Chapter 21 - Blood Bending Virus Factory

The different things we held sacred, divine, sorcery, and impossible through places and time. The range of supplication and rites through ages humanity finds. Nations arise as old civilizations crumble to dust, waiting to die. 12,000 years, yet the one who carried the tradition and humanity's footprint is an Oni from the underworld. This reminds you of the manga and anime from that time. Do they preserve that as well? You might want to befriend Ketanium to find out.

Testing the 'Blood Bending Virus', you insert your consciousness thread into the metallic robot the Chrolings made. There are many commands displayed within the virus and with little understanding of programming, you have successfully brought the virus out from your metaphysical orb. You believe that the metallic chibi robot is only an imaginary gimmick within your mana sea but it actually comes out as it originally shapes from your depository realm. The metal chibi is also as tiny as a real virus.

But why in the shape of a cute chibi though?

With bad piloting knowledge, you accidentally infect your own blood.

"Fuc—"

The metal chibi robot dissolves into a dense circuit contraption, hosting the blood cell. To prevent a self killing plague breakout, you shift the variable into a factory mode only and then automate the future candidate virus with a variable that disables the 'Blood Seeking Circuit', preventing the deoxygenation of the blood cell and probably the end of your life.

"Ah, you look tired." Says Ketanium, "Oh yeah, your belongings. I'll bring it to you real quick.

She then departs, leaving you with a death stare from your doppelganger that got neck-crucified without the horizontal line into a tree with an ōdachi instead of nails.

Within the timespan, your infected blood cell has generated five metal chibi robots ready to be deployed, it turns out that protein is a great circuit catalyst! Unlike the stick branch, protein can handle the stress of the mana circuit for continuous and consecutive use. You might want to transfer your 'Ashura Body Array' on your mana sea to be placed onto your whole blood, continuing your Chuunibyou's dream.

For the viruses, you can't control many of them yet—let alone every single one of your blood cells, you guide each of them one by one through your circulatory system as it is the closest route to the outside from your mana sea, ignoring a big hole on your leg shin.

Before commencing operation 'Blood for the Blood God', you kindly ask one of the Chrolings to calculate and see if they can make the 'Blood Bending Virus' to not infect the fundamental amount of blood cells crucial for your body's survival.

They nod and give you a salute, in just a second they begin to work on the specialized forcefield.

The five virus squadron rushes and seeps into the pool of blood and then eventually the extra load that your body can't handle. Just like a death plague, liters of blood are now within your grasp of control. By utilizing the dodecahedron shape of ferromagnetism and magnetic field, you can assemble the deoxygenated blood into any shape.

The hype is blinding, you immediately force your crippled mana depository to shape the infected blood into a sword. Considering that you're a twerp who's just learned something, you couldn't even hold the straight shapes and sharpness, resulting in an ominous shaped blood sword. Because it would be really unrealistic for someone to just suddenly master a new technique given to them.

"Pfft!"

You send a splash into the devil's face, completely drying up her cockiness.

"Fufufu, just you wait, Chronos!"

The devil throws her gaze away, "You're so petty."

"Anywho, what should I call you? Cause I'm sick of referring to you as 'devil' and 'doppelganger' in my head."

"Your worst nightmare."

"I'm not joking."

"Fine, just call me Lues, either way. You're supposed to seal me back again before I wreck havoc on the mortal realm, my dear Lamentor~."

"Is that my real name?"

"That is your title, dumbass."

"Says the one who got wrecked hard. I'm still surprised that you can speak with a beam on your neck."

"I'm not a human."

"Sounds obvious already. Still, the candy lady is really strong, huh."

"This is because you let yourself be reverted into a brat! You don't know the great loss you did to humanity!!"

You dull your expression, "Heeee, this is my body, what is your deal to meddle someone's problem? Wait, are you a pervert!? Creep!"

"Dumbass! Because I'm part of your—"

The tan oni comes into view, "Yoshu! Here! All of your belongings that I can find near this area. Ah, family quarrel?"

"WE'RE NOT!" You and your haunting reflection shout simultaneously before a thought hits you. "Wait, isn't it obvious that she is just an evil spirit!?"

"Ah, I thought she was your twin sister. Considering both of you have the same soul wavelength."

"I refuse to have a twin twerp sibling."

"I also refuse to have a psycho maniac as my twin."

The oni then glances over at the pool of blood, "Ah, you're a quick learner. It took me two days to grasp the content within. I'll give you the second arc after you make it out alive."

"Wait, 'you'? I'm going to go alone from here!?"

"Apparently so, I'll keep an eye on your twin—evil spirit from here to make sure she doesn't go anywhere else."

"As if your puny stick can make me do so." Lues interfere.

A giggle wanting to come out from your mouth, "It already did tho."

Somber, just like the sky. The three of you stare at the iridescent flower field, letting out a whimper into the night as if the earth is trying to convey something to the dull-colored moon.

Ketanium conjures another red blade and shoves it into Lues's mouth, hoping that is enough to stitch her rambling. You can see the dissatisfaction on Lues's face. The oni is brute but it works.

Looking at your current luck, it seems like the deal with lady luck won't be made anytime soon. Either that the 4443 death streaks of your is a mere facade, or she lies that you will not make it at the 4444 tries. The pain is real nonetheless, it breaks you and helps you to be a bit tougher. Meaning that you might be less scared again in the future because of this incident.

Then again, how come she knows and you don't? Does this have anything to do with Chronos?

You haven't used Chronos's magic spell as well which is a good thing for you, because spite is thicker than water.

The oni sents you another red ray into your forehead—a literal printer-looking device appears from the sky of your mana sea. The necklace talisman is also regenerated, giving a blue hue of light once again.

"Keep the talisman a secret and make sure you don't lose it. I'll be keeping an eye on you from time to time. Conjuring this body is already tiring me out so don't go to anyone suspicious again." Says the oni.

"I'm not a child!"

A map is then printed from the printer, you couldn't expect less. A blood-like dot appears on the frame.

"This realm is really sketchy, there is an abundance of mana but something seems to be lurking nearby but I do recommend cultivating here for a while before going out."

"I see."

You use the little time you have converting the raw mana and build a more complex element inside your mana sea. Ketanium is there supervising both of your progress and the devil.

The big pool has now become a lake, there are numerous fruitless trees and patches of grass surrounding it. The Chrolings are also developing more facilities with the given resources, one of them is some kind of circuit factory that you can utilize to duplicate any circuit you submit depending on the complexity. Currently, you only have one spell so you want to save up three or five of them despite the mana cost—but the Chrolings disagree and instead, they trace down the factory-only blood cell you accidentally infected and absorb them into the mana sea.

The Virus Factory a.k.a the former accidental blood cell—is utilizing the protein, minerals and DNAs for the resources instead of mana. With some tempering on the circuit, you have created a permanent 'Blood Bending Virus' factory inside your mana sea.. It only needs your own blood cell to produce the product, an extremely cost effective facility.
