Chapter 49 - The Punishment...

Rose didn't expected him to be get this much of angry. No doubt he is a very nice man and always do justice with his people.

Suddenly her eyes fall on the name plate that was on the desk in front of her and when she read that she couldn't believe in her eyes at that time. It was written as 'Marcus Knight'! Which has only one meaning and that is he is non other than Lucas's father. No doubt he is exuding such a powerful aura exactly like Lucas but not more than Lucas because still now Lucas's presence is strongest for her then anyone else. Finally she remembered that where she had seen him actually. She had seen him in the portrait that was hung on the wall in Lucas's villa.

And because of that she suddenly started to feel nervous sitting in front of him.

"Don't worry child. I will teach them the lesson that they have never ever imagined in their life." Marcus said lovingly because he was really feeling pity towards this poor child. But one thing he was still very confused about that why did Daniel came there for this girl's rescue? He knew Daniel very much that how cunning that boy is and how much jealousy he has towards his own son Lucas. Lucas and Daniel's rivalry is known to all over the college and Marcus also comes to know about it. But he knew his own son's capability that he alone himself is very capable to handle the man like Daniel. So he had never interfere in between them. And also he and Daniel's father have a very peaceful pact in between their clans because of which he doesn't wants to mingle in any matter related to Daniel otherwise it will bring the unnecessary havoc in between the two clans.

But he was sure one thing about Daniel is he would never have come to rescue of anyone rather watch them suffer miserably. But why now he came to the rescue for this poor girl. Then his mind suddenly clicked to the point that Daniel must have behind this girl right now.

Looking at the innocent face of Rose he thought that Daniel must have behind this girl's blood or may be body. That's why he may acting like a superhero so that he can own this girl's trust. That's why he couldn't help himself but got worried about this girl by thinking about the consequences she may face if she gets lured by Daniel. So he thought it's better to warn her before it gets too late.

"Do you know the boy who saved you from them?" Marcus asked her.

"Yes sir. He is a friend of mine and I'm very greatful to him that he came at the exact time for my rescue otherwise I don't want to think that what would have happen with me..." Rose said getting slightly panicked by remembering the memories of that incident.

Marcus seems to understand her feelings but he never had consoled anyone in his whole life except the love of his life and Lucas's mother. So he couldn't decide how to make this poor child to feel better because he can sense how terrified she must have felt at that time and he just can't let this innocent girl sitting in front of him getting trapped by Daniel's web so easily.

"Don't get me wrong but you know who he actually is?" He asked and she just nodded her head at him.

"Yes I know that he is not a human but still he had never misbehaved with me ever." She replied.

Now Marcus got sure that Daniel must have some cunning motives behind his actions.

"I don't know if I should interfere in your personal matter or not but I want give you an advice and that is to stay away from Daniel as much as possible. I know very well what type of guy is he. At first he will try to win your trust and then it won't take him even a second to break the trust because of which you will be the one who will gonna suffer in the end." Marcus said and she just got dumbfounded for a moment. Even the chancellor was saying her to stay away from Daniel.

"I know sir and don't worry I am fully aware of that. I was just greatful to him that he rescued me in the right time. But there is no relationships in between us because like you said my friends had also warned me to stay away from him and even possible they just don't let me face to face with Daniel." She said politely but she couldn't risk to tell him that his own son is the one preventing her to be friend with Daniel, that's why she just told Marcus that it's her friends.

"Hmm good... Don't ever fall into his innocent trap dear child." He said.

"I will keep that in mind sir." Rose replied politely and at that exact time the previous man entered into the room with those bunch of boys who tried to harras Rose.

"Say sorry to her. Now!" Marcus said to those boys in his calm but threatening tone and they just got shivered violently. They had never came across with the chancellor of this university but now they are facing him they just couldn't help but started to get intimidate by him.

Without wasting any more time they all said sorry to her in unison. And she just said it's ok to her but deep inside she was not satisfied that they are only asking her for sorry! But she had full belief on Lucas's father that he will surely punish them severely.

"You all are expelled from this university and also call your parents so that I can show them the CCTV footage that why you all just got expelled from this university. Now you all can go and pack your things." Marcus announced his decision very calmly but all the boys got horrified for a moment. They have never thought that something like this will happen with them.

They all wanted to beg, plead that not to do this with them but they can't because they knew the consequences will far more worse than this. So it's better to obey the things this chancellor is telling them. They can get any other college in the country but if they dared to tell him the truth then they will just directly lose their life, which is the least thing they wanted to be happen.

"Do you have to say anything else or want to clarify your sides because I'm giving you an opportunity to explain yourselves that why you all did that thing with her but if you all have nothing to say then I can't do anything else for you." Marcus said because he wanted to know the real reason behind it because he has somehow doubt in his mind that someone must have forced him otherwise why a normal human just want to be expelled from the reputed university!

But to his surprise they all didn't said anything and Marcus couldn't help but sighed helplessly. He also didn't wanted to know the things very deeply because he has to do so many important things other than to solving this problem. And he also knew that they all will definitely get any other good college for their study so he doesn't have to worry about their career but one thing he was sure that he can't let them study here in the university.

"You all can go now." Marcus said and the boys left from there but not before casting a very hateful glare towards Rose and Marcus seems to notice that along with Rose but she just ignored them because she knew whatever punishment they got, they just deserved that...
