Chapter 261: Performance

"Alright, what are the monsters that you want to fight?" the officer in charge asked, "The monster will be Type 4 Sergo Alpha, type 3 ghouls, type 3 Lone Spiked wolves, type 3 Naga Slaughterer, type 3 Naga Devourer. With 4 waves, and the numbers each will not increase of 15 lowest is 5" the officer in charge smiled while hearing the monsters that Fang Shirong and the group will be fighting.

Fang Shirong replied was a salute and turned around, walking out of the control room. The officer in charge then turns around and said, "Our enemy will be the 29th. Remember what happened last time they could beat us and now that they have come back we need to beat them now."

The officer in charge put his hands on his waist and seat on his chair. Where he can see all the monitors from all the control officers. "Control officer for Settings. The scenario is a devastated city." And the control officer replied.

"Copy that Sir" and then started typing on his monitor. And inside of the dome it slowly materializes the place into an urban scene where ruined buildings and some destroyed cars. As added effect of the feeling of a destroyed city.

The officer in charge then looked at the control officer which controls the monsters that will spawn inside of the dome "The Monsters are specified to Type 4 Sergo Alpha, type 3 ghouls, type 3 Lone Spiked wolves, type 3 Naga Slaughterer, type 3 Naga Devourer."

"Copy that, Sir, generating monsters genes. Sir," the control officer replied and the officer in charge looked at the control officer, who was in command of how many waves. And how many monsters they will spawn in each wave.

"Now, for waves of monsters, there will 4 waves. The first wave will be 10 type 3 ghouls, 5 type 3 Lone Spiked wolves and last will be 10 type 3 Naga Slaughterers. 2nd wave 5 type 3 Lone spiked wolves, 5 type 3 Naga Devourer and 10 type 3 Slaughterers. 3 wave will be 10 type 3 Naga Slaughterers, 10 type 3 Lone Spiked Wolves, 15 type 3 ghouls. For our 4th wave, it will be 15 Type 4 Sergo Alpha Monsters and 15 type 3 Lone spiked wolves."

"Copy that Sir monsters' numbers have been input." The control officer looked at the officer in charge. The officer in charge gave a smirk.

"I don't think they will hold this kind of charade for long. Arrogance and pride won't be the key," he whispered while looking at the monitor.

Fang Shirong looked at the entire group.

"Now we are going into 2 separate teams and 1 support team. The two team leaders will be me and Cai Dinxiang. The support unit will be Zia Tengfei and the medical specialist. Under the first team will be the primary strike force Li Xiaosheng and Qin Shanyuan added by Dai Lanfen and the 1st and 2nd fire team. The 2nd team will be 2nd strike team will be Li Ye, Wen Xin and Cai Dinxiang. Under your team will be the 3rd fireteam." Fang Shirong looked at them and all of them seem to not worry about where and what they were under.

"The settings of the simulation inside will be an urban setting, so there will be buildings. Now for our plan we will conduct an overview assault with primary defense and offense at the middle which means I want the 2nd strike team to find a suitable overlooking place preferred to be a building to be occupied and from there they can attack the enemy from below. From that, they can surely hold and delay the enemy as the vanguard is holding the line and won't break.

Because the 2nd strike team is far from the attack of the enemy, the support team medical specialist of the fireteams will be on your back as support while Zia Tengfei will on us because the 1st strike team will mostly face most of the enemy frontal attacks." Fang Shirong looked at each of the faces of the soldiers in front of him.

Then a notice appeared at the door of the simulation dome. [You are now allowed to enter the simulation. Doom, good luck]

"Let's go boys fireteams show them what you guys got. You are not just a support unit of the 29th Tactical Unit." Fang Shirong needs to boost the Red blood Armored Knights. And the knights replied with "Yes, Sir!" with their confident voices. They then entered the simulation and, like what Fang Shirong has explained, the simulation dome became a real urban setting.

A destroyed city. The group got amazed at what they have seen and Fang Shirong quickly said, "Focus on the mission. We are not here for the sight. seeing am I clear!" with that all of their curiosity change into focus. Like what they plan, they split the team into two teams.

[Control room]

"Impressive. They could plan out this terrain well, putting the other team onto an overview location while the primary force will focus on the line." The officer in charge remark as he was looking at the monitor.

"Sir, shall we start the simulation? They have seemed to prepare their attack on this simulation very well, sir," the control officer that is in charge of the program start of the simulation dome. "Begin the simulation," the officer in charge ordered and from that the entire control room to change into a dark room as they seem to enter a battle for control room.

[Simulation Dome]

The sound in the background was gunfire and like there was a war nearby. The essence of a real battle was well simulated inside the dome. And the group was now all in position, and Fang Shirong was leading the whole offense. He then tapped the comms that were wrapped around his neck.

[Radio: all players buff yourselves because we surely going to fight a long battle.]

From that, Li Xiaosheng and Qin Shanyuan both put their swords near their faces. And whispered "Defiant call" as they both whispered gently and their armor slowly let out a pink glow.

After that, they thrust their sword down to the ground and whispered, "Last Sword Call" With that, their swords let out a pink glow which increase their damage on the enemy forces that they will face. At the back Fang Shirong whispered "Death terror" both of eyes slowly became void black while his retina is bright red, then his damage and power increased.

Behind the three players Zia Tengfei raised her staff and whispered "Divine Progression" and with that it added all the members in squad defense in each of their bodies. And the siren at the start of the simulation came.

The first wave had spawned, and the first monsters that Li Xiaosheng saw were ghouls.

Li Xiaosheng smiled and stand his ground while the first monster that Qin Shanyuan saw was the Lone spiked wolves that came out from their left side growling.

What Fang Shirong saw was the Slaughterers, that when he tapped his comms and said.

[Radio: I want those snakes to be burned. Strike 2 you are clear of fire. Fireteams on strike one fire when ready]
