133 She's Gone 2

"This is all good. The Princess have helped me with my plan, now all I have to do is wait for the perfect time and snatch the hybrid away."

Lady Lorelei watched on as they battled the beasts. She couldn't have planned this any better. Originally, this wasn't part of her plan, but she was more than happy that her plan to teach the Elf princess paid off more than she could have hoped for.

Astrid and Jareth faced off the beasts side by side. Jareth was on another level entirely. His speed increased, his strikes where precise, hitting the beasts at a weak point, but not giving them a fatal blow.

Dodging to the side and evading the attack of a wild deer, Astrid channeled her powers to the sword in her hands and rushed forward to attack the deer.

It turned around just in time to see her lounging for it; vexed it charged forth as well. As the two collided, a great force was felt, pushing back fallen twigs and leaves on the ground.

Both the deer and Astrid pushed back almost at the same time, before she had time to rest, another beast attacked her. She ducked and used the hilt of her swords to punch at its stomach, the beast leaped over her and crashed into a nearby tree.

The sword wasn't working for her as fast as it did for Jareth. She wasn't used to it yet. As she contemplated on using it or controlling her powers with her hands, Jareth's sword was knocked out of his hands by a hit from a leopard.

ROAR!!

Not sparing a second, Jareth leapt far away from the dangerous animal before it pounced on him. Astrid saw the predicament Jareth was in as the three beasts stalked closer to him.

She used her sword to quickly slash at the leg of the hippogriff rushing towards her, using her magic to freeze the beast in place, jumped and called out his name.

"Jareth! Catch!" She yelled and threw the swords right at him. As soon as her feet landed on the ground, she got enveloped in earthen armor.

Jareth on the other hand heard his name and saw the twin swords thrown at him. He cast a quick glance at the beasts stalking closer and with one swift leap, he caught the swords. As he leapt, the leopard leapt as well and came crashing down on him.

He raised the swords just in time in a cross shield, to prevent the attack of the leopards paw. The other beasts came running in to have a go at him. Things were getting out of hand.

White-Fire opened its mouths and a large flame engulfed the beast rushing towards Jareth. There was loud screams and crying sounds as they ran, trying to quench the burning flame.

The fire made the leopard to retreat several steps back, its gaze landed on the celestial beast in front of it and it cowered in fear. White-fire barred its fangs at it and let out a deep roar.

Jareth took the opportunity to quickly get up and thanked the White Tiger-Phoenix Beast."Thank you."

"Yes."

The little White Tiger assisted Astrid as she fought, watching her back and protecting her from harm to the best of its abilities.

Lady Lorelei smiled to herself, "Party's over people. Nice assist and team work, if I do say so myself. Now, before elfy princess comes and capture you, time to disappear," she said in a low tone and moved closer to the battle.

The re seemed to be no end at all to the animals. As more came attacking, Astrid used her magic power to push several of the beasts away. One landed not so far from where Lady Lorelei stood.

"Etchi berserk moiere... " she whispered some magic spells and an unknown force pushed the animal right at Astrid.

She moved backward just in time and preventing the beast from crash landing on her. With each beast attacking, she took two steps back. Litlle did she know that each step backward she took, brought her closer to Lady Lorelei's waiting arms.

The next step she took backwards was her new doom. Lady Lorelei moved out from hiding, quickly grabbed Astrid and disappeared.

Little White-Fire saw Lady Lorelei appear and jut as it was hurrying to defend her from the intruder, Lady Lorelei cupped Astrid's mouth with her hands and just before they disappeared, little White-Fire jumped in with them too.

White-Fire and Jareth fought on, not noticing the disappearances of Astrid and the little White Tiger-Phoenix Beast.

****

Lady Lorelei, Astrid and the little White Tiger appeared not too far from the fighting scene, close to the mist. As soon as they appeared there, Astrid began struggling against the person holding her.

With her free hand, Lady Lorelei brought out the magic collar and was about placing it on Astrid's neck when the Little White Tiger-Phoenix Beast pounced on her leg and bit down hard.

In a hurry, she had taken Astrid to prevent Jareth and the big celestial beast from finding out. Unknown to her, the cub followed. As it bit her, she yelled and tried to shake it off.

Astrid took the opportunity to break free now that her kidnapper was distracted. She elbowed Lady Lorelei on her stomach and bit her hand, covering her mouth.

An attack from the two of them wasn't what she was expecting, she quickly let go of Astrid from the pain she felt in her gut. Not taking any chances, Astrid sent several magic balls flying her way.

Little White-Fire saw the magic balls been thrown and let go of the kidnapper then moved to Astrid's side.

"Good boy, nicely done," she praised the little beast who stood idly fierce at her side.

Before the magic balls hit their target, Lady Lorelei raised her hand and a magic shield was formed.

"Stupid, pocknosing beast," she cursed.

None of her magic had any effect on her kidnapper.

"Wait, you can use magic too? Damn it." She was more stunned than scared or being annoyed.

Apart from her aunt, she hadn't met any magic user; she was partly elated and partly worried.

Lady Lorelei didn't answer her with words but rather, threw her own set of large darker magic purple balls at Astrid.

She simply let her powers do the talking.

It showed strength and power from the force the magic balls came hurling right at her.
