Chapter 95：Where is Josh?

"What happened," Sheloah asked and Dean took a deep breath, released it, and then spoke.

"There are zombies in our camp," he answered and Shannara and Sheloah got surprised when they heard the news.

Veon, Sheloah's uncle, Sir Erick and their other comrades ran towards them to know what the commotion was all about.

"Return to the camp! We need to tell the others to get inside the bus. Hurry!" Sheloah then ran after she had given the instructions to her comrades.

The moment they arrived at their camp, they saw that there were a lot of people running. Some were helping the parents escape and that some of the students were attacking the zombies. There were some parents who protected the injured patients and even though Tyler was injured, he tried his best to attack.

"We have to stop this while some of them are helping each other to get on the bus," Sheloah said and they nodded as they prepared for attack.

"The others, get in the bus! Parents, please try to help the students accompany the injured to get inside the bus! We will focus on the attack," Veon shouted and Shannara, Tyler, and Josh went beside Sheloah to start attacking.

"Sir Erick and I will be the ones in charge of attacking the enemies near the bus," Sheloah's uncle said and Sheloah nodded at him.

They had now started attacking the zombies but they noticed that they kept increasing in number. Probably they had been distracting the zombies by the noise that they have been creating.

There were also some zombies that had started running towards Sheloah and the group and they had prioritized into killing these kinds since they pose more threat to their safety.

They were attacking the zombies relentlessly when suddenly, they heard a shout that had caught their attention.

"Sheloah, Josh is missing!"

When Shannara shouted this, Sheloah instinctively looked around to check. She became frantic when she noticed that Josh indeed, was nowhere to be found.

"What!? How is that possible? He was just right behind us a while ago!"

The others couldn't answer when they heard Sheloah speak. They didn't know where Josh had really gone to. They didn't even see where he went.

Sheloah wanted so bad to look for Josh but she couldn't leave their current position. They were already having the difficulty to attack the zombies. If she left them now to look for Josh, it would be more difficult for the others to attack.

They suddenly heard someone scream and they all looked towards the direction of the shout. They saw Dannie running for her life then she suddenly stumbled on the ground because of her sprain.

"Dannie! Come on!"

Shannara started to run towards her and was about to extend her hand to help her stand but a zombie suddenly appeared on sight. Shannara reflexively attacked the zombie to protect Dannie.

Sheloah was about to approach but she stopped in her tracks when she saw Josh running towards Dannie and hurriedly carried her in his arms.

"Dannie, are you—"

But he didn't get to finish what he was about to say. Everyone was surprised to have witnessed a sudden change of event.

Josh got bitten.
