Chapter 21 Where Are You Going?
It was pitch black in the luxurious villa.
The air was filled with the strong smell of alcohol, and the curtains were drawn tightly, blocking out the light outside.
Carefully, a servant pushed open the door to send a few bottles of wine into the room. Then, she fled the room, not daring to utter a single word.
Fu Beiting sat on the sofa in a drunken stupor. His handsome face was flushed red and his eyes were bloodshot. He held a bottle of vodka in his hand and reeked of alcohol.
Several empty bottles were strewn across the carpet.
His face was plagued with exhaustion, but he could not fall asleep no matter what.
The moment he closed his eyes, he would see the scene of Qin Xiangwan lying in a pool of blood.
This scene was like a knife, slicing through his heart over and over again, leaving waves of intense pain.
Why did this happen?
Fu Beiting didn’t understand. He hated Qin Xiangwan so much and used countless ways to torture her!
However, when he saw her get hit by a car last night, his heart felt like it was being torn apart and his entire body had become numb.
He was in so much pain!
Amidst the strong smell of alcohol, Fu Beiting finally passed out. He muttered unconsciously, “Xiangwan… Xiangwan…”
The room was very quiet and the servants didn’t dare to disturb him. President Fu was extremely angry when he returned that day and scolded anyone he saw.
Fu Beiting was immersed in the darkness. In a haze, he seemed to see light in front of him. As the light flashed past, he suddenly found himself returned to the past, back when he was still a teenager.
His younger self stood in the Qin family’s garden with a cold expression. “Go away, I don’t like you,” he told Qin Xiangwan, who had a bright smile on her face.
However, Qin Xiangwan was not angry at all. She pointed at her slender calf and smiled at him. “I don’t believe you. If not, why did you help me bandage my wound when I fell earlier? You could have pretended not to see it. Also, you gave me a bracelet.”
She shook the bracelet, made of colorful stones, in her hand.
Fu Beiting said coldly, “That’s because-“
Before he could finish his sentence, he was interrupted by Qin Xiangwan’s laughter. “That’s because you’re embarrassed. Don’t deny it, I saw you blushing!”
The young Fu Beiting turned around and ignored the girl beside him. However, the tips of his ears were slightly flushed.
The image in his mind flashed, and he found himself after their wedding.
He staggered home after getting dead drunk from attending social events. “Why did you drink so much?” Qin Xiangwan rushed out of the kitchen and hurried over to help him.
Suddenly, Fu Beiting kicked her hard, causing her to fall to the ground.
Qin Xiangwan sat on the floor with a painful look on her face, holding her slightly bulging abdomen.
He reeked of alcohol and shouted, “Don’t touch me. A vicious woman like you is not fit to bear my child. Abort the child now, I’m divorcing you!”
“Beiting, you’re drunk…” Qin Xiangwan held her stomach and struggled to stand up.” Let me help you to the shower. “
“Get lost, don’t touch me! I want to divorce
you!”
He flailed his arms around but Qin Xiangwan dragged him into the bathroom and pushed him into the bathtub.
She helped him take off his shirt and carefully wiped away the dirt on his face. She made him take a bath and finally helped him onto the bed, allowing him to lie down comfortably.
The dead drunk Fu Beiting lay on the ground, his brows furrowed tightly.
In the past, whenever he was drunk, she would always be by his side, carefully cleaning him up and helping him to the bed.
But now, there was no one here to take care of him anymore.
Amidst the chaos, Fu Beiting vaguely saw Qin Xiangwan’s silhouette. She took a deep look at him, then turned around and walked into the distance.
“Xiangwan, where are you going…” He muttered and reached out his hand, “I’m drunk, come back!”
However, this time, she ignored him. She left him behind and walked into the haze before disappearing “Xiangwan! Xiangwan!”
Fu Beiting yelled loudly with his eyes closed. His voice was hoarse and filled with unprecedented panic.
