to a sun. At the same time a mischievous light shone in the God's eyes, "And… We will start now."

A wall of Astral Qi[1] gently secluded the wide-eyed couple from the ancestors. Giving the couple privacy for what was about to come.

"My dear children, I shall now pass my Astral blood essence to you - prepare." Commanded the Astral God.

The dream-like couple sat face to face with a lotus stance and revolved the Qi within their bodies. At the same time, they did this, the ethereal being produced two drops of Astral blood essence. The couple instantly noticed that the blood vitality of the Astral God weakened considerably.

"Do not worry, my blood essence can regenerate it will just take some time." The Astral God gently chided.

These two blood drops seemed to encompass the whole world with spiralling nebulas, and radiant celestial bodies that shimmered with esoteric laws of the universe. Gentle streams of the purest Astral Qi gently flowed between the heavenly bodies and natural formations within the blood drops. A single drop of blood would cause even the most pinnacle beings of the multi-verses to go red-eyed with envy. Even other Primordial Gods.

This is a drop of blood from one of the arcane Primordial Universe Gods, the personification of the Astral Laws of the Universe! Just a fraction of a drop would invoke a nirvanic rebirth, changing one's destiny forever; one's new body would incorporate a phenomenal cultivation talent, a heavenly bodily constitution and access to a portion of Astral Qi!

The two blood drops moved separately towards Jasmine and Cestra and entered through their foreheads. "You will receive a significant baptism of laws, much more than the people outside, but nothing other than that. All the benefits will be produced by your unborn child", the Astral God informed the couple.

"The Astral Laws of the Primordial Way will be at his beck-and-call, as he matures, even the most esoteric of laws will submit to him."

The couple's happiness was palpable through the aura they released. Even if they had to forgo all the benefits for their son they would do it instantly; their child's pride is their pride.

The couple felt an uncontrollable heat start forming within their bodies, their eyes snapped open from their meditative stances, intractable lust within their sights.

"Alright, time to gaze at the vast sky," the ethereal being closed the Qi wall closing off the couple from the world, not a sound or sight making its way through, "I did create this sky, I know it too well… maybe I could peek at how the couple is doing? Well, that's not very regal and god-like of me. It's so incredibly tiring acting stoic and cold. Indeed, I can't look, that's unbecoming of a mighty being like me. And why do they keep calling me He!?" The Astral God inwardly grumbled to itself.

During the deity's shameless monologue, it never took its spiritual sense off the couple.
