35 Long Tian

In the Desolate world, 5 continents existed. Their respective names were the Northern Continent, the Western Continent, the Southern Continent, the Eastern Continent, and the Middle Continent.

The Western Continent was inhabited by the Ten Thousand Beast race. The other continents expect the Middle Continent was inhabited by humans and some other beast races.

In the Eastern Continent, in the Fire Kingdom, five major powerhouses existed here. Their respective names were the Imperial family, Xiao clan, Long clan, Yun clan, and Feng clan. All of these clans were located in the imperial city.

In the Long clan, there was a small boy who was inside a shack, laying down on the hay. He looked about the age of 8 and his body was pale. Though the boy was pale, it wasn't able to hide his cute face. Surely, he would turn out to be quite the handsome lad if he were to grow up.8

In the Long clan, this child used to be the young master of the clan. His father used to be the patriarch of the Long clan. When the child was only 4, his father mysteriously disappeared with his mother. The Long clan searched for them, but no trace of them was left behind. The child, Long Tian, was the young master of the clan so he had all rights to be the patriarch, but due to his young age, the grand elder took his place. Only when Long Tian matured would he receive his position as the true patriarch.

Due to the disappearance of his parents, Long Tian began to cultivate in order to get strong and search for his parents. When Long Tian reached 5 years old, he reached the first stage of Martial Student. At the age of 6, Long Tian reached the 9th stage of Martial Student and a day later, broke through to the first stage of Martial Master.

Long Tian's cultivation was truly unheard of. He was a genius among geniuses. At just the age of 6, he broke through to the Martial Master realm. In the Fire Kingdom, though Martial Master experts weren't considered extremely rare, most of them were part of these 5 powerful clans. The most elitist of all disciples would mostly be around the first stage of Martial Master, but those disciples would be around the age of 18.

Even the imperial family decided to marry their third princess to Long Tian. The other clans didn't want to lose the chance of hooking in this genius and offered their young mistress to Long Tian. The grand elder realized that at the speed of Long Tian's cultivation, he would truly surpass him soon. In order to stop Long Tian from surpassing him, the grand elder hired an assassin. The assassin poisoned Long Tian which resulted in the destruction of his spiritual veins.

Without spiritual veins, Long Tian couldn't cultivate any more. In Desolate World, spiritual veins were considered the decider of your life. Spiritual veins were graded from least to highest: Yellow, Black, Earth, Heaven, and Divine. Those who had yellow spiritual veins were considered mediocre, while those who had black spiritual veins were considered geniuses.

The grand elder suspected Long Tian of having either black or earth spiritual veins. With the destruction of the spiritual veins, other families immediately took back their marriage contracts, but unfortunately for the Imperial family, they had already handed the marriage contract to Long Tian.

On Long Tian's 7th birthday, the grand elder demoted him from young master to a servant while the grand elder's son was promoted as the new young master. Starting from his 7th birthday, the new young master, Long Han, would come and beat him up. The third princess who didn't like the fact that her father arranged a marriage between her and trash, decided to request Long Han to bring her the marriage contract.

Today, on Long Tian's 8th birthday, instead of receiving gifts and such, all he received was the beating of Long Han. Today's beating was the worst of all because Long Tian had died from it. When Long Han saw that Long Tian died, he was startled and put Long Tian inside his shack while he ran away with the marriage contract.

It was at this moment that the sky began to darken. Thundered roared through the sky as random lightning bolts hit the ground. It was a weird phenomenon, for it just randomly started to rain. After it rained for a while, everyone thought it wasn't anything abnormal anymore so they ignored it. Before the rain ended, lightning gathered on one spot on the sky and struck through Long Tian's shack.

The lightning hit Long Tian's body and disappeared so fast that no one realized it even hit the ground. Once it had hit Long Tian's body, the rain stopped and the clouds dispersed.

On top of the hay, Long Tian's body laid there lifelessly. Inside his body, the lightning bolt that had struck him was running havoc. It destroyed his spiritual veins and rebuilt them. It also destroyed his dantian and created a better one. All in all, the lightning was rebuilding Long Tian's body.

