18 The Awakening

I noticed an energy entering me using me as an conduit but wanting to seep out again. A gut feeling urged me to send the energy into the tree and I willed the energy to do the same.

Suddenly I felt like I joined with the Ilphyr tree and felt the energy invigorating the tree. I also noticed a black slimy organism that was sucking energy of of the tree which I instinctually understood as the Zukr.

After sending energy out for a long time I felt my concentration slipping and becoming lethargic. I slowly took my hands from the tree and noticed Tulga,Ooyun,Jarkal and sarnai standing behind me. They were looking at the tree with a shocked face.

I turned to see why they were shocked and saw that pure white flowers have bloomed all over the tree and there were a lot of Lhasa, Phir and Nectr fruits.

"Look!!! Look!!! the Zukr vine has become thin and dying" exclaimed tulga in wonder. The four collectively decided they needed to call the chief. I sat down under the tree tiredly.
