19 Tell The Truth

Li Na stood there puzzled,seeing this,she frowned,she didn't like what she saw. She moved towards them, Zhang Wei quickly pushed Mei aside and went towards Li Na. He introduced them to each other .

"nice to meet you, I'm sorry I have to leavenow but I'll come visit some other time" Mei said as she left in a hurry.

"so how was work?" Li Na asked

"It was a bit stressful" he answered. Li Na didn't say anything after that but her expression showed that she was not happy with what happened. Zhang Wei noticed this and quickly held her hand as she walked away.

"She's just a friend" he said sincerely. Li Na smiled at him.

"I know" she said to him still smiling.

"do you want to go out?" he asked, he wanted her to take her mind off of what had just happened.

"OK, I'll just change" Li Na said as she happily went to her room. As he was getting dressed, all she could think about was Mei hugging Zhang Wei tightly,she became angry.

"why am I getting angry?" she asked herself. She knew their marriage wasn't a love marriage, so she had no reason to get angry at him and besides she will soon leave his life so, so he can do what ever he wants,she convinced herself.

Li Na quickly got dressed and went downstairs to meet Zhang Wei who was already in the car waiting. They drove out of Lu Estate. They came back late and walked slowly into their mansion.

"Madam this came in for you" Liu Yang said as she handed over the invitation card to Li Na who opened it calmly. It was an invitation toStallion Foundation.

"Stallion Foundation?" she asked looking at Zhang Wei.

"It's a women group" Zhang Wei explained

"you should go, it will keep you from being bored and mother's going to be there" he added.

"but I have a job" she said slightly whinnying.

"you just have to manage your time and besides that shouldn't be too hard" Zhang Wei advised and wentupstairs. Li Na sighed heavily and went up.

The next morning Li Na woke up early and wore a blue body fitted gown, her red block heels and carried a red bag and wore a simple make-up. Old Madam Lu who had been waiting for her was truly impressed with her style. Li Na greeted her mother in law and they both went to the Stallion Foundation building. As soon as they arrived, they were welcomed by the director herself and the women who were members of the foundation.

"Madam Lu, your son has found such a beautifulwife" The director said. Old Madam Lu was so happyat the complements she was getting. After the meeting, Old Madam Lu and Li Na went back to the Lu Estate.Li Na went back toher mansion while Old Madam Lu went back to hers. On gettingto her mansion, she saw Wang Lei diggingholdinga bowl of soup.

"what are you doinghere? "she asked as she droppedher bag and sat on the sofa.

"what does it look like I'mdoing?"Wang Lei asked as he took a spoon of soup into his mouth. Li Na rolled her eyes.

"Do youknow someonecalled Mei?" LiNaasked curiously. Wang Lei almost chokedhearing that question.

"She'sa friend "Wang Lei answereduncomfortably.

"Ok" Li Na saidsmiling. A few hourslater, ZhangWei arrived from the office and and saw Wang Leiand Li Nasittingin theliving room,went upstairs, freshened up and came down to jointhem.Aftera while,WangLee stoodup to leave and asked Zhang Wei to see him off.

"has Mei met Li Name? "Wang Lei asked as they got close tohis car.

"Yes"he answered

"how? "Wang Lei asked in shock.Zhang Wei explained everythingto Wang Lei

"Well I guessthere'sonly onethingyou cando" Wang Lei said

"what'sthat? " ZhangWei askedas he watchedhis friendenterhis car.
