- What is this?

- That's the baby kicking.

Henry was left speechless. It was the first time for him feeling a baby's kick.

- Henry, I have a favor to ask you.

- If I can, I'll be glad to help you.

- Can you come tomorrow with me to the doctor for the baby's check up? I don't want do go alone.

- What about the baby's father? Isn't he around?

- We are separated.

The next day

- Thank you for coming with me, Henry.

- Don't mention it.

- Ms Louise, please come inside. And bring the father with you. I'm sure he would like to hear the baby's heartbeat.

- I'm not...

- Sure, doctor. Leanne said as she took Henry by the hand and brought him with her inside.

Henry felt Leanne touch familiar, but at the moment he couldn't point from where. He stood quietly on the chair listening to the baby's heartbeat, and thought about the word "father" that the nurse said. He thought many times after the accident about Leanne and how nice it would be if she were to have his baby. But he still hasn't found her.

- Earth to Henry. Hello. Henry are you there?

- Sorry. I was lost in my thoughts.

- I'm done. Can we go home?

- Yes.

As they reached home, Henry's friend, the detective was waiting him in front of his house.

- Henry. I have finally news for you.

- Okay. Let's talk inside.

- Did you find Leanne?

- Yes, she's living next door to you.

- What? It can't be possible. She's a french woman named Louise.

- I'm telling you the truth.

- But why is she hiding from me?

- That, my friend is for you to find out.

- Okay. Thank you.

- I have to go now. My wife is waiting me for dinner. Bye, Henry.

- Bye. And thank you again.

After his friend left, Henry went to Leanne's house. He worked really hard to hide his smile as he knocked on her door.

- Henry, what are you doing here?

- I came to tell you something. I have to go away for two or three weeks. My friend needs my help with his company. But I don't want you to worry, I promise you that I'll be here when you're giving birth to the baby. Do you think that you'll be okay without me around. If not, I won't be going.

- It's alright. You can go. I'll be fine. There is still one month until the baby's born.

- Okay. I'll be going now. Said Henry as he stood up to leave, but he was stopped by Leanne who gave him a hug and told him:

- Thank you, Henry. For everything that you are doing for me.

- You're welcome. Said Henry as he caressed her face and gave her a small peck on the lips.

Leanne smiled seeing that he didn't even noticed doing that...
