16 New Year Party Part 4

As soon as she got home,she called her cousin to inquire about her mother's health, she was relived that her health was improving, after talking with her cousin and her mother,she laid on her bed and stared at the ceiling and slept off.

Back at Lu Corporation, Zhang Wei sat in his perfectly furnished office chair and started tapping his table, he seemed to be lost in thought, there was a knock on the door, it was Wang Lei,he seemed to be visiting the office a lot, before Zhang Wei could say come in, he walked and sat down facing Zhang Wei.

"what is it?" Zhang Wei asked calmly

"Mei" he answered instantly

" She's going to be at the party,looks like my parents invited her"he continued

"so what should we do?" he asked

"nothing" Zhang Wei answered

" nothing,what do you mean by that?" Wang Lei asked in shock

"I can't ask her not to come, I didn't invite her" Zhang Wei answered

"OK, but if she causes trouble, it's on you" Wang Lei warned.

Later that they, Zhang Wei went home to get dressed for the new year party, he marched into his mansion, went upstairs and knocked on Li Na's door but there was no answer, then he heard thesound of a running shower, he retreated and went to his room to get dressed. After getting dressed, he came downstairs to wait for Li Na, as he waited patiently, he received a call and walked a few meters to answer it. As soon he came back, he saw Li Na walking towards him, he became speechless,the only part of his body that could move was his eyes, he stood in awe as he looked at his wife.

" how do I look? " Li Na asked smiling. It took a while before he answered

" beautiful "Zhang Wei answered but the truth was that he had no words to describe her look that evening, she was beyond beautiful

"Thank you" she said gratefully as they both walked out of the mansion and got into the car and left the estate.

As the car got to the hotel, a swarm of paparazzi faced the car trying to get the picture of the person about to alight from the car. Zhang Wei stepped out first and paparazzi quickly caught his picture,he held out his hand and Li Na placed her hand on his and came down from the car as she gently walked in her silver heels which complemented her silver gown and long her hair which she had cut short and styled in an edgy way. The paparazzi became more interested and took pictures of them as they showed off their wedding rings, signifying that they were married, Li Na smiled at the cameras happily,as for Zhang Wei, he's already used to this kind of treatment and smiled casually. After taking a lot of pictures,they went into the hotel and was welcomed by Old Master Han and Old Madam Han and some other guests. Zhang Wei introduced Li Na to some of his friends and colleagues. Not quite long,Old Madam Lu swooned in and took Li Na away from Zhang Wei and introduced her to her friends. Everyone couldn't help gossiping about Zhang Wei and his wife. They were now the talk of B- city.
