Su Meng and Xiao Mei got out of the room after they took a bath, Jiang Tingzhou also happened to walk out of his room. The three greeted each other, then went downstairs for breakfast. The atmosphere at the table was a little dull. Su Meng looked at Jiang Tingzhou, who was rarely quiet, and said jokingly, “Three year old Jiang, do you know that you are really naive?”

Jiang Tingzhou slowly raised his head, and his unusually quiet face instantly became alive for two minutes. He smiled casually and knocked on the bowl with his chopsticks. “Dwarf, are you taking advantage of me. By any chance you got addicted to me?”

Su Meng shook her head seriously, “I am not taking advantage of you, but stating the facts.”

Jiang Tingzhou took a sip of soy milk slowly, and said lazily, “Oh? Facts? How?”

Su Meng pondered for a moment, and said carefully, “Your grandpa couldn’t contact you, so he was very worried about you.”

Jiang Tingzhou calmed down again in an instant, as if he had lost all the fragrance in front of him, which made him lose his appetite. He put down the chopsticks in and lowered his eyes quietly. She didn’t know what he was thinking. Su Meng looked at the fragrant steamed buns in front of her, and said word by word, “Three year old Jiang, you should not be so naive anymore, okay?”

Su Meng knew that Jiang Tingzhou was young and frivolous. He did things regardless of the consequences, and relies solely on an impulse in his heart. As he left home alone without telling anyone. The consequence of doing so was that he made his grandfather, who cared about him, worry. His rebellion wouldn’t have any impact on his father, or his stepmother, or his half-brother. They were still a happy family. There would be no change because of his rebellion.

Su Meng didn’t know how much Jiang Tingzhou had achieved in her first life, but at least, before she had a fight with Su Sui, he was an unruly second-generation ancestor who squandered his precious youth and the countless wealth his mother left him. On the contrary, his two younger brothers were better than him.

“Was he really happy at that time?”

Obviously, in this life Su Meng realized that Jiang Tingzhou was actually a very good person. He looked serious on the outside, but he was warm and delicate on the inside. It was just that his warmth and delicacy didn’t appear in front of people as it was covered by his carefree attitude. But it didn’t mean his feelings were non-existent because of that. Without waiting for his answer, Su Meng bit her lower lip and asked again, “Okay?”

Her soft voice ringed in Jiang Tingzhou’s ears clearly and unmistakably. It was soft like a bun with white flour. Clean, pure white, and soft. People couldn’t refuse such a request. Jiang Tingzhou smiled lightly, “Okay.”

Su Meng breathed a sigh of relief. She thought of her Peppa Pig’s keychain that Jiang Tingzhou hadn’t returned. She stretched out her hand to him and said in a vicious voice, “Jiang Tingzhou, you haven’t returned my keychain yet!”

Jiang Tingzhou deliberately pretended to be foolish, “What keychain?”

“It’s the keychain of Peppa Pig, you return it to me soon.” Su Meng’s hand was stretched.

The next second, Jiang Tingzhou leaned his chin against Su Meng’s palm and said lazily, “Here, I’m paying you back.”

Su Meng’s palms seemed to be on fire and she immediately took them back. “Three year old Jiang, you promised that you won’t be so naive!”

After Su Meng backed her hand, Jiang Tingzhou straightened up and smiled playfully, “Then…  Can I just be naive to you?”

Su Meng completely underestimated the thickness of Jiang Tingzhou’s face, “You!”

Xiao Mei chuckled. Su Meng was scrupulous about Xiao Mei’s presence, she bit her lower lip, and said nothing, but gave Jiang Tingzhou a vicious look. By the time the group was done with shopping, it was already 7 o’clock in the evening. They returned to Beijing by train, and it was 8 o’clock in the evening when they returned to the colony. After saying goodbye to Jiang Tingzhou, Su Meng took Xiao Mei’s hand and walked home. Grandma Zhang opened the door for her. Su Meng felt that there seemed to be something different at home. The joy on Grandma Zhang’s face was too obvious, and the house was more lively. Su Meng roughly explained Xiao Mei’s affairs to Grandma Zhang. She then quickly asked, “Grandma, did anything good happen at home?”

Grandma Zhang said with joy, “There is a good thing. Your uncle has returned to China today. He is on the road now, and will be home soon!”
