When Jiang Tingzhou saw Su Meng panic, he couldn’t help it and laughed out loud, “Okay, I won’t tease you, this was the place that my mother invested in before she was gone. I brought you here to see it today.”

Jiang Tingzhou was joking. Su Meng let out a sigh of relief. She gave him a fierce look, and then took the lead to walk into the place. He followed with a smile.

“Judging from the name, it should be a gift from Jiang Tingzhou’s mother to him.”

The overall style there was like a country house. After staying in a prosperous city for a long time, coming to such a lush place gave people a sense of tranquility, far-reaching, and genuineness. There weren’t many types there, but they were all special. Maybe she wanted to create a more natural theme, so rooms were built on trees. And such a thing was given a nice name, “Romantic Dome Treehouse.”

Jiang Tingzhou’s mother must be a gentle and interesting person, and she also loved Jiang Tingzhou very much which is why she named that resort after Jiang Tingzhou. It was just a pity that she was no longer there. Although Jiang Tingzhou deliberately teased her when she was outside the hotel, after coming in, he walked quietly in front, as if caught in a certain emotion. The two sat down in a pavilion. Fortunately, summer had passed, so there weren’t many mosquitoes. The evening breeze was neither cold nor hot, it blew on the body, making people feel comfortable and cozy. Living in the city for a long time, people get used to the fast-paced life in the city. But after visiting that resort, Su Meng’s heart had completely relaxed and the pace had also slowed down. That was a place to relax.

It was already night. Most of the Treehouses there were already occupied. The customers who came there had a literary heart, so occasionally they could hear beautiful singing with the wind.  Jiang Tingzhou put his hands under his head and lay down on the chair. He put one leg straight, one leg slightly bent, and looked up at the pavilion.

After the two were quiet for a while, Jiang Tingzhou said, “Actually, I have only been here once.”

The only time he came was on the day when they held a groundbreaking opening ceremony. That year, he was less than ten years old, at the age of playfulness. He broke a tent-style room, resulting in a loss of nearly 1,500 that night. But even if he broke the tent-style room, his mother just touched his head gently, instead of scolding him. Because of a mother’s selfless love for her son, she embraced all his willful and playful nature.

Su Meng held her chin in her hands, “What then? Is this your second time here?”

Jiang Tingzhou gave a hum. She lowered her eyes. She was a little curious, “Why did you suddenly decide to come today?”

He hadn’t visited the place for so many years, just because he was afraid of getting hurt. So why did he bring her there?

Jiang Tingzhou chuckled. He sat up slowly, and took a deep look at her, “Because people always have to look forward.”

After that, he wanted to show her around. Under the leadership of Jiang Tingzhou, Su Meng slowly understood the charm of that homestay. The design there was warm and sweet, with quotations from ‘Forrest Gump’ and cartoon characters from ‘Alice’s Adventures’ on the walls. Just peeking into a small corner of the entire homestay, people sigh at the simplicity but closeness of the design.

Jiang Tingzhou walked to the three clear concrete sculptures under a certain tree, and the memories of the past were back.

“My mother was a designer. Here, whether it is the sculpture in front of me, the decoration design of the rooms, or the overall design, she designed it all one by one.”

Su Meng was taken aback. Unexpectedly, Jiang Tingzhou’s mother actually created that place for him. Just from his words, Su Meng could imagine how good she was.

Jiang Tingzou continued, “Originally, this place was mainly for parenting, but gradually, parenting became the most insignificant aspect.”

He smiled. Jiang Tingzhou was a bit sad. It was his birthday. It was supposed  to be a happy day but he didn’t look very happy. It must be because he thought of his mother.
