Chen Mo and Lin Xue’s dragons caught the attention of quite a few players.
Many went straight to Chen Mo’s World after buying the game so there were quite a few players here. The two crystal dragons flying by obviously caught a lot of attention.
Many tried to chase after it in hopes of learning where they got the dragon. However, the dragon was too fast and it didn’t take long for them to be dropped.
Lin Xue was on the dragon in the sky, feeling great as everything flew by in a flash, leaving the other players in the dust.
“Is this what it feels like to spend a bunch of money in a game?”
Chen Mo kept flying upwards as they flew past the huge dense forest. Soon, the two of them reached a location with great views, overlooking the buildings underneath them.
“My goodness!” Lin Xue was so shocked words failed to come out of her mouth.
The world was split into many huge valleys, something one could only notice from high up in the sky. There were many buildings in each of the valleys, closely resembling a town in real life.
There was a huge modern city in the middle as she could barely make out the skyscrapers and a few other noteworthy buildings such as Eiffel Tower, and Oriental Pearl TV Tower. These buildings were scattered across the huge city, blending into their surroundings so as to not stick out.
Many of the buildings in the modern city were from buildings in real life, an amalgamation of buildings of different themes of sorts.
Of course, this city was a ways away from a real life city. Although it was small, it had everything a city needed, commercial area, industrial area, residential area, villa area. The composition was also quite logical and completely stunning.
“This is the central city. Most real-life buildings exist here,” explained Chen MO.
He then pointed at the huge area to the left of the central city, “That is the ancient distinct, the Forbidden City and Old Summer Palace are there.”
That was a group of Chinese style buildings. The Forbidden City was at the most northern part of the city facing south, occupying the most dominant position in the city.
Not far away from the Forbidden City was the Old Summer Palace, which also took up a huge area.
Other than these buildings that appeared in videos, she could make out other ancient Chinese buildings such as Yueyang Tower, Yellow Crane Tower, Classical Gardens of Suzhou, Songyue Pagoda, Qianling Mausoleum, Temple of Heaven, and Yongle Palace.
As these buildings had different styles, there were forests separating these buildings.
The tombs of emperors like Qianling Mausoleum were simply built on a relatively distant hillside and only reachable via a long stone path.
Chen Mo pointed at a random mountain (Of course, Lin Xue couldn’t tell which he was pointing at because it was so far away), “Do you see the mountain below Qianling Mausoleum? I plan to build the Emperor Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum there, but I haven’t gotten around to it yet.”
Lin Xue was utterly shocked, “Emperor Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum? That hadn’t even been excavated yet, right? How are you going to build it?”
“I’ll just have to imagine it, there have been many descriptions in the past anyways. Even if I really can’t handle it, I should at least have the Terracotta Army built.”
“I’m on my knees.”
Chen Mo continued to go through the buildings, “The northwest of the ancient building district contains western fantasy buildings.
Lin Xue was struggling to distinguish between the buildings, “What are these? There seemed to be buildings from the middle ages, as well as a couple other weird ones, and… Huh? Isn’t that Tristam Cathedral?”
“Yeah, the distinct is split into two smaller areas. On the left is Diablo related buildings, containing buildings such as Tristram Cathedral and Bastion’s Keep. The right side contains buildings from the world of Azeroth such as Stormwind City and Lordaeron Ruins.
“Stormwind City?” exclaimed Lin Xue, “My goodness, you even built buildings from the world of Azeroth? What about the Frozen Throne?”
“… I haven’t’ gotten around to that yet,” replied Chen Mo, “I’m slowly chipping through them as there’s so much to work on. Stormwind City and Lordaeron Ruins are the two buildings that are close to completion in the western fantasy district.
“That’s incredible, I wanna go see Stormwind City!”
“Hold on, let me go through the other districts first.
“The large open space on the east side of the western fantasy area is reserved for the new game, things will be added to it once that comes out, but I haven’t decided on what theme yet.
“The huge patch of ocean to the right of the central city is the lost city of Atlantis.
The south of Atlantis will be world buildings. It’s empty so far, but I plan to add the Sphinx, pyramids and Hanging Gardens of Babylon there.
There are three smaller distincts to the south of the central city that will serve as a display area. I will add interesting tools and weapons, split into ancient, modern, and future.
“Ancient weapons include cold weapons, carriages, as well as mythical creatures such as dragons and Gryphons.
“Modern area includes tanks and planes.
“Future will contain spaceships and space stations.
“But most of these are still empty as I haven’t had the time to do it.
Lin Xue was completely shocked. What was going on?
Is this the same game I’m playing?
Lin Xue exclaimed, “I-is this what your team built during the development phase? That means that in half a year, not only was the game in development, a massive project like this was in the works too?
“Uhh, more accurately, it’s built by me alone, why else would it be called ‘Chen Mo’s World?’” replied Chen Mo.
Lin Xue was so shocked words weren’t coming out of her mouth.
Chen Mo had the crystal dragon descend, “Come, let’s give Stormwind City a visit.
The dragons were fast, but even then it took them nearly ten minutes to reach their destination.
Chen Mo and Lin Xue landed their crystal dragons at the main entrance of Stormwind City.
Past the front gate, Lin Xue was on the main path of Stormwind City, with statues filling up the sides of the moat.
“That’s Turalyon, Khadgar, Alleria Windrunner… There aren’t any signs yet, I’ll add them later,” explained Chen Mo.
Lin Xue raised her head to look at the massive sculptures. Although they were pixel art, they were incredibly detailed. She could understand the postures and even a little bit of their expressions.
“How did you make the nose and mouth?” asked Lin Xue.
“Oh, there’s a chisel mode. You can split any block into sixty-four smaller blocks for finer detailed works.”
Lin Xue got back on her crystal dragon to admire these statues further away.
“…Manager, you’re not human!”