Once the lightning finished, it went inside Long Tian's sea of consciousness and used its remaining power to rebuild that. After the lightning disappeared, the soulless body gained a new soul. It was as if Long Tian came back to life, but that wasn't what had happened.

Hou Yan who thought he was going to reincarnate was forced to enter Long Tian's body. It was no longer Long Tian, but Hou Yan. When Hou Yan opened his eyes, he was confused as to where he was. Then, all of a sudden, memories of the previous owner rushed into his head. Hou Yan didn't know whether to feel excited or cry. What had he done to that system to make him reincarnate inside a trash ex-young master's body?

When he walked up to the gates, it felt as if the dragons were staring at him. Long Tian couldn't help but feel inferior in front of these carved dragons. After a few seconds, the gates opened up by themselves.

"Hmm, so these dragons would scan your body to see if you are qualified to go in? Interesting."

Inside, there was an exquisite wall standing tall. The wall had carvings on them and when Long Tian tried to read them, he felt like his head was going to split. All he was able to read was the first line.

'A genius before, but trash now. Change thy fate, and become unparallel!'

When Long Tian finished reading the line, the words began to glow and popped out of the wall. With great speed, they entered Long Tian's soul. Long Tian was startled for a minute, but he began to smile. And from a smile to a laugh as if he had just won the lottery.

What Long Tian gained was a divine cultivation technique. Also known as <<7 Headed Divine Dragon>> cultivation technique. It said that once he practices this technique to a certain level, it will upgrade to a better one.

While Long Tian was celebrating, an unknown force pushed Long Tian out of the gates and the gates closed. Seeing that he couldn't enter anymore, Long Tian entered out of his consciousness. Long Tian thought of starting his cultivation journey immediately, but then he realized that if he began to cultivate here, then others might notice that his spiritual veins restored.

During the nighttime, Long Tian gathered his stuff and snuck out of the Long clan. While he was sneaking out, a guard saw him and immediately left his post and headed towards the grand elder's court. Long Tian headed towards the nearest mountain and most famous mountain in the Fire Kingdom, Burning Mountain. In the history of the kingdom, it was noted down that there was once a phoenix that descended upon this mountain and entered its nirvanic period. Its flames set the peak of the mountain in flames and the mountain began to be inhabited by many beats.

Deep in the mountain, it was full of fire type beats.

At the foot of the mountain, Long Tian searched for a cave. He found a small cave and went inside it. Long Tian decided to stay in there until he broke through the first stage of Martial Student.

Meanwhile, the guard that went towards the grand elder's, but now known as the patriarch, court.

"What the matter to seek out for me?"

"Patriarch, I just wanted to report to you that the trash of the Long clan, Long Tian, secretly left."

"Oh? Looks like he couldn't handle it anymore and decided to live the life of a mortal. Forget about him, that trash is finally gone. Our Long clan will no longer be the laughing stock anymore."

"As you command patriarch!"

All the other clans learned about Long Tian's leave. Inside the imperial family, the third princess, Nangong Xinyue was laughing as she learned about the news.

"Haha, that trash finally gave up. I always knew he was a wimp that was a coward."

She laughed as she burnt the marriage contract. She only hated Long Tian because she was forced to be his fiance, but that was no more. She was finally free, free from being trash. If it was before, she would've sent someone to assassinate him, but now that she was no longer connected to him in any way, she could care less about this trash.

Six days had passed and now it has been a week since Long Tian started to cultivate. Other clans forgot about him and didn't even care whether he was alive or not. In these 7 days, Long Tian finally broke through to the first stage of Martial Student. He was now considered a cultivator. His lifespan has increased and his strength has soared high. But this wasn't enough to challenge the monsters inside the mountain.

The Martial Student realm was divided into 9 stages. To go from one stage to another, you needed to gather spiritual qi into your body and strengthen it. With each level of increase, one's body would become stronger. To go from no cultivation to the first stage of Martial Student in a week would consider him a genius among geniuses.
