He was the only one on Earth who had vampire blood and at that time humans have become lenient and lazy thus they forgot to strengthen themselves and they also forgot about the vampires. The history about them became legends over the course of time that they did not bother to strengthen themselves anymore which was their natural nature. Their lifespan was only limited to a hundred so from generation to generation the truth about the vampire race had long been forgotten and treated as a legend.
His father already lost his interest in worldly things until he met Ivan's mother who gave birth to Ivan. Thus, after a hundred years Ivan's father died due to old age even though he was a vampire he could not exude his limit after all those years. He also had countless damage in his internal body that made him weaker and it was due to the countless battles he engaged in the Ravaryn world. He could escape it by using his reward but he chose to die instead.
Thus, Ivan was the one who inherited his rewards and gained the ability to see a part of the future. This also strengthened his body that made him comparable to a normal vampire and increased his life span.
"Then what is the connection of the virtual world in Ravaryn?" His deep soft voice lingered in Ivan's ear.
Ivan shivered as he heard those words but he didn't dare to stop answering Vladimir's question. He was confident that he wouldn't die because of the countless futures he had seen and none of them shows that he was dead.
"I don't really have an idea my lord, but based on what I know, the virtual world may be a replica of the Ravaryn world but it has some error on it which may be understandable as it was only a replica, and it might be one of their rewards that were placed in the universe," he answered with respectful tone as his legs kept shivering.
"Why did you warn me about the polygon island then?"
His question struck Ivan to the point that cold sweat dripped down on his forehead.
"Uhmm!, I - I, It's because I wanted you to go there because the main mission in the virtual world would appear at that time. And that will be the end of the virtual world," Ivan explained as sweat dripped down on his forehead and his shirt was already drenched in sweat.
"Why do you want me to end the virtual world?"
"Because I found out that the virtual world is making them feel comfortable about dying in that virtual world. And as I saw in the future after the true Ravaryn emerged they would think it was just a game and would not seriously play it."
In his prophecy, he saw that the true Ravaryn would appear differently unlike before where the top strongest would be transported to that world and the tournament will be held there. Instead of what he saw in his prophecy it shows that the world of Ravaryn would emerge in the form of a game. And as he prophesied it shows that humans would not worry about dying in that world and that would cause their world to lose and as he saw more into the future. It made him shiver.
Earth would be destroyed and disappear as a consequence of losing in the tournament that is what he had seen in the future. His power allowed him to see a certain part of the future and although it was only a part of the future it had many scenes and each of them had different possibilities that might happen. He had seen countless future in his prophecy and because he could see the future it was possible to change it which made his power flawed but it also shows him countless possibilities if he took that certain action but he could not be so accurate on how that future will happen because he could only saw a part of it and although it shows every possibility it shows him the result.
It didn't let him know the process and only the final result. Which is the only flaw of his ability as it also shows the future where it would go with Ivan's way and it also shows him every failure. That is the reason why he seek out Vladimir.
And from the countless future, he saw Vladimir remained alive even after the world was destroyed. Ivan could only hope for the better as he himself couldn't survive the destruction of his planet even though he was a vampire.
"So you want me to save the world?" Vladimir's voice was still devoid of emotions as if the one who was talking was just reading a plain text.
"I-I, the truth is that I am really hopeless, you are the only one who can save this world. And I won't be able to do anything if you don't want to save it. But please save our world."
Ivan spoke as he knelt on the ground and tears flowed out from his eyes. Deep sadness penetrated his heart as he remembered how he prophesied the death of humanity and how his family would suffer. Although he was a vampire he lived in a family and felt what it is to belong in a family. He had deep emotions rooted in the world, especially since he had already lived for a thousand years. And unlike those normal vampires who had lived in countless battles and killing.
"I beg you please save us my lord, ple-"
Before he could even say another word a tinge of pain emerged from his stomach that traveled throughout his whole body and as he was going to look down towards his stomach he was already high up in the sky. His body shot out like an asteroid traveling in the midnight sky.
Vladimir kicked him in the stomach as he did not want to hear his banter anymore. He did not like seeing someone who's begging for their own good. He was a man of principle and will do anything he wants using his own power and would not beg for anyone.
After using his foot to throw out Ivan he looked at it and a conflicted face was etched on him right now. He shook his head as if he was thinking about something.
Ivan flew out for almost a thousand miles away from the clock tower; he was relieved at that moment once he realized that he was still alive. If not for the strengthening effects that were included in the rewards of his father he would have died already.
He also thought that if Vladimir could make him fly for almost a thousand miles with just a single wave of his foot, how about if he even used all his strength. The pain that was coming from his stomach where Vladimir had hit him made him unable to exert his strength and stop his descent.
And with lightning speed, his body crushed on the ground that formed a small crater. The place where he landed was also a forest which made him heave a sigh of relief as he didn't want them to know who he was. And unlike Vladimir, he did not have the power to make anyone forget about what happened. He did not even have mind power or even the same strengthening technique that Vladimir was using. Where he was compressing his blood to the point that it almost lost its weight due to the change in its structure and even made it into a solid-state and even gaseous state.
Vladimir looked at Ivan in the distance. He was going to go there and follow him to ask more questions but he stopped as he was already going to jump to fly in the sky. Keiji stopped and shook his head before turning back and going back to Mia's location.
Once he reached his destination he saw countless bodies before his eyes lingered on Mia's body who had already fallen asleep. He walked towards her body before carrying it using both of his hands like he was carrying a princess. Then two black wings emerged from his back which tore his shirt. He then slowly flew in the air before making his way towards his penthouse. He landed on his balcony before entering the door using his telekinesis.
Mia was still unconscious even though they had already traveled in the sky. Although the penthouse was in a city it was also surrounded by trees that have grown and started to reproduce themselves. This was because the human population decreased after World War 3 and the emergence of the virtual world made the reproduction rate much lower which in turn made the whole world recover because of the less usage of cars that destroyed the atmosphere. And because the human population kept decreasing it made the price of a house much cheaper and also the real estate agency was already broken.
